"This was my husband's and my first trip to Lijiang, and we really wanted to stay in a guesthouse within the ancient town to fully experience its charm. However, we were a bit worried about it being too noisy at night. After comparing several options, we chose B&B House in Shuhe Ancient Town, and it turned out to be a really lucky choice; we stayed in a super satisfying guesthouse hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Shuhe Ancient Town. It's quiet yet conveniently located, and also very close to Jiuding Longtan. The room isn't huge, but the facilities are complete and well-functioning: hot water, ventilation system, hairdryer, and dehumidifier all worked perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. The guesthouse courtyard is filled with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, and the hotel's dining and public areas are also very pretty – I loved them. The lady who checked us in on the first day was so warm and sincere; I regret not asking for her name, but she definitely deserves a five-star rating too. She made our first stop a wonderful start to our trip. Grateful!"

It featured comforting and delicious tomato and egg rice noodles, alongside Western-style toast, fresh fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. The balance of meat and vegetables was perfect, and the flavors were light and palatable. Every breakfast was a delightful and satisfying start to the day. Plus, there's a lovely afternoon tea served daily, which was a very sweet touch. 🥰 The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. I could see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the moment I looked up, with layers of clouds swirling around the snow-capped peaks. Below, the lush fields and clear water created a beautiful tableau. We could enjoy this stunning natural landscape without even leaving our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were refined and complete, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff provided warm and attentive service, taking great care of our entire family throughout our trip. Celebrating my birthday at the foot of the snow mountain, surrounded by beautiful scenery and supported by such thoughtful service, created an incredibly atmospheric and memorable experience. This high-quality accommodation made our birthday trip extra special and truly complete. It's perfectly suited for families traveling with children, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang."

"Our family of 4 stayed with Sister Su in late June. She welcomed us with oranges and tea service and helped us settle in with a mixture of English and we chat translation. Sister Su was friendly and helpful from start to finish of our stay. Her fairly priced Naxi style courtyard minsu was so charming from the courtyard with it's tables and swing chair to the excellent two story loft we stayed in. The all wooden house was secure, cozy, quiet, offered a lot of privacy between rooms, was airy in the daytime and warm at night, and really felt like home. We loved the loft as it gave us all some privacy as a group when we needed it. The separated toilet and very functional shower, divided by a sink, were excellent and allowed for multiple people to use the facilities at once. One thing we loved about this residence was it's close proximity to the Old City, without the complication of being IN the old city (where cars cannot enter). This allowed for easy access to taxis and tour vehicles. The residence also sits very near a series of delicious economical restaurants that offered all of the main Yunnan favorites. We would stay here again if we have the chance."

"Facilities: The room has a great design aesthetic and the equipment is quite new. Service: The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive, providing a lot of convenience for our trip. Environment: The rooftop terrace is perfect for chatting, and there are many beautiful flowers. Due to a schedule conflict, I didn't get to watch the sunrise from the rooftop in the morning, but I did see a rainbow in the evening. Travel: It's close to Lijiang Old Town, so you can easily walk to enjoy the food and the ancient town's charm. I was very surprised that it's also very near Black Dragon Pool Park (a free attraction), which has beautiful scenery and is definitely worth a visit."

Since our family had more people, the front desk attendant proactively offered to upgrade us to a family room for free, which was much more spacious. They also provided complimentary breakfast for the children. The room environment was excellent, and they even prepared kids' slippers and toothbrushes for all three children. Any issues we had were immediately resolved, and their attitude was wonderful. We had a very comfortable stay. The fried rice at breakfast was especially delicious, and the multigrain soy milk was very rich and creamy. Facilities: There are also computers available for self-use in the lobby on the first floor, and they are very well-equipped."

"Facilities: The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear the DJ from the plaza downstairs in the evening, and occasionally, crying children from the next room. The curtains don't block out all the light, and you can't cast to the TV. The pool is open from 2 PM to 10 PM. There was no one there when we went at 8 PM. There are showers, but no dedicated lifeguard. Service: All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. They'll even bring your takeout orders to your room. Breakfast: Quite extensive."

There are also plenty of activities for kids, like feeding fish, swans, border collies, and alpacas. The rooms are also excellent, quiet and comfortable, with a perfect blend of Chinese style and a courtyard. The service is even more thoughtful; they provide transfers right to your doorstep. Christina at the front desk was quick and enthusiastic during check-out. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!"
