Chongqing Hotels with Gym

For Teachers' Day, I planned a Chongqing staycation and booked a room at the Akelai Hotel. The lobby had a strong French retro vibe, and the location was excellent, right next to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, with a shopping mall directly opposite, making dining and shopping very convenient. I booked a high-floor river view room. The room was spacious, and the warm lighting was very comfortable. It came with a vanity table, a soft sofa, and a bathtub. After a day of city walking, coming back to a relaxing bath instantly melted away the fatigue. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view. From the sofa, I could see the Twin Towers and cruise ships slowly passing on the Jialing River. Quietly enjoying the river view, it truly captured the atmosphere of a mountain city. After checking in, I went to the outdoor area of the lobby bar for afternoon tea. Surrounded by greenery, I enjoyed a drink while feeling the breeze.

Chongqing Jiefangbei | This bathtub hotel is the ultimate cozy spot to lie back and relax 🤍 I booked Yuexuan Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) on a whim this time. 📍 Super convenient location The hotel is right in the heart of Jiefangbei. Downstairs is the Bayi Delicious Food Street, making it super easy to explore and snack. It's very close to Hongyadong, Shibati, and the Yangtze River Cableway. You can stroll around Shancheng Alley during the day and walk along the river to enjoy the night view in the evening. Xiaoshizi Metro Station is right across the street. No need to hassle with taking taxis back and forth—very friendly for independent travelers and makes getting around worry-free~ 💛 [Hygiene & Sleep Experience: Total Peace of Mind] I'm very particular about cleanliness when staying at hotels, and the room was thoroughly cleaned overall with no weird smells. Those tricky corners and under the bed that I care about most were spotless, with no stray hairs, so I felt completely at ease staying here~ The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bedding felt very cozy to the touch. After walking and climbing stairs all over the mountain city during the day, you get seriously exhausted. Coming back at night and lying down is just so relaxing. I slept soundly through the night. Disposable toiletries, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area—more than comfortable enough for a daily stay~ 🧺 [Fully Equipped | Super Relaxing Stay] The whole room features smart voice control. You can have Tmall Genie play music 🎶 while taking a bath to unwind and enjoy yourself. Turning on lights and adjusting the AC are super convenient—simple and hassle-free~ I abso-lute-ly love the bathtub in this room! Every casual snap looks like a blockbusting photo. When you visit Chongqing, your legs get sore from walking. Coming back to the room at night for a hot bath with a small glass of red wine 🍷, all the fatigue from the day just melts away—a great way to decompress~ The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the mountain cityscape and the bustling pedestrians below. Soaking in the tub while listening to music 🎶 and looking out the window creates such a wonderful, cozy vibe~ An extremely satisfying stay. Considering the prime location in Jiefangbei, I'm more than content with this experience~

We had a wonderful stay at UrCove by Hyatt Chongqing and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. The hotel is modern, clean, and offers excellent value for money. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful city view at night. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming., hey were patient, helpful, and always made an effort to assist us. The location is also very convenient. It's just a short ride to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and other popular attractions, with plenty of local food options and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

I discovered the most beautiful mountain hot spring in the foggy city at Bolian. It's a secluded paradise hidden within the thousand-year-old Beiquan hot spring, featuring private villa hot tubs. You can soak in ancient springs with the sound of the river as your lullaby, where Zen and nature intertwine. The endless river views transform your days into a leisurely vacation poem. Owen's service was also incredibly attentive. It's my top choice for a Chongqing getaway, offering a full dose of healing! ♨️

Extremely comfortable with excellent service. They were very patient and helpful whenever we had an issue, especially Mr. Qifeng from the front desk who went above and beyond by helping us load our luggage into the car before leaving. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and tidy, the hotel facilities were complete, and the service was top-notch. I forgot something when checking out, and before I even walked 300m away, a reminder call came in – excellent service! Plus, the hotel is right next to Jiefangbei, upstairs, and only a 5-minute walk from Linjiangmen subway station. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, super convenient.

I stayed for several days, and an auntie came to clean the room every day, which was nice. The bathroom in the room also had a wet and dry separation, making it suitable for staying with friends. If we had any issues, we could always contact the staff who were very prompt in resolving them. The lobby provided welcome tea, a microwave, and an ice maker, which was very convenient. Most importantly, the hotel's location is excellent, with many attractions nearby like Eling Stack Road, Hongyadong, and Jiefangbei, all easily accessible.

The location and facilities are great, and the front desk service is also very good. The only unsatisfactory part was that after we parked our car, a hotel bellman (bald, wearing a poorly made, ill-fitting suit) came over in a scolding manner and ordered us to move the car forward a bit. I actually understood what he meant—if I moved forward a bit more, the space behind us would be just enough for another car to park. However, his communication style was extremely rude and authoritarian. After we followed his instructions and parked, he just turned around and walked away without saying a word, as if he was gloating over his own petty authority. Can the hotel please train this kind of staff? Actually, when I parked here yesterday, I encountered the exact same situation. The space left by the cars in front of and behind me was very tight—much smaller than the space left today. Yet, no one came out to 'order' the drivers of those cars to move! Furthermore, when I parked yesterday, the car right in front of mine had just parked, and I didn't see anyone coming out to 'order' them around! Compared to the Hilton we just stayed at, this place falls way short.

Genuinely one of the best hotels I've been to, and for the price it's definitely worth it. You are also located near some great food streets and high-end malls/shops. Almost everything is at a walkable distance, even late at night like 3 AM and you could just walk out and get a quick meal/snack. The Hotel staff was super nice, it is recommended to have WeChat ready and some type of translation app. Most of the times they have translators themselves, so no issues with miscommunication. You can also get your room cleaned daily, use the laundry machine in your own room (totally free). It is definitely worth every penny, even the view is quite amazing since we were on the 37th floor. I could keep adding more and more pros about this place, but won't keep it too long.

Stayed at my dream hotel in Chongqing!!! When visiting Chongqing, I always choose to stay near Jiefangbei. It's incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, shopping, and transportation! The lobby has a cyberpunk style, and the hotel rooms are all high up, making every photo a stunner. The room itself is cozy and comfortable, with a children's bed and a baby play area – so thoughtful! There's a smart toilet and comfortable bedding. The front desk even gives out snacks, and the self-service laundry room with a dryer is super convenient. It's perfect for couples, friends, and families. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong!
