The owners are very kind and helpful. They exchanged Thai baht to Lao kip at a good rate and prepared breakfast for us, including an omelette, pancakes, fresh orange juice, and mixed fruits. The accommodation is in a great location by the river, right next to the pier. I would recommend it if you’re crossing the border late from Thailand and need a convenient place to stay. We also ended up taking the slow boat tour from there.

The hotel recently renovated, room is big, clean and fresh. Front desk and staff are friendly, offer every help guest asking. They only accept cash for the room (CNY or Thai Baht). Free breakfast but the venue is in Kapok Star Hotel. Overall very pleasant stay.
