TTham Hui YingIt was my first time in Lijiang, and I did some online research. Accommodation was the first thing to consider. There are so many guesthouses in Lijiang, and the taste is overwhelming. Finally, for peace and quiet, I chose a guesthouse at the South Gate of the Old Town. After staying, I found the value for money very good. First, there is free parking, which is very friendly for those with luggage. Just a few steps from the South Gate is the guesthouse. The guesthouse's courtyard is elegant and quiet, clean and tidy. The room is simply decorated, with Xiaodu voice control and smart voice control throughout. I stayed two more nights later, and every day there was garbage removal and replacement of daily items—very attentive.
It's just a few steps from the south gate of the ancient city, very convenient to get to the old town, with convenient transportation and accommodation. Next time I come to Lijiang, I'll stay here again.

There are too many things to write, I will choose it in Lijiang in the future, and I will recommend it to my friends, so that I can suffer less!

GGuest UserI have to specifically praise the luggage transfer service! The inn is located near the South Gate of the ancient city, not far to walk, but the cobblestone paths are rough, and suitcases can easily get scuffed. The owner helped us with luggage pickup and drop-off right at the intersection, so we didn't have to struggle with dragging it ourselves. The fact that they helped protect my suitcase really impressed me. The room had great natural light, the bedding was soft, and the hot water was consistent. The owner sent detailed location instructions in advance, so there was no need to worry about getting lost in the alleys. In your free time, you can take photos and relax in the courtyard. The service was attentive and genuine, with absolutely no upselling. Accessing the ancient city through the South Gate is convenient, and this transfer service greatly enhanced our stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

This guesthouse I stayed at in Lijiang really exceeded my expectations! I just have to rave about it! The rooftop terrace offers a direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. On clear days, you can see the entire mountain range perfectly. Waking up to watch the sunrise there was absolutely amazing!
The landlady is incredibly cheerful and enthusiastic. She offered us fruit as soon as we arrived! 😆😆 She wakes up early every day to make fresh breakfast – hot shaomai, steamed dumplings, sweet potatoes, and eggs. The pork rice noodles she cooked were also delicious, sniff sniff! 🥺🥺
The price wasn't expensive, and it included such a substantial breakfast. The room was quite spacious, clean, and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay.
It's not far from the Old Town, and getting a taxi was super convenient. All in all, if you're coming to Lijiang and want a comfortable stay, heartwarming food, and direct views of the snow mountain, I highly recommend this place, haha!

The owner was also super friendly, confirming our arrival plans a day in advance and even helping us with our luggage. There's also a very cute and friendly corgi at the guesthouse that you can pet. The place was very clean too. Definitely the top choice for accommodation when visiting Lijiang!

AAnonymous UserWhat was a bit frustrating was the odor in the bathroom of the first-floor room. It wasn't strong, but it was quite noticeable, probably from sewage backing up in the summer. I hope the owner can improve that... The bed creaked constantly, making a lot of noise when I turned over. The special items I saw when booking, like fruit and flower cakes, didn't seem to be there, and I was too embarrassed to ask the owner... Anyway, the dog was really cute, and that was about it.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking view of the great mountains visible from the rooftop terrace. The sight alone made me feel like I was stepping into a painting.
Upon checking in, I was warmly greeted by the hotel owner, who is Chinese and speaks excellent English. His hospitality and attentiveness immediately put me at ease, and throughout my stay, he went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. From recommending local attractions to arranging transportation, he was always there to assist me.
The accommodations themselves were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every aspect.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the rooftop, the panoramic view of the mountains was truly mesmerizing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of Lijiang.
In addition to the stellar accommodations, the hotel's location was also ideal. Situated in a quaint and charming neighborhood, it was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions. I appreciated being able to immerse myself in the local culture and explore the bustling streets of Lijiang.
Overall, my experience at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the stunning views to the impeccable service, every aspect of my stay was truly exceptional. GGuest UserThe owner is a genuine Sichuan local, incredibly warm and welcoming, just like a family member. As soon as we arrived, they insisted on us trying their flower cakes, and the sweet fragrance instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The guesthouse itself is brand new and located right in the heart of the ancient town, making it extremely easy to find. Just a short walk around the corner leads to all sorts of local eateries and attractions, making it incredibly convenient to return after an evening of exploring and dining. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. The owner proactively contacted us by phone beforehand, and upon arrival, even helped us with our luggage. The balcony boasts stunning, uninterrupted mountain views. Waking up and opening the window to breathe in the crisp morning air, I felt completely rejuvenated.

KK VThis was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel.
I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it.
Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat.
The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value.
In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther.
Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list.
P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.

First of all, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay here because there weren’t many reviews yet. But I decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be the best decision ever! I’m so grateful to be staying here. The place is very close to the gate, making it easy to get a taxi or Didi. It’s within walking distance to the ancient town, and halal/Muslim food is just nearby! There are many shops around, and everything is very convenient. Plus, it’s affordable!
The rooms have heaters and blanket heaters, and the hot water works great. The Wi-Fi is fast, too. But what I think is most important are the incredibly kind and helpful owner and her friend. They are extremely supportive and solved all my problems. They also reply to my messages quickly! I booked something online, and they helped me receive the package. They also assisted with my logistics, which was so helpful for me as a mother of four. It can be tiring to think about everything at once, but they made it so much easier. I’m overwhelmed by how caring and generous these two ladies are. 🥹🥹🥹
They also arranged our trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and we had a private tour just for our family. We were driven in a luxury car, which was very comfortable for us.
This is my daughter’s first time in China, and she has fallen in love with the Chinese people because they are so friendly and kind. We feel very safe staying here. I highly recommend this place! Just ask the owner if you need anything—they will help you with whatever they can.
