"I have to highly commend you on your staff members, especially Hamal (I'm sorry I hope I have that right) on reception. She is just the loveliest person and such a great welcome to your hotel. We had a food and beverage credit so dined at Tiger and were very impressed with our meal and service. Paid parking was great and secure. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was good. Unfortunately we probably won't stay again as the noise of the road, the hallway, and lack of sound proofing between rooms made it quite difficult to sleep. But I think I'm sensitive to noise."

"Worst 4 star hotel experience ever. Terrible service and non existent management. I am writing this review in absolute frustration. If you are considering staying here, STAY AWAY. On the first night around 10 PM, my room key suddenly stopped working. When I went down to the reception, it was completely empty not a single staff member in sight. I tried calling multiple times, but nobody answered. In the end, I had to wander around and hunt down a staff member myself just to get help. I was stuck in the hallway for over 25 minutes ( it was raining as well) before finally getting back into my room around 10:30 PM. When I finally reached the manager on the phone, even they admitted that someone was supposed to be at the desk until 11 PM and said it was 'strange.' (If they knew something went wrong, shouldn't either the manager or the staff who came back have offered a simple apology for the inconvenience?????? Neither of them did.) When I asked for a partial refund for this unacceptable delay and lack of service, the hotel flatly refused, claiming the issue was "already resolved" simply because they re keyed my room. Re-keying a door after making a guest wait 30 minutes in an empty hotel is NOT resolution it is the absolute bare minimum! To make matters worse, the exact same key error happened AGAIN the very next day. I had to walk all the way down to the reception yet again, and I didn't receive a SINGLE word of apology from the staff for repeating the exact same failure. In addition, They didn't even provide a single bottle of complimentary water in the room. The water faucet was dangerously scalding hot even when turned to the middle position I almost burned my hand. the room had terrible soundproofing and the outside noise was unbearable. Paying 4 star rates for zero accountability, terrible night service, and non existent customer care is a complete scam. Do not waste your money here"

"After arriving in Auckland on the last flight from Queenstown, the airport transfer to the hotel took less than 10 minutes, which was super convenient for an overnight layover. You can check in at the front desk or use one of the two self-service kiosks. I booked a standard room through a third-party platform for only 500, which was great value for money. The only downside was that the walk to the room was quite long. The balcony door in the ground-floor room opened onto a small lawn, offering a bit of a view. The room size was adequate, and the bedding was fairly comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and there's a direct bus to the airport not far from the hotel."
