GGuest UserThis was my sixth visit to Chongqing, and each time I try to experience a different type of hotel. This time, I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing, primarily to enjoy their club benefits. My entire stay was nothing short of perfect, deserving a full five-star rating. The hotel's thoughtful service and the excellent experience at the Executive Lounge were particularly impressive and made me feel incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located in the riverside district, within walking distance of the IFC shopping mall, the Grand Theatre, and the riverside promenade. Even destinations like Jiefangbei and Guanyinqiao are just a 10-minute drive away.
The service was exceptionally professional and warm. From the moment I arrived, staff members proactively approached to help with luggage, guided me through the check-in process with constant smiles, and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities and services, addressing me by name with precision and warmth. During my stay, requests were handled with remarkable speed; when I called the front desk for extra towels and a bathtub liner, they were delivered to my room within minutes, with a gentle and polite demeanor. When leaving for a taxi, staff would spontaneously ask if I needed assistance and even helped adjust the front seats of the car after I got in – these thoughtful details truly highlighted the quality of service. Check-out was efficient and seamless; staff proactively inquired about my stay and even prepared a small farewell gift. The entire process was smooth, without any waiting, making the whole trip incredibly pleasant and hassle-free. The only minor point regarding service was a lady standing by the elevators who seemed out of place compared to all other staff. I was never sure what her role was; she always had a rather aloof expression. Occasionally, she would specifically press the elevator button for one or two people, but not for everyone. In any case, I never saw her press the elevator for me or greet me during my numerous trips up and down.
The Executive Lounge was an unexpected highlight of this stay. The space was quiet and elegant, with a simple yet grand design. Though not very large, it exuded luxury. The lounge offered exquisite meals for four periods outside of breakfast. For afternoon tea, given it was close to Christmas, the snack boxes were adorned with Christmas decorations, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. The evening cocktail hour was also à la carte, with a self-service bar for drinks. The unagi rice and chicken skewers were particularly noteworthy. The lounge service was equally attentive and thoughtful; staff would promptly replenish food and drinks, clear tables, and proactively ask if I needed anything, even thoughtfully providing a phone stand for us. They spoke softly throughout, making it a perfect choice whether you're relaxing alone or gathering with friends. Additionally, the breakfast spread was rich and varied, with hot dishes, cold cuts, desserts, and freshly squeezed juices all available, and the taste was consistently good.
Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations. The excellent service and outstanding Executive Lounge experience added an extra layer of enjoyment to my Chongqing trip. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing!

GGuest UserMalaysian friends, you HAVE to check this place out! 🥳🥳 My friend highly recommended it after their stay, so I decided to give it a try too, and the entire experience was fantastic! 👍🏼 A big thank you to the front desk staff for taking such good care of us during our stay; their service was so thoughtful, it truly felt like coming home ☺️. We visited during winter, and all rooms use central air conditioning for heating. However, as Malaysians, it's really hard for us to sleep without air conditioning or a fan 🥲. Luckily, the hotel provided us with an electric fan, which allowed us to sleep comfortably and cool 🥰. I loved the beds and pillows in the room – they were just right, not too hard and not too soft! 💯 The bathroom also has a wet/dry separation and a smart toilet 🚽, which is a huge plus for Malaysians! 🤩 If you like ordering takeout back at the hotel, there’s even a special box in the room for takeout trash! 😍 We usually put our takeout waste in the box and place it outside the room 😗. The next day, the cleaning staff would take care of it for us 🥰. This concept is brilliant! It keeps the room tidy and clean while preventing odors and insects, etc. 😄 I have to give it a huge thumbs up! 👍🏼 The hotel also offers many other thoughtful services (self-service laundry + dryer, gym, free luggage storage 🧳, parcel collection 📦, etc.). If you love local delicacies, there are plenty of food stalls downstairs (guoba potatoes, sweet soup, BBQ, Chongqing noodles, fruit shops, fried noodles, fried rice, etc.). If you're looking for a hotel that is: - Clean and tidy - Has spacious rooms - Is conveniently located for various attractions (Hongyadong, Shibatang, Yangtze River Cableway, Luohan Temple, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, etc.) - Has many snacks, noodle shops, and convenience stores downstairs Then this hotel should be your top choice! 👍🏼 That's all for my review. 11100024681The room was spacious with ceilings estimated to be over 3 meters high, making for a very comfortable stay. It was fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, and dishwasher, truly making it suitable for even a ten-day or longer stay.
Thanks to a Ctrip discount, the hotel even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed scenic room. At first, I thought it would be two single beds, but it turned out to be two large beds! The night view from the large curved window on the 25th floor was absolutely stunning!
The hotel's location is also excellent, just a 6-7 minute walk from Jiefangbei, making transportation very convenient. It truly is a hidden gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Pavilions and terraces are scattered tastefully amidst lush trees, creating a picturesque scene of mountains and water. The private hot spring in the room is clean and hygienic, and Owen provided very attentive service. My stay was excellent. I'll definitely come back again! The private hot spring in the room truly exceeded my expectations; the water was refreshed daily, making it very clean and private. The only area for improvement would be to address the traffic congestion for vehicles entering and exiting during peak hours.

It's also really easy to get to other attractions from here, basically in the center of everything. Great value for money! It's located in the heart of the central business district, within walking distance of the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The lobby, with its red and black color scheme and artistic decor, is grand and picturesque. The guest rooms are spacious with high ceilings. You can often snag a large room for just over 400 RMB, and during peak season, they frequently have surprising packages, with consecutive stays even including dining vouchers and experience benefits. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing. The double vanity design was super practical, and the bedding was so soft it made you want to just stay in bed. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool at a comfortable temperature and a well-equipped gym. The free parking also alleviated any travel concerns. The biggest surprise was the dining; the 99 RMB Chinese buffet offered dozens of dishes like spicy rabbit and crispy shrimp. The seafood was fresh, and the desserts were outstanding, completely exceeding expectations. The location is superb, with the subway entrance practically at your doorstep, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The service is warm but not intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
