GGuest UserLet's start with address; difficult to find even people living there could not find it easily. The entrance is disguised by some lady selling various objects.(see photo)
You have to be mind reader to find your room and bed as receptionist doesn't move her ass to show, instead mentions the wrong door with a punch code(it is obvious that it happened before as the code is still on the punch pad). The correct pad is actually on the handle of the next door that you need magnifier to find it ,if it is your first time. Then writes down 1/1/1/ which is supposed to be 1st door,1st bed and 1st locker.
Skip this hostel if you are light and early sleeper as the tram line passes next door and it turns is quite curvy so the nise is quite annoying and happenes periodically. There is also noise from wooden floor and bed brames each time you move, Basically you have tiptoe to in order to make less noise. However, the major drawback is the bathroom cailities rather the lack of it only one bathroom for so many guests. I had to wait more than one hour and eventually gave up.
On the plus side, it has great location only few minutes to the old town centre. It also is quite clean.
For the price you pay which is about half the average hotel, next time I would definitely stay in a hotel. It is your choice.
AangsumanbhanjdeoRoom was basic , however was very clean and comfortable. Accessibility was not a major concern considering that the bus and tram stop near the hotel . Recommended for short budget stays.
GGuest UserCheck in was easy and quick with a friendly receptionist. They let us check in slightly earlier which was great. The room is basic, but is pretty much what I expected. One of the sheets had a large brown stain on, the cleaner was in the hallway so we asked her to change it and she did straight away which was good. We asked at reception later on that day (different receptionist) for another pillow as the one they supplied was super thin and was just told NO! Super rude! Was a 'little bit' far from the main square, however with Bolt being Really really cheap, just £2.50 to get into the main square we didnt mind at all. We were there 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned or towels changed within that time. Breakfast was a sandwich from a local Deli, a biscuit, a yoghurt pot and an apple with a bottle of water, which you collected from reception. There was a kitchen at the end of the corridor where you could make tea and coffee, which they supplied free of charge. Over all definitely worth the money, would have liked an extra pillow, and perhaps one change of towel would have been nice.
GGuest UserThe location was great. A fairly short walk to the old town. There is no front desk or any visible service, except the cleaner in the morning. Although the room looked nice and was quite large and had clothes hangars and a desk, it had a big problem. There was a window above the door and the hall night flickered all night. A few seconds on, a few seconds off. Even with my sleep mask, the constantly changing light was very noticeable and made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I noticed that my room was the only one in my part of the accommodation with such a window, so I guess the other rooms would be better. They should really cover the window up. Even if they fixed the flickering, it would still be annoying to have the light go on whenever other guests go to the hall to use the bathroom or for coming in and out. The other issue was the internet. It was useable for what I needed during the trip, but it lagged at times, and I don't think it would have been suitable for a work conference call.
Bbatako915The entrance was difficult to find. It was on the side, not the front. Because there was a lock on the building itself, there was no room key. Breakfast was included in the hotel rate, so it might be a good idea for those who have to leave early in the morning. (There was plenty of fruit available.) The lockers were quite large, enough for larger items like backpacks, but my suitcase for international travel definitely wouldn't fit. For some reason, the elevator didn't work, so I had to climb quite a few stairs while carrying my suitcase. The WiFi didn't work at all, which was extremely frustrating... It was also frustrating not being able to properly watch YouTube or TikTok at night. The toilet and bathroom were in the same room. The bathroom door could be securely closed, so the sink never flooded.
WWhynottravelCheap room, 6 bed room, is a house that is divided into a hostel. I don't reset the floor all the time. I'm quite crowded. But it's cheap enough, forgive me. There is a convenience store next door, 20 minutes walk into town. Bathrooms are shared downstairs and upstairs. Just the overall score.
BBen WaiteGreat stay. A student accomodation used as a hotel during the off season. New building that it doesn't even appear on google maps. Good facilities. Safe area and easy walk or tram in to the city centre. Right next to one football ground with the other just over the park. Under £10 Uber to the hotel from the airport. Really strong Wifi, comfy bed and decent shower. The only thing missing was a sponge or cloth to do the washing up! As it's a student accom, the kitchen is also in the room to use. People of all ages were staying however, and there was little to no noise from students still around even it being a Friday night. Check in was simple and the key was ready when I arrived after 1am to collect at the 24/7 reception desk.
GGuest UserOne of the best value for money hostels in the area. I stayed in a private room that was very spacious. It also included small but pretty balcony which was as nice surprise. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom also was clean. The only two slight negatives being that it’s around a 25 minute walk to the centre , so you kind of have to commit if your going to pop their for the day but large issue if you enjoy a walk.
Secondly the walls were a little thin and my bedroom was located next to the shared bathroom so I’d sometimes wake up in the morning to the sound of people on the toilet. Besides that on the whole was a good hostel.
AAnonymous UserThe location is fantastic! You can pretty much walk to all the attractions in Krakow city center. Since all communication was online, I was a bit confused during check-in and other interactions, so I recommend checking details in advance. Also, the bed shakes quite a bit with every movement, so I wouldn't really recommend it if that bothers you.
GGuest UserWhen I booked the reservation there seemed no choice for a single gender room. I thought maybe they will arrange so in fact, but I actually got a mixed gender room. This should not be blamed on the hostel of course because I did not confirm that when I checked in. So this is an advice for the future clients that if you want a single gender room, make sure to ask for one when checking in. Otherwise you may get a stinky room after waking up.
Overall it’s a nice place. It’s within walkable distance to all attractions (for me). The view on the street was also very nice!
