YYudaosuxiaodouThe service at this guesthouse was truly exceptional, leaving a deep impression on me from the thoughtful care during check-in to the kind reminders upon departure. The suite we stayed in had a large balcony with a hot tub and a small pool, offering breathtaking views of Heilongtan Park opposite and the snow-capped mountains in the distance – absolutely refreshing. The room's overall layout was harmonious, featuring an elegant and tidy European style with ample space. The amenities were quite good; the toiletries were clearly carefully selected premium brands, and the Evian mineral water and Thai Elephant sparkling water in the fridge were a hit with us younger folks. These little details really hit home, and the laundry and drying service for clothes was also a warm touch. We were offered afternoon tea upon arrival (the chocolate mini-cakes tasted great, not cheap quality), and the owner, a lovely lady, even gave us Dongba calligraphy (meaning 'peace and prosperity for the nation,' which was wonderful!). In the evening, we received a sweet goodnight soup (rose and oat milk). Breakfast included cross-the-bridge noodles plus some snacks. Around 7:50 AM, you can catch the stunning 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon – you can view it from the guesthouse rooftop or even from Heilongtan Park across the way. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and I truly hope this sincere and attentive guesthouse continues to thrive!

The free airport pickup was super reliable. The driver contacted us in advance and was already waiting for us at the exit. The car was clean and tidy.
Upon arriving at the Old Town entrance, staff were already there waiting. They transported our luggage by tricycle, and a staff member walked us to the guesthouse, introducing us to its facilities and offering travel tips along the way.
The room was spacious and well-equipped. Both beds were huge, and the bathroom was also massive. It was very comfortable and roomy for two adults and two children. There was both underfloor heating and air conditioning, which was a real plus as Yunnan nights in winter can be quite chilly. The underfloor heating made it much cozier.
From some angles on the second floor, the view overlooking the Old Town was excellent. The panoramic shot of the Old Town in the pictures was taken from there.
Shifang Street, which is very lively, is just a short walk from the guesthouse. Mufu and the Grand Waterwheel are also within walking distance. It truly lives up to the saying, 'step out into bustling streets, return to peaceful serenity.'
The afternoon tea every day was exquisite, especially the latte – I absolutely loved the delicate latte art! Breakfast was served until 11 AM, which was perfect for us 'lying flat' travelers.
There are so many guesthouses in the Old Town, it was overwhelming choosing one, but I'm so glad we picked this one. Highly recommended! 👍

GGuest UserYour first impression of this hotel will be the view. The view from our room was the most impressive view I've ever had at a hotel (view from our room attached). However, there is much more to this hotel.
The owner and staff were very helpful, organising transport to and from the airport, and to local attractions such as Yulong Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge. This alongside suggesting shows and restaurants to visit.
The location is great, a short walk from the very center of the old town. Though the hotel is at the top of a small hill (how else to get the view?) so you do need a bit of energy to walk back. However, this location also means the hotel is close to a gate, making it easy to catch a taxi or didi without much walking through the old streets.
Definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay again if we return to Lijiang

GGuest UserTraveling to Lijiang Ancient Town with my kids, choosing this guesthouse was absolutely the right decision! The biggest surprise was the built-in children's playground – both adults and kids loved it. My child played to their heart's content in the playground, while I leisurely took photos, feeling relaxed and worry-free. The guesthouse breakfast was rich and authentic; the freshly cooked rice noodles in a clay pot were incredibly flavorful and tasted genuine. I ate two servings and still wanted more. The room was spacious and grand, looking exactly like the pictures online with no false advertising, which made for a very comfortable stay. The public areas were huge, so we didn't even need to specifically visit the ancient town in the afternoon. Just relaxing in the courtyard with tea and enjoying an exquisite afternoon tea was enough for a perfect vacation. Overall, the stay was a 10/10, highly recommended for families traveling with children!

YYJ8889The rooms at Anlu were spotless and bright, and the views from the window were absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious too. But the best part, by far, were the managers, especially Star. She was always so warm and welcoming, offering us tea and chatting with us. She even helped us book tickets for the 'Impression Lijiang' show and gave us some great recommendations for local spots. Thank you all for making our trip extra special!

GGuest UserStaying at Dubolin was an absolutely fantastic experience! I definitely made the right choice. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making the entire stay wonderful. The guesthouse amenities are top-notch, with daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and a comforting, rich sweet soup every evening. The rice noodles in clay pot for breakfast were delicious – I was hooked after one bite! There are also two adorable, fluffy cats at the guesthouse, which were so therapeutic and cute. The rooftop viewing platform offers an unparalleled view; you can easily see the snow-capped mountains and the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise, even without leaving the property – it's incredibly convenient for a relaxed stay. The guesthouse also provides shuttle service and is located near a commercial plaza, making it super easy to get around and shop. I forgot to bring something this trip, and it was just a short walk to Miniso and 7-Eleven. This will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Lijiang!

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly, communicating regularly via WeChat to make sure I had everything I needed. The location was great - just high enough to have a great view, not too many stairs down to the main square and not too many stairs back up to a convenient pick up spot just outside the old town.

1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place.
2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned.
3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you”
Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.
