The Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!

Hotel is more suited for business travellers as nearby corporates offices suggests. As a solo leisure traveller the hotel was not for me, in terms of sightseeing etc with everything futher away. Breakfast and dinner selection was somewhat limited but nice food. Prakash the waiter served with care and efficiency. At the Spa on one of the nights there was no one there at the reception to take queries as the one and only therapist was engaged with an appointment! So what does one do wait for hours to be atteneded to? As a sign suggested i left a message for a call back for an appointment, but got none.

The location is good and the hotel is just fine. Need some renovation around the path leading to beach. ***y opt for this location for ease of access to beaches, if that is not maintained it will lead to disappointment. The SPA is not per the expectation and the maintenance of the spa is very bad. Food is above average. The buffet breakfast is fine but lacks variety for those staying longer. Overall it was a good experience. The attender at the pool Mr. Babu is very good, he should be awarded for his fine service. Overall the hotel staff are polite and well ***nered and hear to our concerns.

One of the best experience we had in our kerala trip. This resort is located in one of the most stunning locations. The property is well maintenance, absolutely clean and done to perfection. We stayed in a luxurious villa with a private pool. It was one of the most stunning villas. The facilities provided inside the villa were very satisfactory. The best part was the open shower provided in our bathroom, which according to me was the biggest USP of the room. The staff is very polite, very courteous, very humble. The restaurant in this resort provides one of the best authentic Kerala cuisine you will ever taste in the state of Kerala. The resort makes sure that we connect with nature and ourselves with abundant Greenery and yoga sessions. The spa was a good experience, but I see a of scope of improvement in the massages. The resort also provides a glimpse into the kerala culture through various cultural activities performed on a daily basis in the evening. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant and highly satisfactory experience we had in Kerala and one of the top five experiences we had throughout our travel journey. I do recommend everyone to experience this.

The property was excellent and well maintained. The staff were very warm and attentive. Would like to book again. The only slight glitch was in the breakfast rates. We had made a booking without breakfast. As per trip.com offer breakfast rate was Rs 450 per person to be paid at the hotel. But the actual rates were Rs 750 plus tax. So double check the rates with the reception before availing.

Fragrant Nature,Fort Kochi was an incredible find .. The hotel is stylish, oozes comfort and the bedrooms are beautiful.. From the minute you arrive, the reception staff ..Sandra, Naveen and others were a delight.. organised, efficient and very welcoming , offering helpful information about the surrounding area and what to visit. Advising you the hotel does afternoon tea on the terrace and a cookery lesson with the chef -all complimentary .. Believe me worth the visit. Nothing was too much trouble. Which leads me to the roof top restaurant., not only was the menu mouth watering with choice but even more delicious when the food arrived .. the chefs here are trained to a very high standard and monitored by the Head Chef. The roof terrace itself lovely by day with colourful plants but by night it is transformed by lights and is very ro***tic and magical. The hotel is spotlessly clean , they provide purified water in your room daily and facilities for tea and coffee are also included. The location is central and leaving the hotel in any direction leads you to the sights. Outside the hotel is daunting at first and a bit ***ic .. but it’s India .. it’s colourful and noisy but the people of Kerala are delightful, sweet and are not pushy .. I was so impressed by this hotel I returned for a further 3 days at the end of my stay and the 2nd impression was even better than the first .. you will not be disappointed if you book this hotel

Everything about this hotel is absolutely brilliant!! I only stayed for one night but wish I’d booked for longer. Beautiful interiors, charming building, attentive and kind staff, wonderful food, comfortable bed, great housekeeping team. I’m highly fussy about hotels and rarely say this - but 10/10, I will absolutely be staying again!
