"Self checkin was easy and simple. No fuss. We arrived a couple hours early. Phoned the Mob No @ unmanned reception desk. Mgr gave us access code to our unit. Lovely cleaning lady arrived to complete finishing touches cleaning our unit but not expecting we had arrived early. No problem at all. Finished off her task.
Our self contained unit no.2 was clean, warm & fresh.
Parking space for our vehicle was great.
Great value for money.
Will definitely recommend staying there.

SSachin SSThe twizel town is very beautiful and the place was at the right place. However, the room we choose wasn’t that great. I know it’s a small town but reception area was closed by 7pm so you need to make sure you arrive before time else need to message the check in time.

ZZT1990The motel room is very clean, the car also has a place to park, not far from the city center, and overall is good. The only thing is that the sound insulation is not very good. We live in a small villa facing the street. The single-story glass on the second floor is a bit noisy when there is a big car. But still recommended, the Chinese at the front desk are more lax

JJulesTGreat location right by a beautiful lake — perfect for the scenery. The accommodation was generally clean and comfortable, and the bathroom in particular was well-maintained.
The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, a toaster, and microwave. However, some of the cookware could use a proper clean as there is burnt residue on them, and a few of the stovetops don’t work reliably.
Cleanliness could be improved overall, as there was some rubbish under the bed.
The walls are quite thin, so noise can be an issue — you can hear people walking up and down, as well as doors banging from guests coming in and out of rooms.
It’s worth noting that guests need to bring their own towels, make their own beds on arrival, and strip the sheets before leaving.
Overall, a pleasant stay in a fantastic location, with just a few practical improvements needed.

DDaerwenguojiaThe hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the airport. There is a gas station nearby, which is convenient for late arrivals. The key is placed in a box at the front desk door, which is very convenient for self-check-in. The TV in the room is very new and can watch YouTube. The kitchen is a bit small, but the things are quite complete. There is a bottle of milk in the refrigerator, which I thought was left by the previous guest. The room has a private bathroom, which is good. It is very cost-effective for many people. The supermarket is 10 minutes drive away.

KKimberlyn JHLovely location, just a few minutes walk to town. Close by restaurants and shops. Easy check-in process, and the place is clean. It's slightly cold though, one of the hot showers is not hot enough. Otherwise, we had a great time staying here. Tekapo is lovely in the winter!

GGuest UserBeautiful place. Nice and helpful stuff. Very comfortable dorms and facilities. I’d just recommend to add more hooks and shelves in bathrooms. Lots of cosy common areas. I joined a couple of events and really enjoyed my stay.

GGuest UserAn absolutely fabulous place. Really playing on yhe history of the building all while still giving privacy, security and fun.
Location is super close to a variety of restaurants, cafes and take-away stores, and a general store for those forgotten small items.
Parking is free but it's a first come, first serve scenario.
I loved staying there and highly recommend to any traveler looking for a funky and reasonably priced accommodation.

GGuest UserBooked this last minute in our way from the airport to Arthur’s Pass. The room was great with all we needed in the kitchen as well. There is a small gas station not far away where you can buy some food to cook. Other than that there really isn’t much at the town. But we loved it. Also the owner was super sweet and welcoming. Great to be able to park right in front of your own room.
