AAnonymous UserLocation: An 8-minute walk from the train station, but might take 15 minutes if you're dragging luggage. Room: The 6-bed dorm is very spacious, not cramped at all. During the off-season, it wasn't full, with only 2-3 people per night, so it was very quiet. Service: The staff (young lady) was very nice. They offered a complimentary drink upon check-in and free pasta in the evening. The atmosphere in the evenings was particularly great.

TTzkafujikoFive stars! This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The hostel is very close to Florence train station, in an alley. There are two buildings, one for men and a mixed group, and the other for women. I chose a four-person women's dorm, so I was lucky enough to stay in the women's building next door. There are only three rooms on the entire floor, each with four beds, and the rooms are incredibly spacious (the owner could easily have made bunk beds for eight people per room, but no, all single beds! I was so touched!). There's a large kitchen, and you can eat as much fruit, jam, and yogurt as you want from the fridge, and also as much pasta and cookies as you want from the counter. The owner is incredibly kind; when I arrived, he gave me a detailed explanation of the sights in Florence and a map. To be honest, Florence might not be my favorite tourist destination, but the thought of staying in such a warm and welcoming hostel makes me feel wonderful about Florence. The name ”My Friends” is perfectly fitting; I highly recommend this hostel to all women visiting Florence.

GGuest UserThe best hostel I've ever stayed in! Spacious dorms, large beds, huge lockers, and big bathrooms. They provide 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. The place is spotlessly clean, and towels are changed daily. Downstairs, to the right of the elevators, there's a lounge area with a laundry room (washing is €3.5, drying is €1.6), a free water dispenser (cold and iced water available), and vending machines for coffee and snacks. You can borrow hairdryers and kettles from the front desk. There's also a nice river nearby with good views.

汉汉堡啊啊啊啊I'd definitely book this hostel again! The rooms and facilities are fantastic, and the front desk service was excellent. I met some great international friends here. The only minor drawback is that the window soundproofing isn't great, so you can hear outside noises clearly. But hey, we chatted late into the night anyway, haha! And by 9 AM, you'll start hearing traffic. If you bring earplugs, it's a perfect 10! Also, it seems like this place hosts student groups; I saw a large group checking in as I was leaving. If you can avoid those times, it's a great spot! Location-wise, no worries – it's only a 10-minute walk, and for young people, Florence is a small city, so it's not an issue at all!!!

GGoh Wee SiongFantastic location — just a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and all the main attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, giving great local recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, with fun evening events and a cozy common area to relax or meet other travelers. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was simple but nice. The room had a slight damp smell and the air circulation wasn’t great, so it could feel a bit humid at night.

AalinatravellingI traveled as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, only one out of three nights was peaceful. I want to warn others about several management and safety issues I encountered here. On Trip.com, only mixed dorms were available.The platform lists two types of 6-bed dorms: one explicitly labeled 'Mixed Gender' (which I booked) and another generic '6-Bed Dormitory Room' without any gender indication. Since there was no 'Female-only' option, I assumed these were essentially the same thing. I ended up alone in a room with three men, which felt quite unsafe and intimidating. My sleep was constantly interrupted by loud neighbors and the person in the bunk below me shaking the bed all night When I requested a move to a female dorm or a more balanced mixed room the next morning, the staff was unhelpful. They claimed they couldn't move me because I hadn't booked through their website, even though female beds were available!! They initially demanded I pay the full price again for the next two nights. After contacting Trip.com support, the hostel still refused to cooperate. Eventually, a more reasonable receptionist helped resolve the issue peacefully. On my last night, a large group of school students arrived. They were incredibly loud, and it took over an hour after ”quiet hours” began for teachers and staff to finally calm them down. Be aware of this. Cleanliness: Rooms are relatively clean. Self-Service: You must make your own bed, which is very difficult if you are assigned a top bunk. Extra Costs: Towels are not included and cost 1.9€. Payment: They are strictly card-only. Pros: There is free hot water at reception, a luggage room, and the location is conveniently close to the Campo di Marte station. If you are a solo female traveler, be aware that management might prioritize profit over your safety and comfort :)

MMaria MDAmazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry. The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water. Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long. All the best to this place and the team!

FFionFionIt was a very pleasant stay, although I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was just in Florence for one night, breakfast was nice with variety of choices, staff were friendly and can speak English, room was clean, AC was working perfectly, everything including the duomo was in walkable distance (only like 10 mins walk to the duomo). I had to leave the room key to the reception everytime I leave the hotel which felt a bit strange at first, however apparently this is a norm there as my brothers who were staying at another hotel at the time had to do the same as well. Last but not least, you can have a fantastic view of the city at rooftop of hotel, especially nice to see the sunrise! Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, it takes a few minutes to get to the big attractions. But the hotel environment is generally the same, the room is large but the bathroom is very small, there is a smell, my friend's room shower is hot water whether it goes left or right. And the breakfast is very general, nothing delicious.
