"The location is quite good, very convenient for taking public transport. The room is small, but it has everything you need, and the little balcony is very comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet, as it's a residential area. The room is a bit old, and the hallway is quiet, but the floors feel too thin between levels; you can hear chairs being dragged around. There's no noise at night though. The front desk staff are friendly. You can refill free water daily."

"Very helpful staff and the hotel is clean.
The downside was that it was so much noise in the corridor and I was woken up every time by these noises. The walls are far from sound proof.
There was also no place to hang the towels (even small ones) in the bathroom.
The Smart TV did not work for IOS, no matter how hard we tried with the receptionist.
Price value ration is okay."

"Despite being a 3-star hotel, it's one of the rare hotels where you can receive 5-star service, breakfast, and attention. We extend our sincere thanks to the young lady at the reception desk who addressed and resolved our issues from the moment we arrived; to Antonio and Maddelena, who worked tirelessly in the dining room, keeping the breakfast variety fresh and vibrant, turning it into a feast that satisfied our eyes, hearts, and stomachs; and to the cleaning staff who meticulously took care of our room and addressed any deficiencies. They made us feel more like we were at home than in a hotel. The hotel's proximity to the city center and tram station also makes accessing everything very easy. You can reach the hotel from the train station by tram in 5 stops, and you can also walk to the nice restaurants and sights in the city center. "The staff were incredibly helpful and patient, truly outstanding. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were excellent, and the hairdryer was pretty powerful. This Ostello Bello's bar being connected to the accommodation can get a bit noisy, but they provide earplugs which helps. I stayed right above the bar, and while there was some noise, it wasn't too disruptive. And even though there weren't curtains on the beds, it was still fine."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across the street from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. It's incredibly convenient if you're traveling by train, and you can easily walk to all the major attractions.
Right next door, there's a very famous Florentine steakhouse that's packed every evening. Plus, there's a Carrefour Express supermarket nearby, which is handy for picking up water and other essentials.
The breakfast is incredibly varied and a huge highlight of this hotel. There's a wide selection, and you can certainly eat your fill. The restaurant's design and ambiance are also lovely, similar to a sunroom, creating a very elegant atmosphere.
The front desk staff were quick to resolve an issue. Initially, my room's bathroom had an unpleasant odor. After I reported it to the front desk, they immediately moved me to another room on the spot. This new room was even larger, and the bathroom was more spacious.
Their toiletries are from a local skincare brand, and the soap and body lotion, in particular, are very moisturizing.
On the downside, the bathtub drainage was a bit slow."

"The room facilities were really subpar. The lighting was awful, and the decor felt very rough and unfinished. It definitely didn't live up to a 4-star standard. However, the public areas and service were pretty good. The breakfast was terrible. The pool had a nice view, but it was way too crowded, and it seemed like most of the people weren't even hotel guests, just freeloaders. As a paying guest, I didn't even get a chance to enjoy a drink by the pool."

"The hotel is in the perfect location, right on the Arno. I scored a room with a view of the river, with the Ponte Vecchio bridge to the right and Ponte Santa Trinità to the left. I could walk to all the museums and the Duomo and the train station. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent and the coffee strong. This was my first visit to Florence, and it was marvelous! I'll be back."

"This hotel is super close to the train station, and there's a supermarket nearby, which is really convenient for shopping. It's an old, historic hotel with classic wooden furniture in the rooms and paintings from before 1900, giving it a very elegant feel. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and from the fifth-floor restaurant, you can see the Duomo! Plus, it's within walking distance to all the nearby attractions. "We had a fabulous stay in Florence and the hotel’s location near the train station was fantastic both for when we arrived and departed (by train) but also for the three different tours we went on.
The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel like family, the breakfast was substantial with plenty of options, and the tiny lollies at the front desk were a sweet bonus. Would definitely recommend!"

I originally booked a twin room, but due to some changes, I ended up travelling solo. The receptionist was very helpful and offered to change my booking to a double room instead, which I really appreciated.
The room was comfortable and smelled beautiful the moment I walked in, with that lovely Florence-style diffuser scent. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at c-hotels Club Florence and appreciated the thoughtful service.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the train station and it is relatively close to the city center, but at night it is very quiet without many people on the streets, and in the morning is very noisy due to the trains, and the tram that stops right in front of the hotel. It has a grocery store, a mall and restaurants in its vicinity.
The staff was really nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was top with a lot of varieties!
The room was clean but, it could have some blinders in the bathroom window so it can be closed at night.

MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive.
Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate and well-equipped. It was very clean and promptly serviced.
The front desk staff enthusiastically explained all the details: breakfast, key card, routes to major attractions, etc. I really appreciate it!
The breakfast was fantastic! The lovely ladies on the breakfast team greeted everyone warmly, made coffee, and worked diligently and efficiently. Thumbs up!
On the last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and picked it up in the afternoon before catching my train. When I picked up my bags, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and even told me there was a restroom downstairs I could use. It's true that finding restrooms outside can be difficult!
Ousman, the friendly guy, suggested I write down my feelings and share them with others, just writing whatever came to mind. I think he's right; others might need honest information. I spent some time choosing a hotel before I came, and it seems I made the right choice.

Kudos also to the receptionists, who are professional and very friendly. It's my go-to place whenever I visit Florence, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserIt's in a great location, 7 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Ufutzii Museum, but it was hard to find because there was no hotel sign! I was standing 10 meters away, but I couldn't find it even after walking back and forth, so I asked a nearby hotel staff member, who pointed to a small door and said, ”It's right there.” I pressed the intercom, had it opened, went up to the third floor, and finally checked in. The room was cute, and when I told them I was leaving early in the morning, they were flexible and said, ”I can make breakfast at the breakfast shop and have it delivered the day before.” There was a shower, a refrigerator, and bottled water for the bed. If you leave the room and go up one level, there is a shared terrace with a view of the roofs of the ancient city. If the check-in goes smoothly, it's a great place to stay.

GGuest UserExcellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down.
Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

GGuest UserI stayed with my aunt and my friend for 2 nights recently; we had 3 beds in the same room, 1 single and 1 double. The hotel had basic amenities - private bathroom which was a little small for me and a TV in the room. We didn't notice a kettle in the room but to be honest, we weren't really bothered since we had paid for the hotel breakfast.
The breakfast had small selection of hot food: eggs and sausages were really good. The coffee machine wasn't working properly but the staff did everything they could to provide espressos for the guests. Speaking of the staff, they were so kind and amazing, The 1st staff we saw was kind enough to mark the local/popular attractions on the map and give us some guidance on what to do and where to go. They also gave us this incentive where we all got free breakfasts for the 2nd day after signing up to the hotel account (or something like that). The only major con about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator and it was noisy all morning and late at night so please if you can, ask for a faraway room!
