Central location right by the train station but very quiet. The staff here and EXCEPTIONAL. Rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning works great. Breakfast had a large variety of options with eggs made to order - outstanding view from the top floor restaurant. Would recommend for anyone staying in Okayama or the surrounding area.

Family comes with 4 beds (instead of 2 as indicated in trip.com description). Room is pretty spacious, bed is a bit hard and bathroom is a bit narrow, but overall still comfortable. Location is good, walking distance to JR stations, Aeon with good varieties of food at the food court. Near to big camera, animate, donki and lots of shopping options at Aeon too. Will definitely stay here again.

I really love the location as it’s next to the Uno port, easy with my two luggages after I traveled the islands. I love the onsen with very good restaurants and massage inside!! 🥰🍱 After onsen and dinner, I still can see stars ✨ and the big moon 🌙 artwork in front of the closed gallery aisle, walking back to hotel! I wrongly booked the shared dorm but it’s surprisingly neat, clean, spacious and friendly with all amenity plus the open-bar of different tea!! Loving it!! 🥰 The breakfast is at the dinner restaurant, the set is in very nice in design!! Next time I would try to stay in the room with open patio or camping next door!! The tourist centre and train station are just next door, or I can just rent a bike to browse around for udon and coffee ☕️…. I’d see more galleries and islands when staying in Uno port next time, after I get bored with staying in Takamatsu port! Highly recommend this hotel when traveling with family and friends!! 🥰❤️🙌🏻love!!

We were traveling with a baby, so we were looking for a comfortable hotel that was kid-friendly, and we found this place! They had already pushed the beds together to prevent falls and even prepared a kids' mouthwash cup for us. The service was excellent, going above and beyond while still being discreet. The room was spacious and quiet, and we had an incredibly comfortable stay. The room included a refrigerator with a freezer, a toaster, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a curling iron. We'll definitely stay here again if we visit Kurashiki. The location was convenient, and even though we had a car, there was a coin-operated parking lot right in front specifically for kei cars, which was a lifesaver. We brought food back to the room to eat, and there's a large shopping complex on the opposite side of Kurashiki Station, so we had no trouble at all finding what we needed. Thank you so much!

This was my second stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama, and it's been renovated, making it even more comfortable. The large public bath upstairs was wonderful for a soak every evening. The room was clean and tidy, and it's very close to Aeon Mall and Okayama Station. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Overall, a great choice!

Convenient location, good service, but no parking space, nearby parking lot charges are very expensive, if you drive yourself, it is not cost-effective 

My stay at Setouchi Keirin Hotel 10 was one of the highlights of my trip. The view of the Sea from the room was absolutely stunning—peaceful and beautiful both in the morning and at sunset. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the design felt modern and minimal. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The location is also very convenient, especially for visiting Naoshima, as it is close to Uno Port. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to and from the port, which made traveling even easier. Overall, it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind. I would definitely stay here again!”

Lovely accommodation - everything was well thought out and considered. Excellent location close to train station and Bikan Quarter. We had a wonderful time in Kurashiki. Will definitely stay here again. No washing machine / dryer - only thing that would make this accommodation even better. Thank you for having us!

For a traditional Japanese hotel, this location is truly exceptional, perfect for experiencing the Edo-era scenery of Kurashiki. You can easily stroll around, take photos, and go shopping right outside the hotel in the evening or morning. I highly recommend visiting and staying at least one night to experience it. The gentleman at the evening counter was incredibly welcoming, enthusiastically introducing the hotel's architecture and history, and even invited us to the banquet hall on the second floor, where we were awestruck by the massive wooden beams. Such warmth and hospitality made for a wonderful time and a truly memorable experience.

The scenery is so beautiful, very comfortable and first-class service! The proprietress and the driver staff are kind and friendly! If you buy a jrpass, you can make an appointment to pick up and drop off. It’s free at Kurayoshi Station and highway tolls at Tsuyama Station, but it’s worth it. Time is money. I gave a small gift before I finally left, looking forward to going again next time!
