"The most surprising thing about this hotel was its prime location. A large shopping mall is just a 5-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. There are also several local specialty restaurants nearby, allowing you to enjoy authentic local flavors without having to search for guides. The Summer Palace is also just a few minutes' drive away, saving you the hassle of traveling long distances. Although the hotel isn't new, it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The front desk staff (Team 801) were particularly friendly and helpful. They proactively provided directions to nearby attractions upon check-in and responded promptly to any inquiries. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was generally quite good, with a focus on Chinese cuisine. Also, the hotel has its own parking lot, making it extremely convenient for those driving, eliminating the need to worry about finding a spot. Overall, it's a great value and I'll definitely stay here again!"

"We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, but the lady at the hotel still came to pick us up from the parking lot. The next day, after visiting the Mountain Resort, it was incredibly hot. Even though it was past check-out time, she still let us go back to shower, so we could continue our journey feeling refreshed. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a two-minute walk from the hotel exit to the ticket office."

"The Hilton Garden Inn Chengde Summer Palace is perfectly located. It's a ten-minute walk to the Summer Palace, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and there's a gym and self-service laundry room. The hotel is a converted building, so the rooms are a bit small, there are few elevators, and street-facing rooms can be noisy. There's no executive lounge or in-room mini-fridge, and parking can be tight during peak season. It's ideal for travelers primarily visiting the Summer Palace and prioritizing convenience."

"Opened in 2024, the facilities are brand new, and the whole place feels clean and upscale. The location is super convenient, very close to Chengde South Station, just a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast selection is abundant, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly made sandwiches and chicken noodle soup are delicious and very satisfying. Any requests are promptly addressed, making for a very comfortable overall experience. You can't go wrong staying here when visiting Chengde!"
