"The hotel is quiet, the sanitation is in place, there is no smell, the toiletries are complete and the face towel bath towel is disposable, which is super love. The room is well lit and ventilated, the service staff is friendly, and the demand response is very fast. The overall stay experience exceeded expectations, the price is very high, it is worth recommending to everyone!"

"This hotel is located right in the city center, with Mojia Street and Shuijing Alley just a short walk away. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs, making transportation very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and a thoughtful humidifier provided. Special shout-out to the front desk staff—they were warm and efficient. As we're on the high floors, the night view is also stunning. The breakfast offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options; the local milk tea and beef noodles were particularly tasty and more than enough to start the day fully satisfied"

"We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers."

"Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff."

The environment is absolutely stunning—clean, tidy, and comfortable. Conveniently located with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended!"

"Pretty good, stayed for a week, and the top floor was genuinely quiet. It's located in a small alley, but there are two malls very close by. The hotel's charging station is also the cheapest around, and there's a gas station just one intersection away. So, convenience is definitely a huge plus. On top of that, the service was excellent. Although the gym equipment isn't as comprehensive as what you'd typically find in a basic Hilton, it's still sufficient for a good workout. The breakfast variety was decent. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"Regarding the extended stay, I'll just briefly add to this review since I already covered it in my previous post. The room was quite spacious, with a convenience store and late-night snacks downstairs. It's right next to Beichuan Wanda Plaza, making it convenient to buy things. The room was cleaned quite well, but there was no air conditioning, and the hairdryer was too weak and kept malfunctioning. The room key needed to be refreshed at the front desk every day, which was too troublesome, especially for guests staying for several days. After all, the hotel front desk isn't on the first floor and isn't visible upon entering; I had to go to the 43rd floor first to get to my room's floor. The front desk service was quite good, so overall it was acceptable."

"This hotel is at the good location . There are bus stop which be very near with this hotel . The bedroom is very clean and very high quality ( 4 stars hotel , AAAA for me ) But the price is not expensive, I recommend everyone to stay here . Thank you for hotel staff . Everyone of hotel staff are helpful , polite and professional staff . I may come back to stay here again in the future if I have opportunities. Because I am very convenient and comfortable , so I am very happy to stay in this high quality hotel ."

"My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!"
