"The location is absolutely fantastic! It's very close to the ancient town, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle. You can easily explore the ancient town's streets and alleys on foot. My favorite feature is the panoramic terrace! It offers an unobstructed view – looking up, you see layers of distant mountains; looking down, you overlook the entire ancient town with its blue-tiled roofs. During the day, you can watch clouds drift over the mountain peaks; in the evening, you can witness the sunset glow; and at night, the whole town's lights are within your sight. Every photo taken here turns out stunning. The minimalist wooden-style room is clean and elegant, with soft bedding and thoughtful details. In the morning, you can enjoy a delightful breakfast on the terrace, with the aroma of freshly ground coffee mingling with the mountain breeze, truly curing all travel fatigue. The owner is incredibly considerate. Before check-in, they provided directions and offered recommendations for local food and travel itineraries. They were also very responsive to any requests. Being right next to the ancient town, yet enjoying a unique sense of peace and vastness, you don't need to rush through your itinerary. You can simply slow down and savor Lijiang's relaxed pace. Next time I visit Lijiang, I will definitely choose this place again. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Lijiang!"

The accommodation was tastefully decorated and designed. They had bathroom fixtures like Hansgrohe & even provided a Dyson hair dryer. The room created a retreat-like atmosphere, it was very relaxing. They also have a dedicated laundry area. Had early morning activities both days so ended up not having breakfast but the aunty at the kitchen allowed us to take away some of the breakfast items. She was really sweet and helpful. When we arrived, the owner arranged a car to pick us up and gave us a fruit basket, biscuits etc. His hospitality was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. He also arranged for a car to send us off which was very helpful early in the morning. The view from the room was really pretty as you can see the mountain and it overlooked the ancient town.

Setting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

This is a great guesthouse, close to Zhongyi Market and Mu's Residence. Although it's in the Old Town, it's very quiet. There's a small path leading quickly to Changshui Road, making it very convenient for taxis and dining. The 101 bus to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is also nearby. The hotel's biggest advantage is the third-floor terrace, offering panoramic views of Lijiang Old Town and distant views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The two cats and one dog (a Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Maine Coon mix) are incredibly cute; animal lovers definitely shouldn't miss them. The owner and staff are very enthusiastic, helping arrange breakfast early in the morning and planning itineraries. They also help recommend and arrange shared rides and tour routes. Following the owner's advice, we took a shared ride from Dali to Lijiang, which was very convenient and affordable (seriously, don't take the high-speed train, as both old towns are a bit far from the train stations). This was my first time in Yunnan and Lijiang, and I will definitely be back.

The most satisfying hotel of our Yunnan trip! Absolutely fantastic value for money! It's located in Wenhai Village, very close to the snow-capped mountains. It was absolutely beautiful in the morning as the mist cleared. The hotel offers many activities. In the morning, we joined the plant hunter activity and even made canvas bags with the plants we collected – it was so meaningful. Our guide, Xiaobai, was smart and professional, incredibly friendly to both people and dogs. Waking up to see three dogs playing at the foot of the snowy mountains was truly heartwarming. Staying here for two days was incredibly relaxing for both body and mind, but it still felt like we didn't have enough time. Next time, I plan to come during the off-peak season and stay for four days to fully experience everything! One more thing: the hotel's food was delicious! We had all our meals at the hotel for two days. The codonopsis chicken soup was absolutely incredible; I'm still thinking about the taste now.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend, and the experience was simply fantastic. What blew me away the most were the facilities—talk about high-tech! Not only is the whole house smart-controlled, but the attention to detail is also top-notch. I'm a severe neat freak and always check the bathroom when staying at a hotel, but this place was so spotless that even the usual neglected corners were gleaming. The surroundings deserve a special mention too; the courtyard features a Japanese mixed-wood style. Unlike some guesthouses that are gaudy and brightly colored, this courtyard gives off a very chic, understated vibe. The service was also great, feeling like a 1-on-1 butler service. As soon as I got out of the car, I saw a staff member waiting for me at the pre-arranged spot, and they were extremely welcoming. Thumbs up all around!

I booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop terrace, hoping to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain view. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. It was foggy during my entire stay, and I couldn't see any of the snow mountain. 😨 The room itself was very quiet. However, since the hotel is located within a residential building, walking down the corridor, you can pretty much see everything happening in the neighboring apartments. The hotel's amenities and services were quite good. During my stay, I was able to enjoy the Thangka (******* painting) display and afternoon tea. However, the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive, and the staff management wasn't great either. There wasn't a dedicated person to confirm room numbers. The young man cooking noodles was asking guests for their room numbers while preparing their food.

Traveling to Lijiang with kids, staying at this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The Naxi-style courtyard design, lush greenery, and quiet environment are perfect for a relaxing family vacation. Upon check-in, we found thoughtful amenities like children's toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes. The hotel also has a dedicated kids' club where our child could play for a long time, allowing us adults to rest properly. They also offer craft experiences like tie-dye, which was a memorable parent-child activity. I'd like to commend the butler service again – they were very helpful, quick to respond to any questions, and even offered travel suggestions. The hotel's location is also great; it's within walking distance to Shuhe Ancient Town. The breakfast selection was good, with plenty of options suitable for children, and it was very quiet at night, making our trip with the little one very stress-free.

The hotel environment is particularly quiet, there is no commercialization, the noise gives me a big surprise, the room is large, the floor-to-ceiling balcony door is very light, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain bubble pool outside the window is also great, the academy courtyard is very good, there is a tea tree in the lobby for more than 200 years, waiting for a large projection on the roof at night, Ahua has a gentle and caring attitude, and will help in time when encountering problems. The hotel is very suitable for a quiet holiday, away from the flow of people and relax.

The overall service of the hotel is very attentive; the staff are prompt and handle any requests quickly. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The location is very convenient, and the stay was thoroughly relaxing—making it a perfect spot to rest during a trip. I will definitely choose Wyndham Grand Lijiang again next time I visit. This guesthouse was incredibly heartwarming. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, with a really personal touch. The location is super convenient too, with a parking lot right outside, making it easy to get to all the scenic spots. The front desk lady even upgraded my room for free!
