"The host is very accommodating and helpful. We were greeted with tea and fruits upon arrival. They also helped to carry our luggage from didi pickup point to the house. The stay was comfortable. The heater functioned properly. The room was big and as advertised. Theres plenty of space to eat and chill, and store your luggage inside the room. Very clean and the host will top up the amenities if needed. The inn is very close to the ancient town, just need a bit walk downstairs and you'll reach the small river. Theres also convenience store when you go down the road. We booked our jade dragon snow mountain trip with the host. The price is slightly on the higher end, but it was a last minute decision so its alright. They can also help you plan your itinerary for your stay. We went to alot of great place so Lijiang is very enjoyable~ Overall its a recommended place to stay. However, in my opinion the inn location is not suitable for elderly people because theres a lot of stairs."

AAoaoaowuThis was the last hotel we stayed at during our Lijiang trip. It's a small, exquisite hotel that perfectly blends with the surrounding ancient town environment, cleverly incorporating elements of the Tea-Horse Road culture. Horse motifs are evident in the room decor and public area design throughout. It's right across from the InterContinental, and guests can enjoy breakfast there, as well as catch a glimpse of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the InterContinental lobby. Getting around is super convenient. The side entrance leads directly into the ancient town, and it's very close to the starting point of bus route 101 and the Zhongyi Night Market. **Facilities:** The hotel provides complimentary bath bags and facial masks. The double sinks in the bathroom are convenient for separate use. High-end amenities like the Marshall speaker and Dyson hairdryer add a touch of class.🌟 **Environment:** The ambiance is wonderfully antique. We stayed on the second floor; though there was no private courtyard, the view from the window was stunning, with excellent light and visibility. Every morning, we'd open the curtains to see little squirrels leaping around on the trees and rooftops, which our child absolutely loved. **Service:** The service was excellent, and the staff were very warm. King and Lydia were incredibly accommodating, taking care of everything we needed. The cobblestone paths in the ancient town make dragging luggage difficult, but Allen proactively helped with our bags and assisted in communicating with Didi drivers about pickup locations.

GGuest UserI randomly picked this B&B, and it turned out to be a gem! The courtyard is elegant and clean, the room gets great light, and the bedding is super comfortable – I felt completely at ease. I especially want to commend the young lady working there; her service was absolutely impeccable. Although there's no on-site parking, she waited for us at the intersection beforehand and even reserved a parking spot for us in the nearby lot. She patiently explained the best routes for exploring the ancient town's food and sights, and even left the lights on for us when we returned late. Every detail showed how much thought and care she put in. She greeted us with a smile throughout our stay, friendly yet never intrusive, making us feel as comfortable as if we were staying with a friend. Staying here in Lijiang was both pleasant and heartwarming. I've already recommended it to my friends!

It's just a few minutes' walk to the bustling cobblestone streets, yet cleverly situated away from the main thoroughfare's noise. Upon arrival at the ancient town's entrance, a butler will meet you with a luggage cart, effortlessly solving any inconvenience caused by the stone paths. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated traditional Naxi dwelling, retaining its authentic Naxi double-courtyard layout, wooden structure, and blue-tiled roof, all exuding a charming, rustic elegance. The dining experience was another delightful surprise. Breakfast is abundant and refined, featuring individual servings of abalone and sea cucumber, alongside local specialties like 'roujiang ersi' (rice noodles with meat sauce). The afternoon tea is equally exquisite, with Yunnan flower cakes paired with a fruit platter, enjoyed in the tranquil courtyard – simply blissful. This is a highly recommended hotel.

KKelly~One of the most special hotels we’ve experienced in our China trip. 小邰 Xiao Tai was super helpful throughout our stay from arranging airport pick up to nearby activities like Naxi family visits, complimentary photoshoots, campfire experience and mountain sunrise trips. He even delivered the afternoon tea set to our room since we arrived late from the airport! We really enjoyed our stay because of him. The room is super clean and has floor heating if it gets cold. The staff provides water, snacks and pot noodles free of charge every day. Breakfast was lovely especially the noodles and chicken hot pot! You can also ask for medicines in case you experience high altitude sickness for free.

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very good, can be easily located. It’s just next to the Zhongyi market, where you may find the price there is more reasonable if compare with those stores in Center area. The design of the hotel is nice, can feel the efforts they put in to design that. The owner is friendly, help us to carry those heavy luggages to level 2, and offer us Chinese tea at the classic Chinese tea table. This is a great experience staying in this hotel. I would love to recommend this to people visiting this nice place.

DDonn Tan PSI am Delightfully Amazed by this renowned famous Banyan Tree Hotel. It is such a Beautifully Constructed Hotel with West Lake like Environment surrounding with Villas giving you a Big Beautiful Chinese style Garden Ambience. I am lucky to get a Free Upgrade to a Villa with Swimming Pools and Jade Dragon Mountain View right in front of Bedroom with a Garden (many thanks to their front office staffs). What impressed me the Most is all their Staffs are so Well Trained on All the Details Focusing on giving you the Best Services that Anyone would ask for. 5 Stars to their Top Management Direction, Management Implementation, All Ground Staffs Dedication to giving World Class Services. Their Restaurant Foods Quality is also very Good and at very Reasonable Pricing for a 5 Stars Restaurant. Do get their Restaurant Breakfast Package which is really Worth it for their Variety and Good Quality Foods. I will highly Recommend this Hotel for anyone that is Visiting Lijiang as even their Location is Perfect at the Middle of the 3 ancient towns so traveling around is within 10-25mins and away from the noisy busy ancient towns. It's my first time spending so much time and efforts to give this honest review because i simply think the Whole Banyan Tree Team deserves it. Impressed, Amazing, Enjoyable, Enchanting, Great Experience, It's a Only Hotel that I will Stay in Lijiang (i cancelled other hotel and extended another 2 more days in Banyan Tree)

YY2Y2YI chose this place specifically for its spacious courtyard, and it definitely didn't disappoint! The traditional quadrangular courtyard, with its horse-running corridors and corner turns, is expansive, filled with lush flowers and trees, and dotted with pavilions. Every photo I took instantly captured its ancient charm. The wooden carved doors and windows, along with the elegant lantern decorations, seamlessly incorporate Naxi ethnic style into the details. Staying here offers both the authentic feel of an old town inn and the comfort of a star-rated hotel. In the evening, my friends and I sat in the courtyard, enjoying the cool breeze and the scent of flowers, letting go of our travel fatigue. Plus, it's super convenient to walk to the old town for some shopping.

GGuest UserThe environment is absolutely stunning. You can lie in your room and gaze at the snow-capped mountains. The hotel feels like a private estate, with lush plants, its own little stream, and charming bridges, creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere. I particularly want to highlight the hotel's service. I unfortunately fractured a bone during this trip, and throughout my stay, whether it was changing rooms, dining, ordering takeout, or getting around, I received family-like care and assistance. I'm incredibly grateful for their help.

Service: Upon arrival, the staff warmly greeted me and assigned a personal butler who introduced the hotel and recommended local attractions. When it rained that evening, they even called to check if I was out and if I needed someone to pick me up to avoid getting wet and catching a cold. Facilities: The hotel's overall decor and furnishings have a distinct Lijiang flavor, blending seamlessly with the serene and comfortable environment. It's perfect for business travelers to relax and even work on presentations. Hygiene: The room was very clean, and I didn't find many mosquitoes in the courtyard, even with the friendly pets interacting with guests – there was no mess or dirtiness. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future business trips to Lijiang.
