"The property is a bit old, but it's acceptable for a single night if you just need to catch a flight. The staff were polite and welcoming, the location is very convenient to the airport train link, and the room was surprisingly quiet for a good night's sleep. On the downside, the bathtub had a leak, the shower diverter wasn't working, and there was a noticeable damp odor in the room. Overall, it's a decent option if you just need a place to crash near the transit line for a night, though some room updates would definitely be welcome."

As the largest property in the GO Hotel portfolio to date, this flagship hotel features 179 rooms ranging from 19 to 35 square meters, an on-site restaurant, and comprehensive facilities designed to meet the diverse needs of all guests.

"The hotel's futuristic exterior is quite striking, and the interior and guest rooms feature a minimalist and sophisticated design. As it's a new hotel, everything felt clean and I had a very pleasant stay. It's conveniently located, only about a 10-minute Grab ride from Suvarnabhumi Airport, making it great for airport use. This was my third time staying here, and I keep coming back because of the excellent location and design. On the other hand, I once again couldn't find a luggage rack, and the fact that only bath towels were provided was a slight concern. It would be even more comfortable if there was a simple luggage stand and face towels."

"I initially booked my stay for a few days only, but decided to extend for another week. The staff were very nice and allowed me to stay in the same room throughout my time in Bangkok. Now this is really a plus point as some hotels will require you ”check out”, then check in later again which can be a major inconvience. The gym was surpringsly well equipped compared to some higher end hotels (another plus point). They also have self service laundry right beside the gym, or you can opt for the laundromat service right next door to the hotel's lobby (another plus point). Breakfast selection was decent, they do offer a variation throughout the week. Optionally there are also a few coffee joints and 7-11 within the premises. Transport wise, I found out that the back gate of the hotel leads to the pier which you can take the river/canal taxi! That is an absolute winner if the traffic gets really bad. Only 10-12minutes to Central Embassy and the usual downtown areas. Just use google maps to get you along."

"[Review] Twenty Residence Don Mueang: Affordable Stay, Golden Location with Tons of Food, Close to the Airport! ✈️🍲 If you're planning to fly in or out of Don Mueang Airport and looking for an affordable, clean place to stay, and most importantly, somewhere with ”easy access to food,” then look no further! This time, we stayed at Twenty Residence and were so impressed that we've decided to come back here again next time we fly from Don Mueang! 😉 Why we love this place? 👇 1. Location is superb! Close to Don Mueang Airport ✈️ Super convenient for those with early flights or late arrivals. No need to rush, no worries about traffic. Plus, the area around the hotel is lively and not isolated. 2. A paradise for food lovers! 😋🍲 The absolute highlight that won us over is the ”abundance of delicious food” around the hotel. It's a hub of various restaurants. Just a short walk and you'll find amazing eateries. 🌟 Let me show you some of the must-try dishes we had near the accommodation (check out the pics!) 🍽️ Start your main meal with a juicy Hamburger Steak topped with melted cheese and rich sauce, served with fries and salad (image_18.png). Or, if you love creamy dishes, don't miss the hot Mushroom Cream Soup (image_23.png). 🦐 For a spicy kick, try the spicy Tom Yum Noodle Soup with Prawns, rich in flavor and loaded with fresh prawns, boiled egg, and crispy fried tofu (image_19.png). 🍲 If you're into Chinese style, you must try the Mala Tang hot pot, spicy and numbing to the core (image_20.png), accompanied by fragrant Satay Skewers (image_21.png). 😋 Finish your meal with a dessert like Toast (image_22.png) or grab some delicious toasted bread from a nearby shop – it's excellent! 3. Clean and Safe Accommodation 🛏️✨ The hotel and rooms are spotless, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff provide great service. We felt safe throughout our stay. 4. Has a fitness center to stretch and exercise 💪🏋️‍♀️ For those who love to work out, Twenty Residence also has a fitness room available. It's fully equipped, perfect for stretching after a meal or before your journey (image_24.png - image_41.png). ✨ Summary of our scores (based on our feelings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location (close to food, close to airport) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Facilities 📌 If you're looking for accommodation in the Don Mueang area with great value, a superb location, and plenty of food options! We highly recommend Twenty Residence. Located in Bangkok's Ratchathewi, Three One Hotel offers a great stay experience for those traveling for fun or business. The property's front desk offers service in 2 languages, including English.

"Hello, travelers! Imagine a hotel that opened just four days ago. That's exactly what the Three One Hotel is – everything is new, clean, and welcoming. We booked a room with a window and got a great view of Baiyoke Sky. Rooms without windows are also available, so check the room category carefully when booking. Very comfortable pillows, a soft mattress, excellent internet, and a Smart TV. The staff is friendly, there's a 7-Eleven nearby, CentralWorld is within walking distance, and the airport train is just a short walk away. Overall, the hotel is brand new, so it's time to get to know it. 😄 🎥 Watch more honest hotel reviews on the Pikart Travel YouTube channel."

The Ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit Phra Khanong provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit Phra Khanong is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from Khlong Tan and 28km from Don Mueang International Airport. The closest major public transportation, Phra Khanong Metro Station, is only 400m away. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Bangkok hotel offers parking on site. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"First off, there's a major flaw with the hotel: it seems most rooms, except for corner ones, are connecting rooms. This results in terrible soundproofing. You can clearly hear if your neighbors speak even a little loudly. On the first night, I was woken up at 2 AM by the sounds of the couple next door. When I went to the front desk the next day to switch rooms, I was met with eye rolls and impatience. Then, the room change itself was a hassle with all sorts of procedures and time restrictions; I couldn't move to a new room until 2 PM, even though rooms were clearly available. My second issue is with the bathroom. The shower has no door or curtain to prevent water from splashing out. This means every time you take a shower, the bathroom floor will be completely flooded. Your towel will also be soaking wet. The sink design is also a disaster; water splashes out every time you turn on the faucet. My third and biggest issue is the absolutely, incredibly, exceptionally poor service. I specifically want to call out the young, slightly overweight female front desk staff with a ponytail. She gave me constant eye rolls and showed extreme impatience. I don't know what her problem was. When I was changing rooms, she was sighing and rolling her eyes, and she was giving me side-eye even when I was just checking in."

Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"We were given a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and gym area. Room was spacious. We booked for 4 nights but didn't sleep well throughout. 1st night the room was freezing cold even though we set the temp to max 30C. 2nd day went to request change of room but the counter staff said to get a technician to service. Then it became a little bit cold when set to 30C. 3rd day the room was like sauna and we called the technician up again. Then it was fine. On the 4th day, the room was freezing cold again. Technician came and service and said everything is back to normal now and shouldn't have any problems but the room still freezing cold after they left. Tired of calling them again and so we struggled to live through the night. We were so disappointed with the stay this time."

Modena by Fraser Bangkok

Amazing

Before the pandemic, I used to write hotel reviews quite regularly. However, in recent years, most hotels I have stayed at have generally met my expectations in terms of service and hospitality, so I rarely felt compelled to write one. Modena by Fraser Bangkok, however, left me with no choice but to pick up my pen again. It was not because of grand luxury, but because of the warmth, sincerity, and thoughtful gestures that truly made me feel at home throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and warm greetings at the lobby. Check-in was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. I booked a Deluxe King Room, and it certainly did not disappoint. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and equipped with everything I needed. The amenities were excellent, but the highlight was undoubtedly the bed—it was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after long days exploring Bangkok. The hotel's facilities were another highlight. Both the fitness centre and laundrette operate 24 hours a day, which is extremely convenient for travellers. The laundrette has three washing machines and three dryers. Washing costs THB 150 and drying costs THB 120. The washing machine automatically weighs your laundry, so the duration depends on the load. My four days' worth of clothes took about an hour to wash, while drying required the standard one hour. As someone who enjoys working out while travelling, I made full use of the gym every day. It exceeded my expectations, offering free weights, a Smith machine, resistance machines targeting different muscle groups, treadmills, and stationary bikes. It had everything I needed to stay active and maintain my fitness routine during the trip. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The selection was excellent, with many of the hot dishes and pastries changing daily, making each morning feel fresh and enjoyable. The location is also a major advantage. The hotel is located right next to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) MRT station and is only one stop from Sukhumvit Station, where Terminal 21 is located. It is also just two MRT stops from the Makkasan/Phetchaburi interchange for the Airport Rail Link, making travel to and from the airport very convenient. A 7-Eleven next to the hotel is another welcome bonus. Before I conclude, I would like to share one small incident that perfectly reflects the hotel's exceptional hospitality. On the second day of my stay, the light bulb at the room entrance stopped working. To me, this was simply normal wear and tear. I informed the front desk before heading out, and by the time I returned, the light bulb had already been replaced. The following day, after returning from my outing, I found a small towel elephant placed on my work desk, together with some snacks and a handwritten apology card from the hotel regarding the light bulb incident. I was genuinely touched. It was such a small gesture, yet it spoke volumes about how much the team cared about their guests. Throughout my travels, very few hotels have gone the extra mile in such a thoughtful and heartfelt way. Thank you, Modena by Fraser Bangkok, for making me feel genuinely valued and welcomed. Lastly, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team. Every day, I returned to a spotless, tidy, and welcoming room. It truly felt like coming home after a long day of sightseeing. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Modena by Fraser Bangkok to anyone planning a trip to Bangkok. With its excellent service, comfortable accommodation, well-equipped facilities, convenient location, and above all, a team that genuinely cares about its guests, this is a hotel I will gladly return to on my next visit.

I was pleasantly surprised to find two cute elephants on the bed after upgrading to a king-size room. However, when I pulled back the sheets, I discovered three strands of hair that weren't mine. I went to the front desk to report the issue and asked for a change of sheets. A local male staff member flicked the three hairs onto the floor and told me that the sheets were clean and new, implying they were fine to sleep on. It seemed like he had no intention of changing them. So, I insisted on completely new ones. He then quickly brought a new set of sheets and duvet covers and changed them in about a minute. I gave him 20 baht as a tip for his trouble. Later, the front desk called to apologize and said they'd send a drink voucher, but it never arrived. The mini-fridge was a bit old and run-down, and it was quite disgusting inside, like a junk fridge no one would even buy for 50 baht as scrap. When I checked out, I had basically left everything 80% as I found it, as I hadn't used any of the other amenities.

The neighborhood is awful, smells like fish. I think even the taxi driver was scared when he arrived. This was my first time in a hostel. The bedding was clean, the air inside was fresh, and the staff were polite. I asked for an early check-in, and they accommodated me without extra charge because I really needed to sleep. It was comfortable to sleep, and there were no drunkards or unruly people, just young and decent guests. A bed for one night cost 500 rubles, which is perfect just for sleeping.

The hotel's location next to an amusement park makes it a great choice for families with children. There's a shuttle bus and boat service every hour that goes to Silom for free, and you can get to Asok Station with a transfer for 12-14 baht. The breakfast was average compared to other hotels of a similar standard, and it was decent enough. While the overall facilities are very old and dated, I'd still recommend this place if you're looking for a room with a bathtub, spacious accommodations, a beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River, and good value for money. However, the most important thing is that the service attitude of those who help with check-in and check-out at the hotel is only one star. They smiled brightly and seemed friendly, but I'm not sure if they were good at their job. As someone sensitive to noise, I requested a quiet room when booking. Instead, I was assigned to a floor undergoing renovation. As soon as the elevator doors opened, I saw a giant curtain, and it felt like I was stuck on a construction site. The most annoying part was that when I lay down in the room to rest, I couldn't relax properly due to the constant thumping noises from the renovation. I came here to relax comfortably, but I wondered why I was at a place that felt like a construction site. It was completely different from what I expected from a 4-star or 5-star level of service. However, I want to express my gratitude to the staff working at the concierge. My tour was almost canceled due to a sudden downpour, and it wouldn't have been refundable. Thanks to the help of the concierge staff, my tour went ahead as planned. I had a great time because of them, and I gave them 10 dollars as a thank-you. That's how a hotelier should work. I sincerely appreciate it.

1. I stayed for one night because I was attending a concert at Idea Live, which is near the hotel. I was really grateful that the front desk allowed me to check in before 11 AM that day. 2. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the showerhead was quite old and didn't work very well; the water pressure was too strong, but the spray area was very small. 3. Getting to the hotel from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport) involved taking the Airport Rail Link for a few stops and then walking for about 15 minutes. However, that walk isn't the easiest, so it might be challenging if you have large luggage.

The hotel has aged badly, the fittings and the interior is dated, had to get things replaced and repaired to continue to stay on, also extremely bad noise insulation.  The staff are excellent, no complaints changed and did everything in their power to make the stay comfortable. The hotel is not up to the holiday inn standard I am used to. Just look at the TV model, even the TV channels were not working without snow.

The night before check-in, I carefully read the negative reviews on Ctrip, which made me lose confidence in this hotel. I contacted Ctrip customer service in the middle of the night to try and cancel, but since it was past the cancellation time, we ended up staying there anyway… We had four adults and two children, so we booked a connecting quad room and a twin room. 1. **Hygiene:** The rooms were very clean. It felt comfortable to walk barefoot on the floor, and the bathroom was also very clean with a good wet/dry separation. 2. **Breakfast:** We had the power breakfast every day, and it was delicious and well-balanced. 3. **Service:** I didn't feel any discrimination; both the male and female customer service staff were very polite. 4. **Shuttle:** The hotel's regular schedule is a shuttle every half hour to the alley entrance, but during our two-day stay, we were able to leave whenever we wanted. 5. **Room Type:** For two adults and two children in Bangkok, there aren't many family room options. Many family rooms put all four people in one room, which can be disruptive when adults and children have different schedules. If you book two separate standard rooms, there's no way to look out for each other. So, connecting rooms are our favorite room type when choosing a hotel. 6. **Location:** This is indeed a drawback. Although the Sukhumvit area is great, the hotel is located deep inside an alley, which takes away the fun of being able to just step out and explore anytime… 7. **Pool and Gym:** The pool isn't big, but we were just transiting through Bangkok to Phuket, so we weren't planning on swimming at a city hotel anyway. The gym is also really small; it gets very crowded with just three or four people. However, they thoughtfully provide small towels for wiping sweat in the gym.

I stayed at Kingston Suites between May 15 and May 18, 2026. Arriving early morning on the 15th, they permitted an early check-in at a cost of 1000 baht extra for which i was grateful after travelling for 30 hours. The executive suite room was large, clean and included basic furniture, a microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. The breakfast was a mix of Western and Indian dishes. I thought it was just okay as the main entrees were kind of bland and the selection was limited. Most of the staff were courteous. The location was quite good, only a 10-12 minute walk to Terminal 21 and a couple of BTS stations. I would likely stay again though there are numerous alternatives at a similar price point so it would likely boil down to who offers the best deal.
