"After a lot of research and reading reviews, I chose this place because I really wanted a comfortable night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. I originally booked for one night, but ended up staying for three because it was so good! The location is super convenient for getting around, the place is clean, and the decor has a lovely ancient charm. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful. As independent travelers, they gave us great tips for places to visit and even helped us with our luggage. The morning we went to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they thoughtfully prepared milk, eggs, bread, and cookies for us to take since they were worried we'd miss breakfast. Absolutely fantastic!"

"This was the best hotel experience I've ever had. We're from Jiaxing, Zhejiang, and after landing in Kunming, we traveled through Dali to Lijiang and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff's service was excellent; they upgraded our room and provided free breakfast. I highly recommend the 601 family room; it has a bathtub, and you can lie in bed and watch the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' just by opening the curtains. There's also a rooftop where you can enjoy afternoon tea and take photos. Anyway, it was a fantastic stay. I'm writing this review while waiting at the airport. It was truly a worthwhile trip. Heading home to Hangzhou!~~~"

"The big dog at the hotel is adorable, it's close to the old town, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The location is very convenient, with plenty of convenience stores nearby."

"Yunshu Jingju, nestled in Shuhe Ancient Town, is truly my ideal secluded retreat! It's quiet yet centrally located, with stunning views of the snowy mountains from the window and a lush courtyard. Every step offers a picturesque scene. Facilities: The room is airy and elegant, with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that bring the mountain and cloudscapes right inside. The amenities are exquisite and thoughtful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Service: The butler service is attentive and meticulous, warm but never intrusive, and they can even help purchase tickets for attractions. Environment: Waking up to birdsong, basking in the afternoon sun, and stargazing at night – here, I finally understood the slow and peaceful rhythm of Lijiang. It’s incredibly therapeutic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! I can only say it’s far beyond excellent value for money!!! "The rooms looks quite old, there was some mold in the washroom top too, but apart from that, the ambience, environment, rooftop, services, washing and drying facilities, everything was top notch. If they restore the room conditions a bit better, then it's definitely a 5/5. The location was also quite close and walking distance to Lijiang Old town, and Shuhe old town was not far away. The owner helped me book Jude Dragon Snow Mountain day tour and also I trekked the Tiger leaping Gorge, and he helped me manage a seat for me in a shared van that took me to the starting point of the trekking area."

"Witnessing the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' for the first time was an incredibly moving experience. All the anticipation I had built up suddenly settled, replaced by a profound sense of awe and tranquility that resonated deep within me. All the effort I put in to be here now felt perfectly rewarded. My heart was overflowing with enthusiasm, yet ultimately found this serene peace. The hotel was also great, offering good value for money. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the stay was very comfortable. Thumbs up!"

"Yunnan is truly a wonderful place. Beautiful mountains, rivers, flowers, and plants. The clouds are exceptionally stunning. The room features wooden furniture, making it cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, super comfortable to sleep in. The owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, not only helping us plan our itinerary but also recommending many authentic local dishes. Breakfast every day offers a rich variety, allowing us to try all sorts of local specialties. I feel so lucky to have stayed at this guesthouse during this trip. I'll definitely choose it again when I return to Lijiang. Highly recommend it to everyone!"

"It’s amazing! So relaxing, quiet. We loved our terrace. I wanted to stay a week more. The garden and the details are beautiful and insipiring. The cats sooo cute. LOVE THIS PLACE. Definitely stay here instead of Lijiang. Note that the hotel doesnt offer any services like breakfast or tea. The cleaning was only emptying of trash. The toilet glassdoor only has a light curtain, it’s problematic, because you see the person who sits on the toilet, if you lay in bed, so you have to ask your friend to leave the room if you want privacy."

"Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was very spacious, clean, towels changed every day. You can use the washing machine and dryer on the 3rd floor and the view from the rooftop is really nice! The hotel is well decorated and maintained, and the staff is very kind and helpful. Our main contact took us to a great shop to buy local tea, and they made our stay very comfortable. Despite not speaking Mandarin, we were able to communicate effectively over WeChat. Note that the room does not have a mini-fridge so we you'd have to leave your food in the kitchen fridge in the basement."

If you don't want to bother with planning, this is the place to stay; the owner/manager will sort everything out for you perfectly."
