Bow View Lodge ★★★
"Great value for money. Easy stroll to ski bus stop and the town centre, but a quiet, secluded location. Our room was very clean and spacious. Coffee and tea making, plus fridge, tv etc... were fine and a microwave was available in the hallway. The room was warm, however difficult to control the room temp and unfortunately an air con vent was always on and not controllable. Therefore a background noise all the time. The decor was also a little dated. However, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the next door hotel provided a smart pool and sauna area, as well as a great restaurant for breakfasts. Overall a good experience and would definitely consider staying again."
Banff International Hostel ★★★
"The location is excellent — 5/5 for being so close to downtown Banff and easy access to shops, restaurants, and transit. However, the price felt a bit steep. Paying $95 for just a bunk bed seems too high."
Banff Aspen Lodge ★★★
"Lodge is in an excellent location with the main street just 5 mins walk. Room was very clean, spacious and bed comfortable. A beautiful property with carpark in the property."
Mount Royal Hotel ★★★
"Great location with parking. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the price was a bit on the expensive side. Being right by the road, there was some outside noise, but it wasn't disruptive."
HI Banff Alpine Centre - Hostel ★★
"Staff was so nice and welcoming"
Otter Hotel ★★★★
"The room near the elevator was quite noisy. The vent in the room was also very loud and couldn't be turned off completely. There were no slippers in the room, but you could call the front desk for toothbrushes and toothpaste. The complimentary coffee from the front desk was decent. However, you could see into rooms in the building behind from our balcony, so privacy wasn't great."
The Rundlestone Lodge ★★★
"Very happy stay ! Will prefer for friends and family even co workers"
Peaks Hotel and Suites ★★★
"Located in the city center, it has underground parking, and many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores are nearby, making it very convenient."
Hotel Canoe & Suites ★★★★
"We had a great time at Canoe. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. Soaking in the hot tubs were a great way to relax after a long day. It was easy to find parking (at least during the winter when we went) and a multi-day bus pass is provided if you don’t want to drive or walk to downtown Banff. Only complaint is that the heater/AC unit is below the window and the air would hit the occupants of the bed closest to it. We worked about it by blocking the air with a chair."

Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa
"Lovely hotel walking distance to downtown Banff Have stayed here many times over the years, and its charm has never changed. The keg is on site and offers a great breakfast or steak in the evening"
Banff Inn
"Clean and neat cozy hotel, great for family short staying, nice view from balcony"
Royal Canadian Lodge
"Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean rooms, hotel undergoing renovations."
Moxy Banff
"I recently traveled to Banff with six friends and stayed in a family room at the Moxy Hotel. Overall, it was a great experience! The room was spacious, with a youthful and vibrant design, perfect for friends or small groups. The atmosphere was great! 👍 However, one minor drawback was the lack of a door lock in the bathroom, which might be slightly inconvenient for larger groups. I hope the hotel can improve this in the future. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling with friends!"
Canalta Lodge
"A very nice place to stay with a decent breakfast"
Moose Hotel and Suites
"Having visited Banff multiple times, this is always my go-to hotel when staying in town. It's located right on the main road into town, making parking and walking around incredibly convenient! In winter, a dip in the rooftop 'hot springs' is an absolute must – it's a unique experience."
Samesun Banff
"It was first time to stay 'hostel', but really was nice. It was clean and comfortable. Thanks to Samsun Banff, my trip was very nice and I enjoyed!"
Fairmont Banff Springs
"I requested the amenities every time and they won't bring them in one time. I need to call them couple times. I won't stay this hotel anymore"
Buffalo Mountain Lodge
"Room was in excellent condition as was the bathroom. Room was very large with a king bed, two large sitting chairs in front of a wood burning fireplace and a separate desk area. Restaurant had interesting signs and was very good. The Inn is a little far from Banff center to be able to walk there."
Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection
"Check in at 5 or 6 pm and you can see the golden mountain in the sun, but the hotel facilities are not as many as expected"
Charltons Banff
"It's a nice hotel. But the rooms are not very sunny."
Banff Park Lodge
"Room was clean, awesome that there was a separate sink and fridge area. Not noisy despite the road works going on nearby - hotel was very considerate to inform us in advance and provide a white noise device (which we didn’t have to use). The only downside I think was the limited wardrobe space - there was hardly enough space for 2 to hang up their towels, clothes and jackets; much less the 3 of us."
Red Carpet Inn
"This hotel is an excellent value for the location and price. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable, amenities are as described. You need to check in next door, but this isn’t inconvenient. The hotel allows you to use the free underground parking until 4pm on day of checkout, which is excellent. I’ve stayed here before and will be returning."
Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets
"Expensive. It's not just this hotel, but you really shouldn't come to the Canadian Rockies in the summer. It's too expensive. It's insane. Banff still has Airbnbs, which are definitely cleaner and cheaper. I'd recommend those instead. The great things about this hotel are the pool and the kids' area. They're fantastic. If you're a family, maybe it's worth staying for one night. But the changing rooms are dirty."
