Excellent experience. The front desk had a very gentle and polite lady who kindly recommended suitable upgrade options for us. She explained everything in detail without being pushy, and her friendly and natural demeanor made our check-in very pleasant! The upgraded room was reasonably priced, the environment was fantastic, and the breakfast was incredibly rich. We're already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

Great service! Arrived quite late at night but bellboys were available to help me with my baggage. Checking in was smooth however I would say description that listed what services were included with the room was a bit confusing, trip.com said we get access to the lounge but then concierge said because of the plan we chose, we don’t. 
My birthday is in January and they arranged cake, chocolate and wine for us the next day! the fact that they noticed this detail and arranged this was very touching and nice of them! Housekeeping staff were marvellous, especially Summer on the 7th floor. She did a great job, she was very careful with our personal belongings, detail oriented, and attentive. Made our stay wonderful, very warm.

I chose this hotel for two reasons: 1) It's in Harbour City, close to China Hong Kong City, making transportation incredibly convenient. 2) It's rare to find single beds in Hong Kong city hotels that are 1.35 meters wide, which is what they offer in their twin rooms.

The hotel as a whole is clean, but it's definitely old. The half-height window makes the room feel even darker. The internet speed is fine, but the bathroom has two major drawbacks: the shower and bathtub are combined, so you have to stand in the tub to shower, which isn't very senior-friendly. And the hairdryer (I forgot to take a picture) has such low power that its functionality is negligible; it's only there to show the hotel 'provides' one 😮💨. If you plan to stay here, definitely bring your own hairdryer!

The location is fantastic, right by Yuandang Lake, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The front desk even upgraded me to a room on the 7th floor with a great view. Honestly, I wasn't originally planning on staying here because I was worried that, being an older hotel, the facilities might be outdated and uncomfortable. But my friends in Xiamen strongly recommended it. The room was clean and tidy, although the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned with a bathtub. However, it had a rain shower head with good water pressure. The toilet also showed its age, but for a hotel in this price range, it really exceeded my expectations. The biggest surprise was the Napoleon pastry at their cafe. It was crispy, nutty, not too sweet, and not greasy. I actually think it's better than the one at Lady M in Shanghai. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Xiamen.

We had a great stay at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. The location on Nivel Hills offered a fantastic view of the city and a relaxing atmosphere away from the traffic. The staff were professional and very accommodating throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Cafe Marco, which had an excellent variety. Overall, it was a comfortable experience and we would definitely return.
