The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. XXimaokevinThe restaurant boasts vibrant, healthy potted plants, with no dead leaves or debris at the base, and they're on wheels, making it easy to move them for sunlight without leaving marks. The courtyard offers four slow-charging stations for electric vehicles. The parasols have three settings and a temperature display for convenient use and adjustment. The most amusing part was watching their plump geese waddling around the patio after a good meal, looking very proud. The proprietress is an excellent cook; the breakfast noodles are handmade. The owner mentioned that his mother and wife are constantly busy, very diligent, and almost have a slight obsession with cleanliness. It was truly harmonious to stay here briefly. Jinshanling Great Wall is also a place I'd love to hike again.

The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and they offered a selection of pillows to suit individual preferences. The room was generously stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, which were replenished whenever we ran out. The provided tea selection was excellent, and in the evening, we had a complimentary matcha experience delivered to our room, which we could prepare ourselves. The service was exceptional; a dedicated butler was always on hand to assist with any needs. The bathroom amenities were also high-quality and very pleasant to use. All these thoughtful touches created a truly special and refined experience. They provided comfortable pajamas in the room, perfect for wearing directly to the hot spring baths – a truly considerate detail. Overall, my child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We definitely want to visit again.

GGuest UserA truly unique stay at the foot of the Wall! The rooms were clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. We slept the best on the entire trip. It was almost -20°C outside, but it was wonderfully warm inside. The owner gave us great tips for hiking on the Wall. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. The rooms are adorned with beautiful photographs of the Wall, taken by the owner himself. Whatever we needed, they took excellent and heartfelt care of us. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! We will definitely be back 😊

GGuest UserWe stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters.

Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location
I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets.
The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be.
The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot.
Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat.
No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it.
Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

GGuest UserLocation: Relatively superior. There is a river in front of the hotel, which is said to be the mother river of Chengde. It is very beautiful to take a walk at night and enjoy the night view. It's easy to walk to the summer resort. There is a supermarket next to it and a restaurant in the hotel. I eat three meals a day in the hotel. The dishes are rich and the prices are acceptable. I highly recommend it.
Service: The smiling service at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The Chengde travel guide was clearly explained. If you don’t know the guide, just ask them directly. I told them the wifi password and phone number, and if I have anything to talk to the front desk.
Room: Very clean, the quilt smells like sunshine, the bed is comfortable, I slept until dawn
Parking: There is a parking lot and a responsible security guard.
Environment: The hall is very elegant, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It is really good to listen to piano music in the lounge hall.
Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it.

CCocoonersLe jingshanling great wall hotel est parfaitement placé, juste à côté de l’entrée du parc d’accès à la grande muraille. Nous y étions en hiver et en semaine, hôtel était quasi vide, le personnel nombreux était très serviable. Personne ne parlait anglais, mais avec les applications de traduction nous avons toujours réussi à nous faire comprendre.
L’hôtel ressemble à un lodge de grand parc américain avec un grand espace commun dans un bâtiment principal et tout autour des bâtiments de logements.
Les chambres sont confortables.
Nous avons fait un très bon dîner au restaurant le soir.
Le matin, notre petit déjeuner a été servi à table car nous étions seuls. Petit déjeuner traditionnel chinois avec légumes, pâtes, dim sum, bao, …

AAnonymous UserI would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!
