⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Magical Family Escape at Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel, Anji County (11–13 July 2026) We recently stayed at Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel in Anji County from 11–13 July 2026, and overall it was a wonderful family experience. This hotel is much more than just a place to stay — it is a complete family holiday destination designed around children, imagination and creating unforgettable memories. 🌟 Exceptional Service from Shi Jun — A True Credit to the Hotel Before arriving, I honestly considered cancelling our reservation due to communication difficulties. However, one person completely changed our experience — Shi Jun from the front desk team. Shi Jun demonstrated truly exceptional hospitality. Through WeChat, he patiently communicated with us, answered every question and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He helped us when we were close to giving up on the reservation, arranged room changes, helped find a suitable place for me to work, assisted when we needed to visit the hospital, and continued to care about every detail of our family’s needs. His professionalism, kindness and genuine concern for guests represent the very best of hospitality. Shi Jun is a young man who is a true credit to Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel. For his service alone, I would give 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 🌟 Beautiful, Spacious and Immaculately Clean Rooms The room was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The family design created a warm and welcoming environment, with excellent bedding, a well-maintained bathroom and plenty of space for parents and children. For families travelling with young children, cleanliness and comfort are essential — and Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel truly delivered. 🍳 Excellent and Abundant Breakfast The breakfast was another highlight. There was a fantastic selection of food suitable for both adults and children. The variety was impressive and provided a great start to each day. 👨👩👧 A Wonderful Family-Friendly Environment The greatest strength of this hotel is its understanding of families. Everything is designed with children in mind, creating a place where children can feel excited, happy and full of imagination. Our child especially enjoyed the family atmosphere, and it was wonderful to see so many families creating happy memories together. ❤️ Great Potential with Some Areas for Improvement The hotel has an excellent foundation: beautiful rooms, a fantastic concept, wonderful family facilities and a great location. With some improvements, it has the potential to become one of the best family resorts in Anji. 🌍 International Guest Communication As an international guest, communication was sometimes challenging. Unfortunately, none of the staff members we met could speak English, and some were reluctant to use translation tools. Basic English support or greater willingness to use translation applications would greatly improve the experience for overseas visitors. 🧑🍳 Breakfast Service Professionalism Although breakfast was excellent, we noticed the chef using his phone in the breakfast area during service time. For a family resort with such great potential, maintaining professionalism in all public areas is important. 🌙 Night Reception Service At approximately 5:00 am, we needed assistance because our room key required reactivation. Unfortunately, nobody was immediately available at reception. A 24-hour guest service presence would improve the overall experience. 🚗 Arrival Experience The entrance creates the first impression. We noticed the security staff member appeared distracted using his phone and smoking rather than actively welcoming guests. A more professional arrival service would better reflect the quality of this beautiful resort. 🌧️ Typhoon Weather — More Indoor Activities Needed During our stay, a typhoon affected the weather and some outdoor facilities were closed. We stayed at this hotel for one night on August 10th. The Giraffe Manor Hotel is located in a bamboo forest. We booked a package deal on trip.com. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, and we were a little unlucky with the weather, as Typhoon Dolphin was in full swing, so we weren't able to fully appreciate the park and its children's activities. We booked a Distant Mountain Family Room. This room is on the first floor; it's better to book a room higher up—on the second or third floor—with a terrace for a view. The room, bed linens, and towels were clean. The room has everything for children, including a play tent, toys, a children's skincare set, and a giraffe-themed toothbrush. There's a bathtub by the window in the room itself. On the table was a plate of seasonal fruit, a capsule coffee machine, and coffee capsules. There was also a children's snowball fight set. The room had a slight, subtle odor, possibly due to the humid climate; we weren't sure what it was. But our main goal, of course, was breakfast with the giraffes. We arrived at the restaurant for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. We recommend arriving at that time to get a table by the window; the giraffes are released at 7:00 a.m., which is when they're hungry. Carrots are sold starting at 7:00 a.m. A bag of carrots costs 30 yuan. We bought 15 bags of carrots in total, as feeding the giraffes is a joy not only for children but also for adults. The giraffes are very well-groomed and cute. They have beautiful eyes with eyelashes. We definitely recommend coming here with children. The breakfasts themselves are delicious, buffet-style, and offer both Chinese and European cuisine. They also have delicious ice cream. We also had dinner at this restaurant. The portions are very large; one dish is easily enough for two. Our package included champagne, but you need a separate paper coupon for it. Please confirm this with reception if your package includes champagne. We weren't given a voucher right away; we had to write to reception during dinner. The issue was quickly resolved. We communicated with the hotel staff through a translator throughout. Upon checkout, our daughter was given a stuffed giraffe. We definitely recommend this experience for families with children and not only for kids: breakfast with the giraffes will be a memorable experience for everyone. We will definitely recommend this experience to our friends and everybody.

Shunping provided excellent service, arranging everything perfectly. My stay was very pleasant, and I'd especially like to thank the Guest Services Ambassador, who was warm and thoughtful, responded promptly to requests, and handled issues patiently and meticulously with professional and attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, close to West Lake, making it convenient to go anywhere. Being right by West Lake means you can avoid the crowds and visit early in the morning. Wulin Night Market is also nearby, great for budget-friendly dining. Intime Department Store is within walking distance, so high-end shopping is right at your fingertips. The location is truly convenient.

This hotel is located far from the city center, nestled amidst mountains and water, offering a fantastic environment. It's much more suitable for a vacation than hotels in the central lake area. The hotel facilities are exceptionally well-maintained; you truly understand the value for money once you stay here. Our butler, Felix, provided excellent service. The weather wasn't ideal this time, as we caught an 'autumn tiger' heatwave, making it hot and stuffy with no refreshing autumn breeze. I'll definitely plan to visit again in October next time for a more comfortable experience.

I extended my stay because it was so good. The exquisite afternoon tea, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are all highly recommended. The room was clean, hygienic, and free of any odors. Upon checkout, they even gave us a souvenir gift to eat in the car, which was very convenient. I especially love the Yiwu Jindou Hotel and will definitely come back again.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, the room is spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the separate small room ✌️. The gym equipment is also good, quite large and sufficient. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Stepping into the room felt like coming home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ningbo. Environment: There's construction across the street, but it didn't affect anything at all; there was no noise. The hotel even provides earplugs, which is a nice touch. It's also conveniently located right next to Banji. Service: Miya, my apartment manager, was incredibly dedicated and responsible – thumbs up! 👍 The breakfast at this hotel is also delicious, especially the scallion oil noodles 🍜. Overall, I'd give it 5 stars.

The breakfast was pathetic. The hot spring bath was basically a communal bathhouse. The pool was terrible, easy to get hurt and bleed. Swimsuits bought on site were ten times the price of those outside. If you want to participate in activities, you have to follow the hotel's schedule, you can't just use a car whenever you want, which was very inconvenient. Other than golf, there was nothing else to do nearby. The cycling scenery was just mediocre, and the mountain view from the scripture copying area was also just okay. There were no places to wander around. Besides the golf course, which you couldn't even enter freely. Although the service at the Western restaurant for dinner was good, the ingredients were just average. The food at the Chinese restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't very tasty, and the prices were high. I wouldn't want to come again.

The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. Many nearby hotels feel conventional by comparison; this one feels imagined, designed, and delivered with vision. 11/10 – beyond expectations, beyond category. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

## Thousand Islands Lake: The ultimate staycation choice! Voco is truly an excellent choice, a hotel under the InterContinental umbrella, so the quality is superb. Getting to the hotel is very convenient. It's about a 25-minute taxi ride from the high-speed train station. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle bus from the high-speed train station (¥15/person) to a nearby intersection and then a connecting shuttle to the lobby. The hotel is surrounded by lake views. Rooms with balconies offer clear and beautiful scenery. (Personally, I feel that the views from the 3rd and 4th floors are better than the 1st and 2nd floors). The hotel service deserves a perfect score. The day before check-in, I received a call, and a staff member added me on WeChat. A special thank you to Selena! She introduced the hotel and provided travel tips. Any questions I had were answered very quickly! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering the food. Regarding the food, I only tried breakfast, and the variety was incredibly rich. From classic Western fried eggs and bacon to Chinese congee and soup dumplings, there was everything imaginable, satisfying all taste preferences. I'd also like to mention that the gym equipment is of good quality! It's more comprehensive than many other hotels.

The Manli Hotel experience was superb! 👍 The room was fully equipped with a TOTO smart toilet, Huawei TV, coffee machine, and other amenities. The gym's professional equipment was well-maintained, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. The front desk staff, Xiao Zheng and Xiao Li, and the concierge, Xiao Gong, provided excellent service. A five-star review is a must!
