- Great service by reception staff: offered welcome drink and patient to answer our queries and accommodated our request for rooms to be same floor or near each other
- Spacious, clean and quiet room which offered full set of basic toiletries along with four complimentary bottles of water and some biscuits. Would be good to offer coffee sachets.
- Appreciated the comfortable cot setup for 1 of the room.
- Location: not the most ideal as might not be easy to locate for some drivers, 12-15mins drive away from Qilou Old Street.

GGuest UserThis is a four-star hotel, and admittedly, some of the facilities are a bit old. When I arrived in Haikou, it had just rained, and there was a musty smell in the room and corridors, which was a bit off-putting. However, everything else was quite good. What stood out was that the shower water was natural hot spring water, and you could even enjoy the hot springs from 2 PM to 10 PM daily. For a room rate of just over 100 RMB, it's truly excellent value for money. Plus, the hotel is located right in the old town, full of local charm and a lively atmosphere. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Haikou.

MM254153****Facilities: The hotel is very new and has all the necessary amenities. There's a washing machine, gym, and restaurant. The environment is excellent, tastefully decorated in a vintage and Nanyang style. The bedding is very comfortable; the mattress is just right, not too soft or too hard. Each bed comes with two types of pillows, so guests who prefer either soft or firm pillows will find one that suits them – that's a huge plus! The 4th-floor restaurant also serves great food, making it possible to spend the entire day at the hotel without needing to go out.
Cleanliness: All tables in the room, including those in the bathroom, were very clean.
Service: The front desk staff wasn't overly enthusiastic, but they did handle everything I needed them to, so it was fine. The airport transfer driver was nice and quite chatty.
Airport pick-up/drop-off service: Having the airport transfer service was truly hassle-free, and the vehicles provided were new and comfortable.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was excellent and varied, offering fruits, bread, hot dishes, and even freshly cooked items. The room also came with complimentary drinks, and you could pick up free coffee at the front desk. They even provided late-night snacks! But what truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also had lovely voices, making every interaction a pleasure.

Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”...
But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen...
First room:
The fridge was not cold.
Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰
The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger.
Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity.
In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it...
For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes.
Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk...
The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice...
So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me...
The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊

Nice spacious room with little balcony, but balcony has a concrete wall, not glass to see through...
From the premises you go directly onto the beach!
Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea...
If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️

GGuest UserOverall, everything was great. The travel photography and the sea-view restaurant were excellent. They thoughtfully provided a disposable bathtub liner (would be even better if it were a bit bigger) and rose bubble bath, which my little one absolutely loved! It was fantastic that the pool stayed open until 10 PM. The beach was right there, with soft and comfortable sand, where we easily found all sorts of beautiful seashells – a wonderful experience. Waking up early, I saw people fishing from the shore, and they actually caught quite a few fish. There were also two dogs happily 'surfing' in the waves.

GGuest UserThe room isn't huge, but the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right next to the Qilou Old Street and directly opposite the Bell Tower. The service was also excellent; I was able to check in early because a room was available, and they even upgraded my room type! The windows and toilet are smart, so you can tell it's a very new renovation, yet there was absolutely no formaldehyde smell. Definitely recommend! Oh, and breakfast was incredibly rich and varied too. Great value for money, a really high-value stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel's interior is excellent, and the soundproofing is really good, making it very quiet. The overall facilities are well-equipped, and there's a printer/copier on the first floor that you can connect to. The breakfast restaurant on the 11th floor is also quite good, with special breakfast items rotated daily. The 'Qingbuliang' (a local dessert soup) is fantastic, and right next door there's 'Longquanren Coconut Chicken.' The hotel offers a coupon for 25 off every 100 spent there, which is a great deal. The location is also convenient for getting around, making it a perfect choice for business trips. Since they offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the duty-free shop, I plan to stay here again for my next leisure trip.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the layout was cozy and comfortable – a truly delightful stay. It's also super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. We loved just sitting by the window, chatting and watching the sea, and taking evening strolls on the beach – so relaxing and lovely. The host was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. This B&B really enhanced our entire trip; we felt so comfortable and happy here. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and we're planning our next get-together here. 马马不停蹄This is a massive hotel, within walking distance from Airport Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is a bit further, but there's a large shuttle bus service available, making it perfect for early morning flights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a three-part bathroom featuring a separate vanity, toilet, and shower. However, a major drawback is that the toilet and shower rooms are made of entirely transparent glass. While there's an outer door for privacy, it means you can't use both simultaneously, which can be inconvenient if someone urgently needs to use one while the other is occupied.
