XXiayudechuntianThe room was spacious overall with excellent natural light, making for a very comfortable stay. The bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a restful sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely recommended!

GGuest UserHaving stayed at three Dormy Inn hotels – Wakayama, Oita, and Omiya – this one, in Omiya, was the least impressive overall. However, it still surpasses most Japanese hotels in the 600 JPY price range. The main issue is that half the rooms face a wall and a large cemetery. Also, the Sky Onsen can't really be considered a true open-air bath. Perhaps because of the diverse clientele here, the onsen's cleanliness wasn't particularly great. One thing worth mentioning is that they accommodate guests with tattoos; as long as you cover them with two 10x10 cm tattoo stickers, you can use the onsen. This is quite welcoming, as judging people based on their appearance is outdated and impolite. Finally, there are many convenience stores downstairs, and a very clean and well-stocked drugstore (though prices are slightly higher). It's also very close to the station, so the value for money is still excellent. I would choose to stay here again when visiting Omiya.

GGuest UserWe knew the hotel was near the train station but didn't know how close it was! The building it was in and around it had many food options with a really delicious bakery on the 2nd floor. Not far from the Cocoon City Mall and the Saitama Super Arena, it has easy access to travel within and outside of the Saitama area. We were lucky enough to catch the Art Aquarium Exhibit at the arena which was a delightful treat. The hotel staff were courteous and attentive and the rooms were comfortable with all the necessities for our group. Would definitely recommend and return whenever we want to visit Saitama or Tokyo again!

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Yuno Yado Wadoh with a friend, the scenery out there is absolutely beautiful, the staff were so helpful and attentive, the food was so delicious! The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The public onsen and private open air bath was heavenly. There were also some very fun hiking trails within walking distance from the Ryokan. I would highly recommend this Ryokan as a fun get away from the city to really get to see and experience the countryside of Japan while not having to travel so far.

LLinJennyHad a wonderful time here! The staff was super polite and friendly, although be mindful that they don’t speak very much English, so having a translator app on hand was very helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a delightful experience. We arrived by train, but the route on foot to the hotel was fairly easy to navigate. The Onsen was the highlight of the place. It was very clean and well maintained. The outdoor bath was incredible. I would definitely come back here if I get the chance to :)

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located very close to the train station, which makes it convenient for travelers. Right in front of the hotel is a Matsuya, and at night the area comes alive with plenty of izakaya options nearby. Parking is available, but it’s not underground—it’s situated beside the hotel. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have a public bathroom outside of the rooms. The facilities overall feel rather dated, so if you are particular about modern amenities, this might be something to keep in mind.

GGuest UserLove my stay at this hotel with my families. The staff were very friendly in assisting us with all of our needs, and made sure our rooms are all on the same floor. The rooms are very clean and spacious, more spacious than the typical hotels we stay in Japan. Location of the hotel is very near the train station too.

GGuest UserThe dinner for the 24 solar terms was delicious. There were many rice dishes, and it was quite filling. Since it was a private room, I could really focus on the taste. Personally, I was happy that the amenities included tabi socks, which added to the experience of Japanese attire.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a five-minute walk from Omiya Station, which is a major plus as it's very close to the subway. There are also frequent trains to the city center, and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, including a beautiful large park! The service was truly outstanding. I asked the front desk for local food recommendations, and they quickly printed out a food map for me. There were quite a few tour groups staying there, but my room was spacious and comfortable, and being on a high floor offered beautiful views. If you need cleaning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. On the downside, it's quite a distance from central Tokyo, requiring multiple transfers, so you need to pay attention to your directions. Also, there's a cemetery nearby, and you can see it from the room if you open the window. Something to consider if that bothers you.

LlidachouThis hotel was a fantastic find! The large public bath on the second floor was super convenient, making it unnecessary to shower in the room and keeping the room dry. A 14.8 sqm room was perfectly adequate for one person. All rooms face south, so the futons get sun exposure daily, and you can open the windows for ventilation, which is a big plus. The mini-fridge has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off to reduce noise and energy consumption if you don't need it. The room was brand new and odor-free. If you don't leave your room before 10 AM, they won't clean it that day, but you can leave your trash bin outside your door for staff to empty. No water is provided in the room, but there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 10 meters downstairs. On the first floor, you can self-service toiletries, tea bags, and ice cream bars. Electric bicycles are available for rent at the entrance. Getting to Tokyo and Shinjuku is easy, but make sure to take the rapid or limited express trains on the subway, as the local trains that stop at every station can be a bit of a drag. For 390, the room rate includes breakfast and two hot spring baths a day. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Omiya Station. The east exit has Takashimaya, while the west exit has Sogo and 0101 (with a large Montbell on the first floor where you can get tax refunds). There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Windsor Racket is about 10 meters to the left in front of the hotel, though they don't have many new arrivals. Inside the station, you'll find Lumine and Lumine 2, which includes Beams. Isomaru Suisan is just 50 meters outside the west exit of the station. Omiya is also a Shinkansen station, making it very convenient to go north to Karuizawa. It only took about an hour from the hotel to the Karuizawa Outlet. The station itself is huge and often sells delicious and reasonably priced local strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. There's also a branch of the famous Sembikiya strawberry cream sandwich shop inside the station. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying, mainly Japanese-style with plenty of soups and dishes. The value for money is exceptional. They also offer unlimited free takeaway coffee every day. I feel like this is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Staying for a full week costs about the same as one night in the city. It's an absolute steal!
