"It was quite good at an affordable price. The location was good, there was a shop nearby, I could eat, buy a lunch box, warm it in the microwave and eat it."

"The room is located on an upper floor of a building in an area near Shimonoseki Station where many izakayas (Japanese pubs) are clustered. I knew there was no front desk and it was self-service, but the lack of a door chain and peephole cover made me uneasy as a woman traveling alone. Also, the toilet seat was cracked, which I thought was a bit dangerous. Perhaps because there are restaurants on the floor below, there were insects. I think it would be good to have insect repellent. Although I've written a lot, the interior was clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, and electric cooking appliances. In Shimonoseki, many hotels skyrocket in price when there are events, so I was grateful to find a place to stay at a reasonable price. Personally, I think it would be even better if the price were a little higher, as it would provide more security features."
