Pet friendly Hotels in Chengde

I don't usually review places, but I couldn't help but recommend them. It was so relaxing and comfortable here, and everyone of all ages could find something fun. The tent room's facilities exceeded my expectations, with a smart toilet, private bathroom, and comfortable bedding. Bottled water and a kettle were also provided. It was a bit chilly in the mountains at night on May 1st, but the air conditioning provided heat and an electric blanket, so I slept soundly. I experienced the wildness, the facilities were convenient, and the service was just the right amount of friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. I felt the owner's attentiveness and dedication in every aspect, from the supplies to the quality of the food and the design. It was absolutely amazing. It's a great place to escape from the world. There are deer, black pigs, and poultry nearby. You can climb a small hill to the observation deck to enjoy the breeze, bask in the sun on a lounge chair, watch ducks swimming in the water, and see bubbles bursting in the sun. There's also a big, spoiled dog. The cafe is perfect for playing chess and reading. It's a perfect place to lie down and daydream. Falling asleep under the starry sky with the sound of gurgling water is quiet and comfortable. A light rain in the morning brings another scene. The breakfast is simple but delicious, especially the pickled vegetables I pickled myself. I like it here and will come again.

Jinshanling Aranya boasts relatively complete facilities and its own unique style. Personally, I felt the arrival experience was better than Wulingshan Aranya. You have to drive along a small mountain road, feeling like you're halfway up a mountain, giving it a resort hotel feel. The atmosphere calmed me down after arriving at the park. The rooms are spacious enough for families, with plenty of room. The service was excellent; the receptionist, Ms. Sihan, was very helpful, handling all kinds of inquiries, reservations, and coupons efficiently and meticulously, arranging everything even before we arrived. I recommend that if there are performances at the Valley Concert Hall, be sure to book a reservation – it's quite special. The semi-open-air environment was pleasantly cool, with a gentle breeze from the mountains flowing through, accompanied by the sound of violins – a truly relaxing and comfortable experience. Musical knowledge is irrelevant; the emotional impact was undeniable. Jinshanling could definitely utilize this building for events; it would likely be quite popular. Besides Western music, there could also be traditional instruments like the flute, xiao, and guzheng. I also visited the Jinshanling Upper Courtyard; the internal walking experience was quite good. It was a bit of a shame I didn't have time for a tea ceremony. I also stumbled upon a section of the Ming Great Wall, and I heard there's a scenic mountain forest trail that's also quite nice – I'll try it next time. The commercial atmosphere within the park is excellent; each shop has its own unique character.

Stayed here with my kids while visiting Jinshanling Great Wall. It's within walking distance to the scenic area and parking is free. The courtyard is quiet and clean, so we slept comfortably. It offers great value for money, and you can even stargaze at night. The Chinese breakfast is simple, and you can order stir-fries for lunch and dinner. A small suggestion: it would be great to have a mop in the bathroom so guests can clean up after showering.

This time I took the elderly and children to stay at the excellent Pinchengde Mountain Resort Railway Station for 7 days. The overall stay experience was very good. The hotel is very close to the train station, it is very convenient to travel and transfer, there are many snack restaurants around, and there are many choices for eating. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was moderately firm, the elderly had a good rest, the indoor space was enough, and the children's activities were convenient. The transportation location is excellent, and it is convenient to travel to attractions such as the Mountain Resort. The front desk service is warm, the check-in and check-out efficiency is high, and the public area is clean and tidy. Self-driving parking is also more convenient, the overall price is good, very suitable for family travel, come to Chengde will give priority to, recommend friends with family travel.

The Hotel is located at a busy central road. Lots of shops around and a good popular grocery store. The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars. The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet. The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again. The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy. Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

Environment: The hotel is near Puning Temple, about 10 minutes' drive from the Summer Resort. There is its own free parking lot in front of the hotel with a moderate number of parking spaces. Facilities: The room space is moderate and the curtains are fully automatic. Because it is adjacent to the road, it is a bit noisy when vehicles pass by outside. Hygiene: The cleaning aunt cleans relatively cleanly Service: The front desk staff has a warm service attitude. The air conditioner in the room needs to be turned on manually by the front desk, which is solved in a timely manner. I don’t know if the breakfast room is understaffed, but when I enter the door, the aunt reminds me that I need to put the finished dishes into the kitchen waste cart. If you want to eat poached eggs, you need to fry them yourself.

The location of the guest house is just perfect,only 10 minutes walk from the mid entrance of the great wall. From there you can explore the Wall walking east and it’s the best,very few people. But the best thing about the accomodation is the sweet family managing it! The food is just delicious,with huge portions and big choice! The lady also gave me a big help to find a good taxi to go back to Gobeikou. Especially when you travel solo it’ is really nice to see such big smiles and help! I can only recommend it!

This is a nice and clean hotel close to restaurants and shops, and they accepted me as a foreigner without a problem. But it was the very first time on my two year long bicycle journey that I had to leave my bicycle outside the hotel in a car park. I know that China is a safe country, because there are security cameras everywhere, but if something happens to my bike, it might be the end of my journey. The other disturbing thing was that the staff was talking very loud in the corridor at 6.30 am and I couldn't get enough sleep. Please keep in mind that people want to rest and sleep .You can talk to each other in a more polite way.

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

The room was very clean, the air conditioning and warm air were also very good, the boss was really enthusiastic, the photography technology was also very good, the homestay was full of photos of the Great Wall he took. The car was picked up and sent to the ticket gate, saving the cost of the shuttle bus. Next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall, I will stay at his house.
