GGuest UserThis hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the smell of the construction work was noticeable coming through the central air conditioning. The washing machine was incredibly dirty and coin-operated. Despite this, I really needed to do some laundry during my trip, so I spent a long time scrubbing both the washing machine and dryer. It was clear these machines had never been properly cleaned, and the amount of grime I wiped off was truly disgusting.

The room itself was quite clean except that as soon as we entered, there were flies including fruit flies… Other than that, the room was big and warm. It had a keep safe too.
The washroom was quite small, it was hard to close the door but it worked out.

I like neat things, so I reviewed this place before choosing one, and there were many reviews that this low-grade hotel is old and old. However, the view of the hottop was wonderful, and I was very satisfied with the hotel. They constantly provided firewood for the fireplace, and even the staff were all wonderful. I called early check-ins, but the kind staff allowed me to enjoy this hotel a lot quicker! Hotel with lots of favor! Of course, if you want a nice new hotel these days, everyone except us will feel like they are old, but we wanted this country style! The microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and fireplace were the best enough here! So I enjoyed the great service until I left the room. Ed ex

GGuest UserI was a little worried because it was a motel, but it was very clean and comfortable.
The room was warm and suited Banff, and the bathroom was clean. I usually bring my own shampoo, but I tried this one, which seems to be a Rocky Mountain brand, and was surprised how well it worked on my hair!
There were plenty of cups, but no cutlery, so people who eat in their rooms will need to bring their own.

You can see the snowy mountains and robes will appear from time to time outside the balcony👍. The service is also very good. The guy at the front desk will help take the luggage to the room.

From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff.
The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals.
The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes.
What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort.
I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

When I got there I realized it was only a 5-minute drive.
Instead of walking for five minutes.
The room was very old and smelled of burning wood as soon as you entered.
Very uncomfortable.
There were bugs in the room.
The bed is hard and the sofa bed is uneven
The pool water was dirty.
The outdoor facilities were nice and clean.

日日日旅行The big bed is enough for two people to sleep. If there is anything that needs the staff to bring it up, it is very fast and deal with things immediately. The location is at the end of Banff Avenue. It takes ten minutes to walk to the 8X bus stop (central area), which is convenient, but the price is much cheaper and it is highly recommended. The only thing is that there is no hot water, and there is no water to provide. You have to buy water yourself and go to the supermarket for ten minutes. There is a microwave oven and a hairdryer.

GGuest UserThe location was right at Banff Ave. Hotel has free parking, so I can explore downtown without any concerns. The room is sufficient. And the staff were just so sweet to celebrate our honeymoon with us. We are thankful for that. Highly recommend.
