The lobby is bright and spacious, offering freshly ground coffee, though the orange juice wasn't great. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided a clear room layout map. Our room came with earplugs, a humidifier, and individual AC control. However, the hotel does show some signs of age; there were some bulging spots on the wallpaper near the corners, the TV couldn't cast, and there seemed to be no smart home devices. Despite that, the overall environment was decent, the bed was comfortable, and the room was incredibly well-proportioned! I appreciated the large mirror in the bathroom and the full-length mirror. There's a mini-fridge, but even on the strongest setting, it didn't get very cold, so I ended up asking the front desk to store my food in their fridge on the first floor.
The hotel's location is very central, close to all the main attractions. It's just a short walk across a traffic light after exiting the subway. The General's Yamen is right across the street, which was very convenient for a quick visit on our last day.
The breakfast area was lovely! The weather was nice and the area was clean, with blue skies and white clouds. The revolving restaurant had good food, including piping hot milk tea and lamb offal soup. I highly recommend the watermelon – it was very fresh and sweet! The steamed dumplings and fried noodles were also decent, but the fried rice was the most disappointing. The shumai had a bit too much scallion and ginger for my taste, not as good as what you'd find elsewhere. There was only one noodle station, and I think they could benefit from adding more live cooking stations to enhance the experience. I ate my fill and felt fine afterwards, suggesting the ingredients were good, unlike a previous hotel in Shanghai where I got an upset stomach, likely from stale dumpling fillings.

[The staff's amazing service]
Arrived at Manzhouli Airport after 9am
For some reason the internet was slow and I couldn't use DIDI!
I negotiated with the taxi driver and got a ride to the hotel for 150 yuan, which is 5 times the normal price
Every time I go to a new place, I always get a first taste of being ripped off
I was depressed and decided to leave my luggage at the hotel, but they were able to check in from 9:30am
There were still people eating breakfast!
[Thank you so much] My inner voice
They said they were going to do the cleaning, so I waited 5 minutes and let them into my room!
That was amazing service!

The room is simple and modern in design, with warm and comfortable colors and reasonable space layout. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress has full support. You can sleep until dawn without any pressure! The sound insulation effect is also great, and you can't hear any noise from the corridor or the road. The bathroom is clean and bright, with sufficient water pressure, complete toiletries, and attention to detail.
Breakfast is one of the surprises! There are a wide variety of varieties, a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and fresh ingredients, especially the freshly cooked noodles and coffee bar. The replenishment is timely, and the service staff will also take the initiative to ask about needs, which makes the experience full.

We were driving back to Beijing and decided to stop for a night in Hohhot. We're a group of three adults and one child, so I specifically looked for a suite or a room with one king bed and two single beds. After searching countless options on different apps (maybe I just didn't use them right), this was the only place I found that had what we needed. The price was quite high, probably due to the National Day holiday, but we figured we'd just go with it. When we arrived and parked in the underground garage, I was shocked by the mosquitoes, the smell of the grease trap, and the overall environment – I've never seen anything like it. The lobby was bustling, almost like the entrance to a shopping mall. The room had an older style of hotel decor, which I'm fine with. Once inside, I realized it was actually two rooms connected by a secret door that had been opened, essentially making it one large room. I feel like this should have been mentioned when I booked or at check-in. Also, the king-sized room had hot water for showering, but the twin room didn't have any hot water for a long time, though it was back in the morning. The breakfast was decent. Overall, it was okay; it's definitely a hotel in a bustling area with plenty of food and amenities right outside.

This hotel was the most satisfying one during our China trip. All the staff were super friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic! Especially the ladies number 10 at the front desk, who was very efficient in helping us with our check-in process! The breakfast was very rich, with fresh and delicious food! The restaurant staff were also very nice! This is a hotel we will definitely come back to and we highly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel is excellent ,I can't find any flaws. So far, it's been the best stay I've had. The room was clean, the service was great, and the breakfast was a delightful .I especially loved the design of the separate toilet and basin, which meant I didn’t have to wait for someone else to finish. I’ll definitely return to Atour Hotel for my next trip .

The environment is warm and the facilities are complete and atmospheric. The service, especially Xiao Shi at the front desk, is warm and thoughtful. The breakfast was quite satisfactory, the haggis was impressive, and the morning wine was more informative. Every time you come to the fertile city of lakes, this is the best choice.

Facilities: The room was very new and clean.
Hygiene: The sink, toilet, and bedding were all very clean.
Environment: The location is incredibly convenient, just a few hundred steps west of the Tongliao Station exit.
Service: Absolutely outstanding! I rarely experience such excellent service in hotels below five stars in Northeast China. A butler contacted us in advance, and they truly went above and beyond to meet every single request. A special thanks to our butler, Mianmian, for helping our family. Since we had a child, she helped us switch to a non-smoking room, stored our frozen items, and even gave us free breakfast. She truly went above and beyond.
An excellent hotel! I recommend it ten thousand stars.

Secondly, the hotel's amenities were very comprehensive, with smart home technology, excellent water pressure, temperature, and air conditioning. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the soundproofing was excellent. The beds were also very comfortable. The breakfast was comprehensive, with both Chinese and Western dishes being delicious. Highly recommended!

AasasasasasasasasThe hotel is ideally situated between the New City Hall and Olympic Park, with both landmarks approximately 1.5 km away. It's a relatively new property, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally quiet in the evenings. The hotel management is incredibly thoughtful, providing guests with both afternoon tea and evening tea. Regrettably, I had already ventured about 2 km out to find a snack on my own, so I missed out on these offerings. The surrounding area, however, still lacks developed amenities.
GGuest UserWe checked into the hotel fairly late, around 8–9 PM, and were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist informed us that we had been upgraded to a higher room category—something we truly appreciated. However, upon entering the room, we were immediately hit by a strong cigarette smell, which was disappointing given that this is a non-smoking room.
We informed the front desk and requested a room change, but our request was flatly denied with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked. We couldn't help but feel that this particular room had likely been complained about by previous guests and, with no other options available due to our late arrival, it was passed off to us under the guise of an ”upgrade.”
To their credit, the receptionist did offer to send a housekeeping staff member to address the issue. Shortly after, a lovely housekeeper named Zhang Li Jie arrived. She was incredibly kind and proactive—wiping down furniture and mopping the floors in an effort to remove the odour. While the cigarette smell still lingered slightly the next day, her efforts made a big difference. Speaking with her during the process was a highlight of our stay—her warmth and professionalism truly turned a negative experience into something more bearable. If not for her, our entire impression of the stay might have been ruined from the start.
On a more positive note, breakfast was delicious, and overall, it was still a decent stay—though we did joke that our lungs took a bit of a hit sleeping in that room.

GGuest UserAmazing place! Amazing hosts! Amazing team! Amazing service!
The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is a beautiful little boutique hotel where nothing is missing: the rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean, and the team is incredibly friendly and helpful.
A real highlight is the delicious tea ceremony – the perfect way to end the evening while sharing stories. The hosts make it so easy to feel at home!
If you need help organizing your trip, you can fully rely on the hotel team – simply fantastic.
The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is located right by the riverside promenade and close to the city center. There’s nothing better than strolling back to the hotel after an iced hotpot, across the town square and along the river – highly recommended!
If you’re stopping in Aershan, you should definitely stay at the Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿). We would come back anytime – and we already miss our wonderful hosts!

GGuest UserGreat location right in the city center, and super close to the subway. The room was clean and comfy, the sheets and duvet covers felt brand new, and the A/C worked perfectly. The front desk service was excellent – they'd always greet me warmly when I walked in. I'll definitely choose Weilai Hotel again next time!

GGuest UserThe lobby design is very retro and has a very nice fragrance. The front desk lady provided warm service. The breakfast was also very rich. It was a satisfactory accommodation experience.
CCaiyunwangfuduoduoThis was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express in China, and I found this one outside my city to be quite a good value. For just over 200 yuan, I got to stay at an IHG property. The hotel is relatively close to Hohhot East Station and Baita Airport. I walked from the hotel to the East Station in less than half an hour. You can often see planes flying overhead. The room was very spacious, nearly 40 square meters, but I couldn't find a mini-fridge anywhere. The hotel provided welcome fruit and a late-night snack. I wanted some congee but couldn't find a bowl. When I asked the male chef who was making noodles, he told me so loudly that it startled me. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and there wasn't much I wanted to eat. I didn't wash my hair when I showered at night, and when I went to wash it in the morning, I realized the shampoo was almost empty; I had to pump it for ages. It's a good thing the toiletries can't be removed or opened, considering what some people might do these days.

MM524806****The price didn't increase much during the holiday season, and the quality remained consistent with great service. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring local specialties like 'beizi' (baked flatbreads), lamb offal soup, and milk tea. The large parking lot also made parking very convenient.
