It's a really cool, beautiful place. There were a lot of people right before the opening. We didn't regret getting an entrance ticket + Fast Track to the rides, which allowed us to visit all the top attractions (Transformers, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park) in one day. The lines for them were 2 hours long. I recommend everyone to go there.

As a 50-year-old dad traveling with my daughter, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from a massive theme park, but Universal Beijing Resort completely blew us both away! It turned out to be one of the best bonding experiences we’ve ever had.The park is incredibly grand, clean, and beautifully laid out. While my daughter absolutely loved the thrilling areas like Transformers: Metrobase and Jurassic World, I was completely captivated by the immersive details of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the indoor Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness. The Kung Fu Panda zone was a huge highlight for me—it is fully air-conditioned, beautifully decorated with Chinese culture elements, and offered a fantastic pace to sit back and take everything in.

The place is huge and beautiful. I entered through the north gate and went straight to the Palace, climbing the stairs. I had a reservation that included dessert, but I even forgot to pick it up. But I'm glad! Besides having made good use of my time, I'm a vegetarian and I saw later that they changed the rose cake to a dessert with pork. I wouldn't have liked it at all! I recommend reserving a whole day for the Summer Palace. It took 1 hour to get there and another hour to get back from near the Forbidden City. And another 3.5 hours there to see half of the park. I didn't pay anything extra. China is amazing!

A very nice tour guide. Probably, a trip to the Forbidden City will be more interesting with a guide, because you can learn about those few details in the palaces and some things (in the photos). And you can enjoy the beautiful architecture while listening to the guide’s stories. (There are no signs with information about the palaces and the square, so without a guide you’ll just be looking at the beauty of the Forbidden City and nothing more.)

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless, and I loved that the disposable toothbrushes were already in the bathroom, no need to pick them up at the front desk. The room was spacious and well-designed. This is definitely my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing! A special shout-out to the bathrobes and slippers – they were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was still mostly Western, and aside from the milk, everything was perfectly to my taste!

The location is excellent, mainly because it's very close to my office, which is why I picked it. Front desk agent Xiao Cao provided very thoughtful service, proactively asking me about my stay when I checked out. Manager Chai was also considerate and provided excellent service, even offering buckwheat pillows. All in all, I felt the service was very attentive and reassuring, definitely worth a five-star rating.

The environment is beautiful, although the swimming pool is a bit small. But it wasn't crowded, which was nice. The room was also very new, and the kids loved it. The bed was large, a 2.2m bed, and very comfortable to sleep in. It rained at night so we didn't go out and instead had the seafood buffet. We even got to scoop our own seafood, which the kids found fun and unique. For the seafood buffet, my child even said that the chocolate and ice cream cake, which came out last around 8 PM, were the best things they ate. The concierge was very thoughtful, helping to receive a delivery, even unpacking it and bringing it up, and also helping with luggage. Getting a taxi to Wangfujing took only 15 minutes, which was very convenient.

After looking at many hotels, I finally settled on this one. Choosing a hotel for a trip is often a headache, and personally, I prioritize soundproofing. However, for this trip to Beijing, I focused more on transportation convenience, so I booked this place from the start. I did anticipate that the soundproofing and cleanliness might not be great. Upon checking in, the front desk kindly upgraded me to a deluxe twin room for free. Surprisingly, the air conditioning and refrigerator in the room were very quiet, and the overall soundproofing was quite good. Coupled with the convenience of transportation – being able to walk to Tiananmen Square and having many restaurants nearby within walking distance, plus a subway station right downstairs – it's a recommended place for Beijing tourists who walk tens of thousands of steps a day. There were a few drawbacks, though. For example, the toilet seemed quite old, with insufficient flushing power, which needs improvement. Also, the hotel doesn't have laundry facilities. The room's balcony gets plenty of sunlight, so I'd suggest adding a floor-standing drying rack.

The hotel was in a great central location. We loved the smart controls in the room which help with lighting and opening the curtains from the bedside. The rooms only downsides were a funny smell specific to our room from behind the fridge and the bathroom door which stuck so hard it needed to be pulled shut and made a lid noise when doing so, some oil should resolve this! Unfortunately when we arrived at 4:15pm from London our room was not ready which was very disappointing after a long trip. We had to wait another hour and go into the city to kill the time. Also everyone should note this hotel has one lift and no stairs, for a hotel with this many rooms this is simply not good enough. The staff use the same lift as does the cute delivery robot. This meant we spent way too much of our time existing for the elevator to down and up. Given we were on the floor above reception this would have been unnecessary if the stairs were accessible. This was a major issue for us and was the only thing that spoiled the stay. Other than this all was great.

This hotel left a fantastic impression on me. Its location is superb, just a one or two-minute walk from the Chongwenmen subway exit. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, making it convenient for shopping and dining. Attractions like the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and Wangfujing are only about a 20-minute walk away. The lobby has a very chic, Shanghai-style concept, and the night bar is perfect for socializing and relaxing. The breakfast offered a refined and extensive selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and there's even a separate bakery. The guest rooms were impeccably clean, and the mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The latex pillows were the absolute best – I slept like a baby [smirk]. The staff were friendly and approachable, patiently answering all my questions about local attractions. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the dining environment was well-organized. It's clear the hotel prioritizes guest experience; communication was smooth, and any minor issues were resolved immediately. The thoughtful and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome. This is my second time staying at Peace Hotel, first time was in 2017. This time we stayed at the newer West Wing. We initially had only planned to stay one night but decided to extend our stay and stayed 5 nights this visit. The hotel gave us a voucher for complimentary art workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and so did my nieces. Location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance to few subway stations and just one block away from downtown commercial shopping. Staff are friendly, great breakfast selection, rooms are, clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff are very polite and friendly, they are constantly maintaining the cleanliness and tidyness of the space. We did not get a chance to use the pool, as the day goes by it gets pretty busy with kids, swimming cap is mandatory and can be purchased from the gym trainers. The laundry room was convenient (3 washer, 3 dryer), detergent supplied, but the dryer takes a long time to fully dry so we ended up airing our clothes in our suite. If I return to Beijing again in the future, I will definitely book this hotel again.

This was my first time staying at the Park Plaza. We came because my child had an exam at the Academy of Arts and Design's attached high school. When we arrived, I didn't even realize there was a hotel next door. What drew us in was the parking lot we spotted as we drove by, and it was indeed very close to the school. The security guard at the entrance confirmed there was plenty of parking, and we were impressed to find both above-ground and underground spaces. So, we decided to book a room. The price was reasonable, not expensive at all, and the hotel had everything: a restaurant, breakfast, and a gym. Stepping into the lobby, it was bright, and a pleasant aroma filled the air, immediately giving us a holiday vibe and easing our nerves. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and thorough during check-in. She double-checked our late checkout request multiple times to ensure it was fine. Knowing we were there for our child's exam, she even extended our checkout to 3 PM, which was a very rare and thoughtful gesture. Despite many students and parents checking in, it never felt crowded. The elevators were fast, room service was prompt, and the little robot delivering items was adorable and busy. The room itself was spacious and clean. The first night, the hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot, possibly due to a high number of guests, but the bathtub was very comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. There was a slight creak when turning over, but it was acceptable. Staff were quick to respond to any extra requests. Parking was free after registering at the front desk. Overall, the value for money is good. I recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay.

Summary: Our two-and-a-half-year-old absolutely loved it here, and the adults were comfortable too. We'll definitely be back. Room: The treehouse slide room was a huge hit with our little one. As soon as we entered, they were climbing up and sliding down non-stop, burning off so much energy! When it was time to check out, they kept asking to stay another night. Dining: The Chinese restaurant is recommended; the food was good, and the prices were quite reasonable for a five-star hotel. The buffet restaurant on weekend mornings was very crowded, requiring a wait. It would be great if they could address the capacity issue during peak hours. Hot Springs: The Tang Le Palace hot spring complex has many pools of various sizes, and they were quite clean. Both our child and we had a great time soaking and playing. We went on a weekend, and while it was busy, it didn't feel uncomfortably crowded, unlike some other hot springs that feel like a 'dumpling bath'. Service: All the staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel community has complete facilities, and the main entrance is fenced off with a gate, so the security is reassuring and makes you feel very safe. The shuttle service uses Voyah commercial vans, which are super comfortable! The staff helped with our luggage, which was very thoughtful and attentive. It's about 10 kilometers from Badaling Great Wall, and Shuiguan Great Wall is nearby and not crowded. Juyongguan Great Wall is also conveniently located on the way to Beijing South Station, so we stopped by, making our trip even more rich and fulfilling.

Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.

After booking the hotel, I saw a lot of negative reviews, which made me quite nervous. However, I found it to be pretty good in reality. The environment is beautiful and the air is pleasant, perfect for a relaxing 'lie-flat' vacation, so I ended up staying for three nights. As a five-star hotel, the hardware facilities, room layout, and spatial design are all top-notch. The accompanying gym and pool are also excellent. The gym has water and towels, and a good range of equipment, so I'd give it a five-star rating. The main complaint about breakfast seems to be the small restaurant, but I personally felt the food variety met expectations. The live cooking stations for noodles and wontons were quite tasty, and there were also specialty 'huoshao'. The omelet chef was very friendly, and there were several coffee machines, both capsule and regular. The hot dishes were indeed limited, only three or four, which is a clear drawback. Also, the small cakes common in other five-star hotels were missing. I'd give it a four-star rating, but it's certainly not bad. The Chinese restaurant, however, offers poor value for money. It's expensive with limited variety, many dishes didn't inspire me to order, and the taste was just average. Overall, the dining is a relative weakness. The Jing A beer at the lobby bar wasn't expensive, though. There are many takeaway options, but the robot delivery was a bit slow. The housekeeping staff were very diligent, providing plenty of water and amenities. I was just a little surprised that after excitedly bringing my own tea, there were no tea sets. It was also a bit inconvenient that there were no toiletries by the bathtub. The front desk staff were also fine. The World Horticultural Exposition is right outside, and the complimentary hot spring tickets made it an excellent value. I hope they continue to operate well, and I would stay here again if I have the chance. Oh, and the entrance and exit to the underground parking lot are a bit small, so be careful when passing other cars.

With Metro Line 1 and Line 5 just a short walk away, getting around is completely effortless. Step out of the hotel and turn left, and you'll find Longfor Tianjie Mall within 50 meters, boasting so many shopping and dining options that you'll be spoiled for choice. All your retail therapy and culinary cravings will be easily satisfied. The room itself was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious, bright, and filled with natural light. The floor-to-ceiling window, in particular, offered an amazing view – it was incredibly comfortable just lying there and taking in the scenery. The amenities were comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept so soundly, straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed. Breakfast is also worth mentioning. With a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, there was so much to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. The staff were consistently warm, polite, and genuinely considerate of guests' needs. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and they definitely deserve a big thumbs up! I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at NUO Hotel Beijing. We've been coming here every time we visit Beijing since my child was very young! This time, the front desk staff, Mina, upgraded our room and gave us complimentary executive breakfast on the 25th floor, which was much appreciated! The breakfast selection was small but exquisite, and the service was excellent. There are many kid-friendly attractions around NUO Hotel, and the pool is also very clean. Among hotels in Beijing at a similar price point, the location and value for money are top-notch. We booked a twin room this time, and they combined the beds into a super-king, just like at Universal NUO – a big thumbs up! One minor thing: the walls in room 2023 were a little dirty. Hopefully, they can tidy that up if they see this review.

From the moment the concierge opened the car door, it was clear that Rosewood invests heavily in its staff. The hotel entrance was well-staffed; one person opened the door, another handled luggage, and this level of service was consistent upon departure. Upon entering, the five or six-story high lobby was impressive. The front desk staff who checked us in was a gentleman wearing a yellow tie, and his conversation during the process was delightful and enthusiastic – a great first impression. Stepping into the room, it was evident that Rosewood maintains its rooms exceptionally well. Despite the hotel being open for many years, the carpet was still clean and tidy. The complimentary mineral water has been upgraded to Oravida in glass bottles, which, in my opinion, is a slight improvement over canned water. The room layout was comfortable and didn't feel cramped. Although the building is old, Rosewood's design philosophy is incredibly forward-thinking, making it a standout in today's Beijing hotel market. The bathroom wasn't huge but didn't feel cramped. The bathtub was excellent and spacious, and the water pressure was strong, filling it up quickly. All toilets have been replaced with Toto smart toilets. It's worth noting that the bathrobes are Frette. The mattress firmness and the skin-friendliness of the bedding were particularly to my liking. I believe the gym and swimming pool are the best among Beijing's luxury hotels. The gym space is arguably the largest among hotels of its caliber, with the most comprehensive facilities. The swimming pool is widely considered the most photogenic among Beijing's luxury hotels, with clear water and a three-to-four-story high ceiling that creates an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. Air circulation is excellent, with no dampness or chlorine smell. Compared to these highlights, breakfast was only satisfactory – not outstanding, but it met expectations. The beef noodles were quite good, though. Overall, among hotels in Beijing at a similar price point, Rosewood is arguably the best!

The location is excellent, making dining and shopping very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The night view from the room was beautiful, and the fitness equipment was complete with plenty of space. The front desk staff, Leslie, Summer, Hors, Niky, and Terry, provided incredibly warm and attentive service, even arranging a late check-out for us. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

As an established star-rated hotel, the service is impeccable and very thoughtful; they even aired out the room to remove smoke odor before our arrival. My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care.
