The front desk was friendly and the room was generally good, but when I checked in, the phone in the room was unplugged. I tried to connect it and call the front desk, but sometimes the front desk didn't answer. Also, there were times when the phone itself didn't work.

Good overall, the hotel offers shuttle bus (pick up and drop off) service but you have to call to reserve it. Cleanness is good but could be better. Breakfast is small and decent and only opens in 7am, you are going to miss it if you have an early flight. The room is very big. So it's a good choice if you are looking for a hotel for a long layover at Dallas Airport.

The room was neat, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included omelets and meat patties, and the yogurt and milk were of good quality, which was considered good among American breakfasts! But the room smelled of perfume or aromatherapy, which was not very accustomed to! The location was in a small alley, and there was a bar on the corner, so I was a little worried about going in and out at night. It was about an 8-minute walk from the river walk, and there was a popular BBQ restaurant along the way. It was about a 13-minute walk to the Alamo Museum. A very cost-effective hotel!

Check-in was a breeze and Veronica at the front desk was very pleasant. Once in the room, because I cleaned up water spilt on the floor, I found the white toilet paper turned absolutely black AND with pubic hairs on it to boot. All this within 1sq ft. I called the lobby and asked how often the floors were mopped. I was told “every day.” I related what I had found to the contrary and was asked if I wished to change rooms to which I said “yes!”. When I went down to retrieve the new key, I took the wadded toilet paper with me and she took a picture of it before throwing it in the garbage! There were two very large, well lit, vending machines in a hallway off the main lobby, and the ice machine was in good working order and the ice, clean and solidly frozen.  I decided I was too tired to check and see if the new rooms’ floor was dirty or not so I proceeded to not ever walk on the floor with my bare feet. The day manager, Mari, was very nice and the coffee was hot fresh out of the thermos on the side table…hot water and tea bags also available. If you detest “sweet ‘n low” bring your own natural sugar. I ran into the head of housekeeping and happened to mention how disgustingly dirty the floors were in my first room, and I informed her that the night manager had taken a picture of what I had wiped up on my piece of toilet paper and she said she would go and ask to see it. I later learned that Mayra had indeed done so. So that was good attention to detail. Everything in the room worked fine including the remote and TV, the microwave was spotless and looked brand new and it even had a childproof lock on it for those families traveling with curious offspring that haven’t internalized the meaning of “NO” yet 😵💫. The refrigerator was spotless and new looking as well. WiFi was strong and reliable. I walked by the pool, which I noticed was closed (understandable for this time of year!). It was full of water, but I must say that it looked the equivalent of a Louisiana swamp and I was prepared to see a ‘gator come climbing up those darkened, slimy stairs at any point in time.😆 The parking lot at night is VERY well lit around the entire property which is a very welcome sight! Being right off the interstate doesn’t provide for any exciting venues to walk to but there IS a wonderful grocery store (HEB) .7miles away straight down Rundeburg on Lamar/Rundeburg. Other than that there are a plethora of food trucks doling out South American ‘cuisine’ just yards from the front of the hotel as well as across the street. I didn’t try any of them so cannot opine. I hope this was worth the read, if indeed you got this far! Cheers!🥂

Much better than the last time and I am absolutely grateful that we could work things out and the staff was amazing and the communication has definitely gotten so much better and what a blessing may all are so from my last review till now please exclude that I was disrespectful I wasn’t understanding And they have things going on that they had no control over and I should have been a better person which I was not absolutely amazing staff blessed by God and a heart of gold and I’m thankful that they took my apology for my rudeness of the last review. It was an all God trip this time and that’s the only way I can say it is Love God first and the things that we do wrong he’ll help correct even if we’re stubborn old mules, and I’m just thankful that they forgave me and what a blessed visit it was I’m cleaning this was 100%. They went above and beyond on all levels and just so much more so don’t question when you stay here I never will again they are very forgiving people even when we make mistakes and get misconstrued and I’m grateful for that, I thank God for this visit again and the ability to have a safe place to stay and very caring and loving people All ages  and hearts of gold so the one thing I can say I’ve learned all this before we use our sharp tongues and source to tear somebody down or tear a place down. Remember our wrongs cause no one is perfect even if we have to eat the crow at least do it with learning and understanding that the next time that could actually hurt a business and take away from them and that’s not right beyond lovely people people of God I’m grateful for everything and anything and I can’t say in detail, but I just can’t say enough that treat him like gold. They deserve it. Don’t treat him like crap. We’re all human. Please remember that God gave us a chance to love and cheer people up. Remember, they have good days and bad days too like we do. They deserve respect, honor, and being treated like class not beneath our feet, and these people are way above and honorable and classy, and I’m thankful for them! y’all have a blessed day just remember who you tear down you may not get a second chance to fix it hope and pray that God will let you fix it his way not our way. Thank you to the amazing staff the building and everything I was truly blessed to just be in the presence of y’all and magnificent of being around y’all and your nice building and I thank God for people like you have an absolutely blessed day and trust God with your life you’ll fix what we can’t fix!

I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, allowing me to start relaxing right away. My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest after a long day of travel. The room’s modern amenities, including a large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning. The selection was impressive, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Whether I was in the mood for something light like fresh fruit and yogurt or something more hearty like waffles and eggs, there was always something delicious to start my day off right. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, being just minutes away from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The complimentary shuttle service was a huge convenience, making my travel to and from the airport effortless. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. TTracy MorganI scheduled a stay on the wrong date. The manager comped me $5. Not a big discount but every bit helps. The room was very clean though it had a strong bleach smell. Lots of contractors and their families staying in the hotel and talking outside our door til late and early next a.m.

When we first arrived, we were in a second floor room. I asked for a ground floor room because both my friend and I are disabled veterans. No problem, we were given a ground floor room. When we initially went into the room, it was quite hot in there. In an attempt to cool the room down, I found that the controls on the air conditioner turned all the way around, leaving me not really knowing where on the dial did it corollate with the cool setting. While sitting on the bed, I noticed the ceiling and the very evident water damage on the ceiling. There were large areas on the ceiling that showed where large areas were covered by sheetrock or wood, then covered with paint. There were other areas that showed long sections that had water damage that had not been fixed, too. The only amenity was the ice bucket. All in all, the bed was decently comfortable and got a fair night’s sleep, but the pillows were less than useful. The only thing that irritated me was the fact that housekeeping knocked on the door before 1100 am. We were already taking our belongings to the truck and when we tried to get back into the room to get the rest of our belongings, the card key no longer worked! I had to walk from one end of the motel to the other end to get back to the office; they had to reset the key I guess. Walking that distance was very difficult physically for me and I feel that would not have been necessary if the key continued to be effective in unlocking the door. I think next time I will stay somewhere else.
