Great
XXDLiuFacilities: The room is not big, but very comfortable. The hotel building has nothing to do with Brooks. The interior design is very comfortable. The hotel has two restaurants, Michelin 2 stars! I ordered a dish that was really good.
Hygiene: clean
Environment: convenient. In the old center of Florence, 5 minutes between the Dome and the Town Hall. 15 minutes walk to the train station. Also relatively quiet.

Llc1898Excellent hotel from the historic residence of Garibaldi in Florence in a extraordinary location on SMNovella Square.
The staff were friendly and available, they made us find the baggage in the room and booked the restaurant for the evening.
Very spacious room ( in my case )
and clean, with view of the square
Epoch furniture with personalized sculptures such as palms from old tyres located in the hall.
Good breakfast International

GGuest UserHotel is super nice, clean & new! But I really need to add one thing because I was dissapointed. Even though this hotel is more expensive compare to same standart hotels they dont have anything in the room. No coffee machine which was very important to me in the hotels, only instant coffee. No bathroom amenities. No slippers i had to ask for it, no bathrobe. I mean if you are charging this much you should provide these.

AacfadVery retro hotel, located in the center of Florence, 10 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, behind the hotel is the luxury shopping area, various attractions are interspersed in it, you can go shopping, you can't stop at all. The family room is particularly cost-effective, one door into the 2 rooms can accommodate 5 people, each room has a separate bathroom, clean and hygienic without dead corners. The hotel soundproofing is slightly worse, but the electric curtains are absolutely light-proof. Stayed for 2 nights, the breakfast is very rich and Italian, and the breakfast in the morning is basically European guests. The hotel has been opened in 1958 and should be very popular with Europeans. The only thing I am not used to is that Italian quilts do not use quilt covers, but use sheets directly. I am very worried that the sheets will run away when I turn over in sleep, and I will sleep directly on the quilt. After all, the quilt will not be changed every day, which is a bit uncomfortable.

Pp.pchanSecond time staying at ostello bello. Picked this hostel because of the convenient location. It’s nice that they offer a token to exchange for welcome drink, and a lot of activities to participate.
Some places in the hostel definitely need some upgrade sooner or later… the toilet seat in the dome room shared restroom got a crack on it that definitely need a replacement soon.
Kinda weird they charge me differently for luggage storage (before check in- 5 euro fixed price / after check in- 3.5 euro piece), maybe due to the length of storage, I guess??

YYunyoudebaobaoThe advantages and disadvantages of the living experience are discussed below:
1. The hotel is far from the hustle and bustle and is relatively quiet, which means that it is more troublesome to go to the city center. There will be 3 shuttle buses in the morning and 3 in the afternoon to the city entrance. Of course, there will be 3 return trips in the afternoon (the hotel charges €2.50/trip).
The sound insulation of the room is poor, and sometimes it is even a bit noisy.
The location of this hotel is a bit remote. If you take a taxi to the city, it is basically €23-€35 [I have taken prices in this range. The train station (Santa Maria Novella Station) to the hotel is €32-€35, and the city to the hotel is in the €23-€32 range]
2. The hotel has a snack bar/bar (Snack Bar) with very high hamburger prices. I didn’t eat all day because I was in a hurry to catch the train on the day I arrived. I ordered a hamburger for €20/piece and tiramisu for €10/portion. The speed of serving the food was really super slow. The main restaurant and breakfast are at the same dining place-the dinner menu is relatively small and the price is relatively expensive. It is not recommended. I was traveling alone, so I had dinner at the hotel for several meals (I was afraid that it would be unsafe to stay out too late).
3. The front desk service was generally good. All questions were answered.
4. There is no swimming pool on the cover of the hotel (it has been demolished for a long time). I was attracted to the swimming pool and chose this hotel. However, there is now a waterfall in the open courtyard for viewing.
5. If you don’t drive yourself, I don’t recommend you to stay at this hotel because the transportation is inconvenient and you basically can’t avoid the need to take a taxi unless your daily itinerary is completely based on the shuttle bus pick-up time. Of course, if you don’t care about that little money, please feel free to do so~
GGuest UserPros: great location, just a few steps from a few must see of the city. Cons:the noise of morning workers cleaning or making deliveries in the morning (7-8am) and tourist making their way through the alleys and streets to or from hotels, bar, etc. will carry to tour room... maybe disrupting your sleep. Also, if you're going to arrive after the reception closes it can get tricky or stressful as you have to reach out an on-call reception person (in my case it took 3 dials in to hear from them, I got delayed 20min. on the road and the person left and have to call again). The lock of my room and for the constant slamming of doors rooms seem to be a bit tricky to operate. Finally, the safe in my room was looked at my arrival, so I couldn't use it. Not the best value and wouldn't recommend it.

GGuest UserTHe hotel is dated - it would be nice to look old on the outside and up to date on the inside. It was hard to figure out how to turn on the AC - glad it worked though. Location is good, but the problem is parking - you cannot park on the street - had to park about 10-12 minute away, in a public parking. Breakfast is surprisingly good, with several options to choose from. The extra bed was flimsy, with the wood springs falling twice. Not a lot of space in the room - but, in a way, expected in Europe (especially coming from US). It would be good for the people upfront to share all the options and restrictions when it comes to parking. The lady in the morning included my car in the system, because you can get a ticket even by entering the restricted area.

FFionFionIt was a very pleasant stay, although I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was just in Florence for one night, breakfast was nice with variety of choices, staff were friendly and can speak English, room was clean, AC was working perfectly, everything including the duomo was in walkable distance (only like 10 mins walk to the duomo).
I had to leave the room key to the reception everytime
I leave the hotel which felt a bit strange at first, however apparently this is a norm there as my brothers who were staying at another hotel at the time had to do the same as well.
Last but not least, you can have a fantastic view of the city at rooftop of hotel, especially nice to see the sunrise!
Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

TtakuminThe elevator was shaky and the exterior was a bit old, with many noticeable features. I was also bothered by the dim lighting throughout the building and the lack of a refrigerator in the room.
Also, the lights at the entrance didn't work.
Still, it's just a short tram ride from center of Florence on the T2 line, and I was able to sleep well in my private room with dim, indirect lighting.
Breakfast is included, so I think it's reasonable for the price.
I didn't realize there was a laundry room there, so I didn't use it.
There was also a coin laundry nearby.
