Digging for treasure! The environment is absolutely excellent, the service is superb, I fell in love with ❤️ once I stayed, the location is excellent and convenient to travel, the room is clean and tidy, there is no smell, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the service is warm and thoughtful, the facilities are complete and clean, and the price is super high!

Watermelon Hotel is absolutely fantastic! After one night, I extended my stay for another day. These past few days have been the coldest in Dalian this year; while it's not as freezing as Shenyang, it's still quite chilly. Staying in the warm rooms at Xigua (Watermelon) was incredibly comfortable. The heating was definitely five-star standard, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Since I get cold easily, the enthusiastic staff even provided an extra duvet for me to sleep with. The two rotating front desk gentlemen, the two ladies, and the housekeeping staff were all wonderful. Their service attitude was incredibly warm and caring, and they enthusiastically resolved any issues I had. Plus, both times, I was lucky enough to get my favorite quiet Room 510. 🍉 When I return to Dalian, I will definitely stay at Watermelon Hotel again. It's super awesome, so good!

Facilities: Two beds, both very clean. The sea view was absolutely stunning. Location: The hotel's location is super convenient, directly opposite Venice. Ambiance: Very clean. Service: Absolutely excellent. Someone came downstairs to meet us and explained everything. I think it's really great value for money. I'll definitely book again next time.

Whenever I'm in Shenyang, I'm staying here! The location is great, close to the subway and Youth Park, making it super convenient to get around. The owners, a brother and sister, are incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring a satisfying and pleasant stay. Downstairs, there's a snack street with all sorts of delicious food, and there are good restaurants nearby too – eating here is an absolute treat! The first picture shows the view from the window; you get a breathtaking panoramic view of Shenyang's sunset. All in all, everything is perfect! I'll definitely be back here on my next visit!

Great location, only a 5-minute walk to the Broken Bridge, eateries and restaurants are within a stone throw from the hotel. The Dandong Railway Station is a 10-minute taxi ride. The hotel room though clean and comfortable looks a little jaded. A small 3-storey hotel with no lifts makes carrying heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor a challenge for older folks like me. The reception staff was helpful though, he helped carry my wife's 18kg bag up to the 3rd floor. I struggled with mine. Overall it was a nice experience staying for 2 nights here.

I brought my mother to Dalian during the off-season. It was a great value for money trip, with beautiful scenery and fewer crowds, and hotels weren't expensive overall. After looking at many hotels, I chose this one. My mother was very satisfied. This hotel is incredibly convenient for getting around, very close to Zhongshan Square and Youhao Square. Both buses and subways are easily accessible, and it only takes about 40 minutes to get to the airport on Metro Line 2. It's also just a 10-minute walk to Dalian Shopping Mall and Russian Style Street. The hotel room was very clean. I booked a twin room, and it was quiet at night even though it faced the street. Complimentary bottled water, snacks, and popcorn were available in the hotel. A friendly reminder: this hotel is in an old building, so there's no elevator. However, the staff members are happy to help with luggage. If you have mobility issues, you might consider booking a room on the second floor.

좋은 위치의 방에서 친구들과 잊지 못할 추억을 만들고 갑니다!!! 비록 방 내부에 먼지가 많다는 아쉬운 점이 있긴 했지만, 위치, 비용, 서비스 등 모든 면을 고려했을 때 전반적으로 매우 만족스러웠던 숙소입니다. 도보 10분 내외에 얼통공원, 중산광장, 지하철역, 버스 정류장 등이 있어 이동이 너무 편리했습니다. 또한 맥도날드, 밍지카오위, 홀리랜드 등 다양한 프랜차이즈 음식점은 물론, 편의점부터 대형마트까지 모두 가까운 거리에 있어 전혀 불편함 없이 식사하며 머물 수 있었습니다. 덧붙여 여행의 묘미는 현지인의 삶을 체험하는 것이라고 생각하는데 이 숙소에 머물면서 아침 공원의 풍경, 길거리에 생긴 시장 등등 많은 것들을 보고 느낄 수 있어서 더욱 좋았습니다. 마지막으로 정 많은 사장님께서 항상 밝게 인사해주시고, 중국어가 비교적 서툰 저희를 위해 쉬운 중국어와 영어를 섞어서 친절하게 소통해주신 점이 너무 감동적이었습니다. 다음에 대련에 갈 기회가 생긴다면, 재방문 의사 100%입니다.

Stayed for four nights in total, the first two days in a king-size room, and the next two days in a business king-size room. The room is spacious, the front desk service is good, no deposit is required, and check-in and check-out are fast. The room has no odor, plenty of hot water, and is very quiet. The hygiene needs to be improved. On the first day when I stayed in a business king-size room, I found that there was no paper towel in the bathroom when I had already started, which was a bit embarrassing. In short, the hotel at this price is good value for money.

The room was very nice in every way, with cozy wallpaper. Slippers and sheets were changed and washed every time a guest left. You weren't allowed to wear your own shoes inside. It was very close to the North Station, and you could see the trains passing by.

I stayed overnight. The room was very small, but cozy. The toilet and bathroom were shared, but surprisingly clean. There was a slight cigarette smell. Check-out is self-service; simply drop your room card in a designated box. Getting to the hotel requires walking across the streets, but it's quite easy with a GPS. There's a nearby shopping mall, convenient for those with early or late flights. Overall, the hotel is quite good for the price. Everything is clean, and the amenities are in line with the price. If you're staying for a short time and on a budget, this is a great option.
