Had a great stay at The Tokyo Aparthotel. The apartment had everything I needed and the location was close to all the main attractions in the city. The staff was friendly, welcoming and made me feel at home. There is construction going on in the area at the moment, but besides that, I would highly recommend staying here. The facility itself truly lives up to its 5-star standard, beautiful, well-maintained, and luxurious lives up to the standard of the Radisson hotel brand which is my go to hotel when traveling the service unfortunately did not match. From the moment I arrived, I noticed a lack of basic hospitality from most of the staff. Simple gestures like greeting guests or offering assistance seemed to be overlooked, which was quite disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. That said, I would like to acknowledge the one staff member who checked me in, he was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His service was the only moment that reflected the level of excellence one would expect here. Overall, the hotel has incredible potential, but the guest experience is significantly let down by inconsistent and, at times, indifferent service. I hope management addresses this, as the property itself deserves better representation.

The room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with a huge bed (looked like two single beds pushed together), a small living area, and a little balcony. Everything in the room was spotless!! The bedding was dry and soft. There were staff at the door to help bring luggage to the room, but we didn't have any cash for a tip, which I felt bad about! The hotel breakfast was plentiful and halal, which was perfect for us. For this price, getting a four-star hotel in Cape Town is incredible value for money! Highly recommend!

The location is excellent, and the security is top-notch. The basic amenities in the room are very sufficient. Everything was satisfactory, except for the rather small sink in the bathroom. The staff were also very helpful.

New hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with a small kitchen and a washer/dryer. The bathroom with a shower is clean and also well-appointed. The breakfast is extensive with lots of fruit, delicious bread, and freshly brewed coffee of your choice. Since the hotel is on a lively street with restaurants, it can get noisy at night. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Typical hotel apartment, safe environment, sea view, new facilities, parking, and a good stay experience. However, this price is not cheap, in fact, you can also choose a larger apartment that can wash clothes. Attach a sunset on the beach 200m in front of the hotel.

Great convenient location with lots of nice bars within walking distance. Staff are friendly. The toilet flush was not working one night so I called housekeeping and they came immediately to temporarily fix it but said that the maintenance team is not available and asked whether I would be using the toilet later... Thankfully the flushing issue did not recur.

The hotel was lovely and staff very helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh.alp the decor around the hotel was just like photos. There was an incident regarding security of my room and reception were very supportive and patient in reviewing all the CCTV footage. I was ensured staff would be formally approached about the incident. The hotel gave me a room stay for the day afterwards and accommodated any request.

This is not my first time visiting this place but this time I don’t want to lie I was very disappointed. I got charged 200 rand cause my pillow had oil(hair oil) I have braids on and additional to that they said there was blood on the sheets which was so weird cause I did not bleed Mind you this blood was only mentions after I told them that I will come back tomorrow cause paying 200 Rand for small smudges of oil on the pillow cash didn’t make sense then the receptionist went on to say we saw blood Then they said there was food sauces as well ..I mean I’m staying there and I was here for 2 nights ain’t no way am I going to leave the place spotless But the receptionist was just being rude which was unnecessary Like I said this wasn’t the first time coming here I always come and never have I ever gone through this even after staying for more days with friends I just think it’s drama to charge me for oil on my pillow cause I slept on it it’s bound to happen a
