"The B&B is located on the way up Alishan Highway. The owner was very helpful, providing detailed instructions on how to get to the B&B and Alishan by bus. The place smells wonderfully of tea, and the room was simple and clean. Following the owner's advice, I walked 5 minutes to a small tea plantation on a hillside near the B&B. It fulfilled my wish to stargaze at night and watch the sunrise in the morning. The tea plantation scenery was beautiful, and I even got a discount when buying some tea leaves. However, it might be flower season, so be aware that the uphill buses might be full!"

"One of only two hotels located within Alishan National Scenic Area, it's a bit pricey, but the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent, so you don't have to go down the mountain to find food. You can watch the sunset from the observation deck, and they can also arrange a bus trip for sunrise viewing. It's not too far from the Giant Trees Trail or the station. It's definitely worth staying two nights to leisurely enjoy the Alishan experience."

"The environment of Hoya Resort Hotel is quiet. As soon as you enter the hotel area, you will feel relaxed and comfortable. The counter staff are enthusiastic and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also very rich and impressive. This time I came to Fuye because I participated in the Beigang pilgrimage to Mazu in Baishatun, so I really needed a good hotel to relax and rest before continuing on my way. I am very glad that I chose Fuye Resort Hotel, which allowed us to have a good rest before continuing on our way."

"The hotel is conveniently located, a five-minute drive to Butai Port. Stayed for one night and the room facilities were all good. We originally checked in around 9pm, but due to plane trouble, we didn't check in until 1am. Thank you to the female hotel staff for waiting for us! "The hotel's hygiene was pretty good; I didn't notice any dirty spots, and the duvet in the room was comfortable and warm. However, the soundproofing in the room was really bad. I could hear everything from the toilet flushing next door to people showering and even sneezing 😂. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. It's situated lower down among a cluster of hotels and is the furthest from Alishan Station. Getting there involves walking down stairs or a slope, which means every time you go from the hotel to the station or out for a meal, you have to walk uphill, which is quite tiring 😂. Also, there's no elevator, and even though it's only three stories high, those with large luggage should be aware."

"Situated just behind the town centre, it's a small boutique hotel amongst the row of hotels in the town centre. The bathroom & room are renovated so it's modern & comfortable. There's an electric blanket which heats up the bed & should be switched off once it's warm. Surprisingly the room doesn't have heating but is well insulated. There's no shower door & bathroom gets abit wet no matter how carefully the spray is kept in. No point warning that the floor gets slippery."

"We drove here. The proprietress was very friendly and gave us advice on which route to take to Alishan that would be easier, as we hadn't really done our homework 😂. The B&B also includes breakfast and has many adorable cats! 😍 We stayed in a double room. Since it's a wooden cabin, you can somewhat hear sounds from the next room, but everyone seemed to go to bed around 10:30-11:30 PM (I assume, because it suddenly became quiet). That's probably because everyone was planning to watch the sunrise the next day. Oh, and if you want to watch the sunrise, the proprietress will tell you where the good spots are, and they're not far at all."

"The hotel is surrounded by tea plantations, offering fresh air. The rooms are clean and dry. If you want to catch the sunrise, there's a small path about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast is buffet-style. There are no small shops nearby. In the evening, you can order hot pot from the reception, which is quite good. The shower pressure is strong and the water is hot, making it very comfortable."

"Don’t get me wrong f, there’s a wonderful Old school charm about this hotel and the staff are very nice, I loved sitting g down for a fresh brew of oolong while we discussed our future plans. But little thi ga like bins not emptied and having to request clean cups is something I do t want to have to do. Its location is beautiful but you need to plan your trip well as it’s midway through a bus route and getting to other places can mean standing room only or sometimes simply not available (we needed a private car To get back to Chiayi hsr) But it’s a nice place with an old school charm and friendly helpful staff. Do t forget to check out the rooftop area… worth it!"

"I'm very satisfied with this room type~it's big enough! I really like the brands of shampoo and conditioner provided~ The leisure facilities are simply a paradise for children! There are even electric cars for children to play with~ There is also a swing that you can use ~ I really fell in love with it!"
