The room was a bit small, but it was just my child and I, so it actually felt quite cozy and secure. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. In a city like Beijing, it's quite rare to find a room with a large window. What's more, the hotel's location is excellent. It's not far from the Temple of Heaven, the Natural History Museum, Dashilar, and Qianmen Street. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The service from everyone at the hotel, from the front desk to the cleaning staff and the restaurant chef, was superb.

This hotel has a parking lot, which is great for self-driving travelers. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so my elderly parents felt very at ease. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. Service attendant #9 was particularly enthusiastic and thoughtful, even giving us a free room upgrade. The service was efficient, and overall it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job — towels were changed and the bathroom was cleaned every day without needing to request, which I really appreciated.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed as a group of three people, and there was plenty of space to open our suitcases easily. The room had three beds, all of which were very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the subway station. However, I used DiDi every day, so this was not an issue for me at all.

Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for groups or travelers who prefer using taxis.

The room was a bit dated. While the staff were quick to verbally acknowledge requests, actually getting items delivered was very slow, and they often forgot altogether. 

Initially, the room I entered had an odor. I went downstairs, and the front desk smoothly switched me to a new room that didn't smell. 

However, that night I discovered the duvet cover was dirty... I called a staff member who said there were no new duvets available, so they could only change the duvet cover. 

On the second morning, I asked for a disposable bathtub liner. It wasn't delivered all morning... When I asked the front desk, they said they were too busy and even questioned why I didn't call multiple times to ask. Apparently, it was my fault for not hounding them enough.

This is a great hotel I booked in Beijing. It is clean and sanitary, and the service is also very good. The 0118 guy at the front desk is very nice, proactive in providing services, warm and polite. The environment and facilities are also very good, and the breakfast is also very rich. The overall experience is particularly good

Hygiene: It was quite clean. Even though the facilities are a bit old, it didn't feel uncomfortable to stay there.

Environment: The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's incredibly convenient – right downstairs are a subway station (with 3 lines!), the high-speed train station, and a shopping complex!

In the evening, we went to the nearby wetland park, which was a complete surprise. It was about an 8-minute walk from the hotel, and the shade along the way made it pleasantly cool. The park was large, with a wooden boardwalk extending along the lake. Walking on it, we could smell the grass and lake water, and occasionally hear birds chirping. In the evening, the sunset painted the lake surface golden, and every shot was wallpaper-worthy. After a tiring stroll, we went back to the hotel to rest for a while, and then went to a dim sum restaurant in the evening (their evening tea was also quite good). This seamless integration of ”eating, staying, and playing” was such a comfortable experience.

The hotel environment is very good, but it is relatively old and arranged on the first floor. The breakfast is okay. The accommodation is OK for business trips, and it is convenient to eat and shop around.

The room was clean and comfortable. The parking lot in front of the door is quite large, parking is very convenient, and the breakfast arrangement is reasonable. The soundproofing in the room is also very good, there won't be too much road noise entering the room.

The hotel service staff are super nice. They will ask questions attentively when checking in and are very considerate. The front desk staff will take the initiative to help if you can't take your luggage. Secondly, the hotel room is very clean. The housekeeper is very meticulous when cleaning, even cleaning the dead spots in the corners. It's very clean, not to mention the hotel facilities. It's a very good and satisfying check-in experience. The front desk service is good, the check-in is fast, the room facilities are complete, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is also very good, and they also provide free late check-out, which is very good 👍👍👍

My stay was great! The room was more spacious than I expected and very clean. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and I slept soundly through the night. The soundproofing on the windows was excellent, so my rest wasn't disturbed at all. 

Breakfast offered a wider variety than I anticipated, with a live noodle station and fresh fruit. The coffee was freshly ground, which was a nice pick-me-up in the morning. The dining area was bright and clean, making for a pleasant start to the day.

Overall, it's a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, and you can tell they pay attention to the details.

I recently spent three nights at Shanshui Hotel in Shenzhen, and overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay that exceeded my expectations for the price. Located in a bustling area near metro stations and local eateries, it’s perfect for business travelers or tourists exploring the city.

What Stood Out Positively:

Rooms and Comfort: My deluxe room was clean, with plush bedding, a mini-fridge stocked with local snacks, and smart TVs with international channels. The bathroom was a highlight—rainfall shower, quality toiletries, and heated floors.

Service and Food: Staff were friendly and efficient; check-in was seamless with a welcome drink. Breakfast buffet had a great mix of Western and Chinese options—fresh dim sum, fruits, and omelets made to order. Room service was prompt too.

One Area for Improvement: The air conditioning was a bit inconsistent—it cooled the room adequately during the day but struggled at night, leaving it stuffy. I suspect the filters need a refresh, as there was a faint musty smell when it first kicked on. A quick maintenance check would make this spot-on.
Value for Money: At around ¥500/night, it’s a steal for the amenities and location. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone prioritizing convenience over luxury. 3.5/5 stars!

(Pro tip: Request a higher-floor room for better views and slightly stronger AC flow.)
