CChee Kieong LeongThe cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

IIvyyyyyyyThe editor's online conversation was very enthusiastic and sincere, but the male employee who received us on site had a blank expression 🫥 and no emotional introduction. I thought I was still in Taipei, but we asked enthusiastically and excitedly. Other than that, the overall environment was generally good. If you are afraid of noise, please be careful. The train is right next to you and will still come in and stop very late, and the sound will be amplified.

GGuest UserI got a bunk bed room for this trip, budget but good environment, and security. staff is friendly and nice they are always willing to help it’s nearby Zhongshan station and Taipei main station. The shared bathroom have soap and shampoo also dryer. They also provide the towel. Love it will be back for sure. 🩷🩷🩷🇹🇼🇹🇼

NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time. Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊 Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away. ⸻ ⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe. Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃. 🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy) Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here. If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

GGuest UserAfter reading other reviews, I was prepared for the worst, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The pros are its excellent location, just a 5-7 minute walk to Alishan Railway Station. There's parking right in front, which is great for those driving. The breakfast restaurant they partner with is also really good! 👍👍👍 The downside is the poor soundproofing; you occasionally hear footsteps or people talking. However, since I was so tired, I fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me much. 🤣🤣🤣

辰辰元姝The toilets and showers are shared, but they were kept very clean. I barely ran into other guests during my stay, so overall it was quite good. The room was small, but perfectly sufficient for one person. However, the soundproofing was a bit poor, but luckily the guests on either side were quiet, so the overall stay was still quite pleasant. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel doesn't provide water, so you'll need to buy some from the convenience store across the street.

AAnonymous UserBudget-friendly and very accessible from Taipei Main Station! We had a great stay and loved the convenience of the location. One suggestion would be to replace the black walls with a lighter limewash color to make the room feel more spacious and bright. It would also be nice if the rooms had a bit more cabinet or storage space. 😊 Additionally, we hope the mattresses can be upgraded to something more comfortable for a better sleeping experience.
