SShiguangyouzou007I found a hidden gem of a hotel in Jiefangbei, and it exceeded all my expectations! 📍 The Ark Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) has an unbeatable location, right outside Jiefangbei. My room directly overlooked the Jialing River, and opening the window revealed the dazzling nightscape of Mountain City. The twin towers in the distance glowed with a soft golden outline, creating an incredible atmosphere.
The room boasted a sophisticated minimalist style, with furniture in rich wood tones complemented by luxurious Brazilian stone accents. The Serta mattress was incredibly soft – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. My favorite part was the large bathtub; soaking in warm, bubbly water while gazing at the city lights outside instantly melted away all my travel fatigue.
The hotel's public areas are also incredibly stylish. The dark-themed lobby with its crystal chandeliers and vintage sculptures makes for a perfect high-end photo op. And the beef brisket noodles for breakfast were so fragrant, especially with a freshly fried soft-boiled egg – a perfect way to power up for a day of exploring Mountain City. Being within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong made getting around super convenient!

The room environment is great, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the best part is having a washing machine and dryer, which is super convenient. The front desk is on the 25th floor, offering river views at any time, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I come back again, I'll definitely choose Espace again.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! It's just three levels up from Jiefangbei, and on the ground floor, it's right by the river, next to Daijia Alley, Hongyadong, and Qianfo Mountain Bridge. Within 500 meters on the ground level, you can reach Kuixing Building, and another 500 meters up on the third level gets you to the Cableway North Station and the Eye of the Sky observation deck. Most of the core attractions in Yuzhong are within walking distance.
The service is warm and friendly, and the facilities are well-equipped. They even leave the HDMI input unlocked on the TV, which is a rare and thoughtful touch. This hotel is truly excellent, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

GGuest UserPros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout.
Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair.
Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

XXiaojinguiThe hotel is right outside Jiefangbei, and close to popular attractions like Hongyadong and Shibati. The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away. The front desk staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a family room for free. They even offered a late checkout until 2 PM. Any requests we had were promptly addressed. The 29th-floor restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, and there's a free laundry room which is very convenient. You can also enjoy the night view from there. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite good, surrounded by attractions, making it very convenient to visit Kuixing Tower and Daijia Lane. There are also many shopping malls nearby. Given the recent hot weather in Chongqing, the hotel thoughtfully provided an ice machine and ice water in the mini-fridge, which was incredibly considerate. The toiletries in the room were also well-stocked, including body lotion, shampoo, and shower gel.
The location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere, and the price is fair. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, especially the breakfast. The dining area offers a great ambiance with river views, and there's a wide variety of food. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff were very friendly, responsive, and quick to resolve any issues. They were always there to help with whatever I needed. A special thanks to the front desk for helping me sign for and return a Pinduoduo package – that was truly thoughtful!
The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to Jiefangbei and other popular attractions, making getting around super easy. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserMy stay at Le Méridien Chongqing, Nan’an was excellent. The hotel's overall ambiance is tranquil and elegant, with tasteful soft furnishings that add a touch of quality. The public areas are meticulously maintained and organized. The front desk staff were warm and efficient; Freya, in particular, made the check-in process smooth and even introduced the AI voice guide, which was a thoughtful touch. Room service was prompt, and the attention to detail made me feel very comfortable. The room layout was well-designed with plenty of natural light, and the facilities were well-maintained. The bedding was dry and comfortable, and the toiletries were of good quality. The hotel is centrally located in Nan’an, making transportation convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. The heated pool had ample opening hours, perfect for some relaxation. Parking was very convenient for those driving, ensuring a worry-free trip. The service was superb! I highly recommend staying here.

GGuest UserThis stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment's location is superb, offering beautiful river views, and getting to major attractions is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were polite and thoughtful, even proactively offering us a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was plentiful, and the room was cleaned daily. The hotel has an underground garage with free parking. After checking out, we accidentally left a power bank in the room, and the staff promptly called us to let us know they found it and kept it safe for us. The room was comfortable, and the service was warm and responsible. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing!
