We had a wonderful stay at Brisbane Skytower Apartments and would definitely book again! Location: Right in the heart of the CBD, with Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the casino all within easy walking distance. So convenient for exploring the city. Room: More like a stylish studio apartment than a standard hotel room. Very spacious, bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. We had a lovely view overlooking the river. Facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped – not just basic stuff, but actual cookware, utensils, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a decent-sized fridge. Perfect if you feel like cooking. Also great to have both a washing machine and dryer in the room, really handy for travellers. Service: The 24-hour front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We stored our luggage with them for a few hours after check-out so we could explore before heading to the airport – no issues at all. All in all, a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for space, convenience and a home-away-from-home feel.

L'arrivée s'est très bien passée, les chambres sont propres et les lits sont confortables (si vous aimez bien les matelas pas durs) pour ma part, j'ai très bien dormi. Grande piscine avec l'eau plutôt salée, belle terrasse et de nombreux choix de plats si on a envie de manger quelque chose sans aller trop loin. Le personnel est disponible et sympa! We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok but during our stay, no one came and clean up and we asked to change the towels only and the housekeeper seemed like she wasn't happy. When we checked in, the staff at the reception didn't give us any information on when to check out or information about the hostel because my application showed that I could check out until 5 pm, luckily I was asking. We don't ask for any special treatment but just the basic thing that we should've known. We've stayed at YHA Sydney Harbour and the staff were friendlier. Not that bad but not that good though.

Hotel is next to star casino and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years. The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full. Without this drama, this hotel is good.

Staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns for 3 nights across two rooms, I genuinely feel it offers exceptional value for money! Upon arrival at the front desk for check-in, we were immediately greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies. Having just gotten off the plane and feeling a bit hungry, it was such a welcoming touch. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtfully arranged for our rooms to be on the same floor, which was incredibly convenient for traveling with elderly parents and children. The rooms themselves were clean and tidy, with good views and scenery. Breakfast was fresh with a wide variety of choices, and the service staff were all very friendly. Downstairs, there's a restaurant and a ping-pong table, which our kids absolutely loved playing with. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool. Its location is another huge plus: Right across the street is the aquarium, and it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Walking to the marina for boat trips takes about 10–15 minutes, making it convenient to get everywhere. Overall, the experience was fantastic. For family travelers, this is absolutely the perfect choice!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

It’s a really nice place to stay with family. We booked two bedroom suite and it was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We used laundry facilities as well. A word of caution - dryer permanent press cycle makes clothing really really hot - don’t burn yourself. They have complimentary coffee and sometimes little muffins as well. Our flight out of Cairns got cancelled and so I emailed to request a room for extra night, but didn’t get response so booked another hotel. It’s far from the coast, board walk etc but close to one of Indian restaurants in town.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

Place is amazing clean , fresh and of high standard . But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to Card then said she would come out and make sure it worked as I said the night before man had to come And make sure carry worked she forgot card for The card so Went back into get then came out .. followed me down then gave me a card .. I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10 Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues Not sure what or how I was uograded as the room was smaller and no window as in first room 506 to 606
