I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in May and had a good experience, so I re-booked the same hotel for another business trip in July. However, this time the service was exceptionally bad.

When I booked the hotel on July 8th, I specifically requested two separate beds. Five minutes later, I received confirmation from the hotel acknowledging our request. On July 14th at 7 PM, we arrived at the hotel to check in, and they told us there were no twin rooms available and expected two grown men to share a king-sized bed. Isn't that ridiculous?

We immediately called Ctrip to mediate, but the communication was fruitless. The hotel refused to switch us to a twin room, citing full occupancy. They then suggested we add an extra bed (for 1177 THB per night, which is about 240 RMB). They also said that our request was 'subject to availability' and if they had it, they'd provide it, but if not, there was nothing they could do.

What kind of excuse is that? We clearly stated our request when placing the order, and when you confirmed my booking, it implied you understood this requirement. Hotel bookings are made with prior knowledge of requests, not with a last-minute 'subject to availability' clause. If you couldn't provide it, you shouldn't have confirmed my order in the first place.

It was clearly the hotel's mistake, yet they wouldn't switch our room and expected the customer to bear the extra cost for an additional bed due to their error. Since our booking was non-refundable and it was late, we didn't have time to find an alternative hotel.

Ultimately, we ended up paying an additional 4708 THB / 960 RMB (for 4 nights). Ctrip eventually reimbursed us for the extra bed, but the hotel's behavior was completely outrageous and frankly disgusting.

1. The location is excellent, right next to a BTS station and connected to Century Movie Mall. Across the BTS station, there's a Lotus supermarket and a night market. Just two blocks down from the hotel, there's a street full of massage parlors and a Big C. The location is truly superb.

2. The cleanliness of the room was very satisfying. The air conditioning was cold enough, and the shower water pressure was good, though it's a pity there was no bathtub. Disposable toothbrushes were provided, but you need to bring your own comb. The walk-in closet was well-situated. The room had triple-prong outlets, and the bedside table featured a Bluetooth speaker alarm clock with USB ports 👍🏻.

3. The gym facilities are comprehensive, and the area is very clean. The pool is a bit small, but there's ample space for sunbathing, and a bar nearby where you can order drinks.

4. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, but the selection of food was rather limited, and the taste was just average. If you have to pay extra for it, I'd suggest opting for other dining options.

The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy, but it felt a bit out of the way. The pool was reserved for private events after 6 PM, so we couldn't use it. There's a mall downstairs, but they don't sell swimsuits, so you'd have to go to a larger mall to buy one 😂. There's a bar on the rooftop, but the night view isn't anything special.

This is a good hotel in a very nice location, with plenty of good food options nearby. Superstores are located just behind the hotel, and the metro station is very close. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had a wonderful 8-night stay at Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well maintained.

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food, and the menu changed regularly during my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping my room spotless every day.

Special thanks to Mahmood and Maya at reception, and Noemi and Robert at the restaurant for their friendly and helpful service. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I stayed this hotel for 3 nights with my family, the service here is excellent. I rent a car for this trip and they offered valet parking service.  The hotel is closed to the monorail station but I haven't take the rail transportation this time, its overall in a good location with easy access to many tourists points in Dubai.  The room is big and buffet breakfast is excellent too.

Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club has a trendy and vibrant atmosphere, with a beautiful beachfront setting and a great location near shops and food places in Chaweng. The room was comfortable, clean, and stylish, and the overall stay felt relaxing and enjoyable.

A special thank you as well for the complimentary birthday room decoration and birthday cake prepared during my stay. It was a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday feel extra memorable and heartwarming.

One issue we encountered was that the iron provided was stained and unfortunately damaged my new blouse while ironing. However, I appreciated that the team tried their best to provide service recovery and assist with the situation professionally and politely.

Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, and we truly enjoyed the experience at the hotel.

My stay at Avani+ Samui Resort was excellent and incredibly relaxing from start to finish. The overall atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and beautifully designed, making it easy to truly unwind.

The pool villa is a perfect choice for couples looking to enjoy a private and romantic hotel stay. It offers great comfort, privacy, and a serene setting that makes the experience feel special and intimate.

The service throughout the resort is absolutely top-notch. My expectations were already high, but the staff went above and beyond and truly exceeded them. Every interaction felt professional, warm, and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend Avani+ Samui Resort for couples or anyone seeking a high-quality, relaxing luxury getaway.
