Location is superb. The only issue I had was the noise since i got the window bed. I can even listen clearly to the conversation downstairs. Plus the car & motorcycle sound is very loud. Bathroom & toilet is clean. But have to wait for quite some time coz it’s shared with 2 dormitories.

Only stayed for one night. Booked it I think the night before or the same day. It’s cheap, for a private room with TV and bathroom. It’s quiet. The front desk, was very considerate at the time. The regular check-in is at 3pm, but she let me leave my stuff and go back at 12pm. That was only about an hour of waiting or even less. Just enough to have my breakfast. They have a pet cat, it’s the cutest thing ever. Basic necessities are there. Not really a downside for me, but it’s still good to know that you gotta take a 22-step stairs, to get into the elevator. It’s just how it is. It’s in a GREAT location though. Like before entering the elevator, it’s Mala Hotpot. Before taking the stairs, it’s Family Mart. And it’s located inside the Ximending night market area. I’d actually stay here again when I come back. If I’d need a private room versus dorm type. The only thing that needs improvement is cleaning the entire room: they haven’t cleaned the under bed really well. Like I was trying to look for my slippers, so I bent down and saw the previous disposable slippers are there too. False eyelashes. Dust. Hair. Used bottles. But if you think of it, why would you need the under bed cleaned anyway? Well at least for me. It’s not a super big deal. But I remember some people have allergies and this might trigger them. So yeah. It still needs to be improved on. And it might become source of insects, bed bags maybe? or whatsoever. Oh, and the electric pot wasn’t that clean as well. I think we shouldn’t normalize that regardless if it’s not being used often by every guest. I to use the water dispenser outside(which defeats the purpose of having your pwn kettle in your room right). Overall, I’d still stay here for the sake of cheap price, quiet environment and its location.

It's Mine Hostel

I recently had the opportunity to stay at ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong, and overall, I found it to be an okay accommodation option. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel: Atmosphere and Policies Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment. Room Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point. Service One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided. Pricing Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value. In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong. I hope this review helps!
The White Hotel

Pleasantly surprised and impressed by the hotel's architectural design and the vast lawn in front of the hotel. However, with only one receptionist handling the check-in, the process was unbearably slow and took a long time to complete. Fortunately, when we finally went into our room, we once again were blown away by the spacious room configuration. There were two large beds against the wall, and L-shape sofa couches, with plenty of bay windows surrounding the magnificent room. The bathroom was okay, no Toto. But that’s fine. The gigantic hot spring circling tub was large enough to fit at least four adults. It is equipped with a whirlpool! And there’s a big glass shower room, of course. The bedding was very comfortable. There are also typical tea and coffee bags with four water bottles and a small fridge. All the expected amenities were provided in the lovely hotel. Although there are paid afternoon tea facilities at a reasonable price, it didn’t offer to dine for the evening. But I guess it’s understandable since there’re plenty of great restaurants in the JiouSi and Yilan areas. The breakfast was so so lovely. We’re up late. But the staff did remind us to pick up as much food as we needed before they put them away. Overall, it’s much better than we expected. We initially thought it might be tacky and exaggerated in its deco. We found this 5-year-old hotel used suitable materials to compose its content. So we liked it and enjoyed it very much. We will come again with our friends. We highly recommend it!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Europe. We got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice. Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided. Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well. Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too! Service: The staff was friendly and helpful. Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”. Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night. Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

The staff at the front desk were always kind and helpful, and some even explained things to us using a translation app, so we were able to spend a very comfortable and enjoyable two-night stay. It was right behind Longshanji Temple, close to the station, and there was a landmark, so it was easy to explain to taxis.

Before booking the room, I asked if I had cooperated with the government tourism subsidy plan. I confirmed that I had, and I only sent a deposit of 2,000 yuan to complete the reservation. I also applied for the electronic serial number in 11/20. The Waterfront Leisure Hotel also completed the serial number login on the government official website. But in 11/23, I called and said that I would cancel the travel subsidy with the government. We have to admit ourselves to staying in the room at the original price, or unsubscribe to us. 11/24 Call the Tourism Bureau in the morning to ask about this part. The Tourism Bureau answers that the business who has withdrawn, and can still assist us in completing the travel subsidy application after logging in, which does not affect the rights and interests of both parties. However, the proprietress of the water bank said on the phone that she is in her 60s and will not use the government system (who completed the electronic serial number login), saying that many industry players have withdrawn, and I am not watching the news broadcast so big? ! ! And said that to live is to use the original price, as for their own withdrawal of tourism subsidies part of the sacrifice is that we have to absorb. The proprietress said that she would refund 2050 yuan, and returned the handling fee to me (it was very Ashali, and only sent 2,000 yuan after brushing the book). Therefore, I am looking forward to staying in the surrounding scenery. When I meet this businessman who is not talking, I will only ask consumers to absorb the loss. I can only say that I recognize it! ! The phone money transfer cost and time of this process can only be told to other passengers who want to book a room, please think twice. A cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations. After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs. Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning. They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.
