"From the check-in process to the entire stay, it was superb! A day before the booking date, I received an email with the room number and door lock password. It also included a link to upload guests' travel document information to the official website for check-in purposes. There was no need to communicate with staff throughout, making it easy and convenient. Each room type comes with at least one parking space, perfect for families traveling by car. The room facilities were comprehensive and very clean. There were plenty of kitchenware and tableware available, so we could cook meals. The welcome drinks also offered a variety of beverages. The hot spring maintained a suitable temperature and water level at all times, allowing guests to soak whenever they wished. Next to the hot spring, there was a washbasin and a water dispenser, and right beside that, a sauna room – convenient for rehydrating immediately after sweating. The entire experience was excellent. I will definitely book to stay again next time!"

"The environment of the homestay in the mountains is very good. There are not many rooms, about 10. There is a private hot spring in the room. There is also a public hot spring outside. Considering the problem of snoring, I specially booked two rooms. When I arrived, they said there was only one 😭 and I reported it to Ctrip. The response was still very fast. Because it rained heavily on the day we went, we did not stay in the other hotel arranged by Ctrip. We all stayed in one room for one night."

"Make sure to check the room amenities carefully. I booked this place and only realized after receiving an email that there was no private bathroom and that I'd have to use a shared one. However, it was clean and odor-free. If your room is on the 3rd floor, the stairs are quite high, so if you have large luggage or mobility issues, you should definitely consider that. I was a bit nervous about the cat mentioned in previous reviews, as I'm allergic. Turns out the cat is very well-behaved and stays mostly in the lobby on the ground floor; you barely even see it, so that was fine."

"The environment is very quiet, very suitable for staying for a few more days, and it feels like home. The kitchen has heating and a barbecue grill, as well as recycling bins. The beds were very comfortable and there was a large TV too. There is no need to worry about shortage of supplies during the few days you stay here. Towels and consumables are plenty. There is also an AEON store open until 10pm on the way back from the street, or a convenience store, which means you can cook. We went there at the end of January. The night sky was very clear. There were no lights on the way to the B&B, so we could see everything very clearly and beautifully. 😊Just be careful not to fall into the ditch... The person in charge told us that this B&B is run by the yakiniku restaurant ”Wasaku”, which is right on the street. It tasted great. After booking the accommodation, you can contact the email address to arrange a free shuttle bus. There seems to be no contact address on trip.com. You may look for the restaurant's email address online. It seems that the same group of people are looking at it."

"Clean space with 3 rooms — 2 western and 1 Japanese. Beds are decent for the western rooms but the tatami sleeping proved to be literally hard without much comfort. Lots of towels provided, enough for two nights. Located in a local neighbourhood amidst rice paddies and a scenery of the mountains, with the nearest supermarkets just within a 5 min drive away. There is the YouTube and Netflix option for the projector tv, but the living room is rather small. Sofa can be replaced by tatami seats or plastic chairs for rearranging. Stairs are rather steep; children and the elderly may want to reconsider. Overall a decent experience"

"Although the hotel is a bit old, it's exactly the style and feel I wanted: rustic decor, beautiful surroundings, a first-class private bath, and a great location—perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking. There are 5 private family hot springs (private baths), including both indoor and outdoor options. No reservations are needed; you just check if the light at the entrance is off, and if so, it's free to use. **Tech-Savvy Management:** Guests can scan a QR code with their phone to instantly check the real-time availability of each private bath, saving you a wasted trip. **A Small Tip:** If you're staying in winter, the path to the outdoor baths and some outdoor showering areas can feel quite cold. If you're sensitive to cold, I recommend prioritizing private baths #1-3, which are indoors. 3. **Dining Experience: A Hearty Yakiniku Feast** We opted for the half-board plan, and dinner was enjoyed at a partner yakiniku restaurant. The wagyu beef was excellent quality and incredibly generous in portion. There was even a bonus offer of unlimited alcoholic beverages and plum wine, making it fantastic value for money. The Japanese-style breakfast the next day was also very filling, providing a great start to our day. 4. **Unique Atmosphere: A Paradise for Animal Lovers** The inn has very gentle cats and dogs living on the premises. If you're lucky, the resident cat manager might even appear in common areas or even come by your room for a patrol. For animal-loving travelers, this sense of warmth and comfort is something other hotels simply can't replicate. 5. **Accommodation Details and Recommendations** **Room Space:** The new wing rooms are spacious, blending modern comfort with traditional Japanese aesthetics."

"The hotel is small, but located in a very picturesque location! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room is spacious, with an outdoor onsen and two baths at your disposal – they become private when in use, so you won't be disturbed. Near the hotel is a wonderful bakery called Grand'ma and a coffee shop called Grand'pa – I recommend checking them out."

"We got the room called ”Forest Bath.” It was very clean, and the onsen was comfortably warm. The only downside was the view – a bamboo forest – which wasn't as impressive as expected. The kitchen was well-equipped with appliances: oven, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, and even a Dyson hairdryer. However, I found some of the facilities a bit strange. For example, there was only one shower room, and it was shared with the indoor onsen. So, if you weren't shy, you could shower while someone else was in the onsen. There was also only a glass partition between the shower room and the sink, so someone could clearly see someone showering while they were washing their face. Furthermore, there were two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, but neither had a sink inside. The upstairs toilet required going downstairs to wash hands, while the downstairs toilet required using the sink in the shower room. Those were the only issues. Otherwise, it was very convenient. You'll need to drive to supermarkets, and the road leading to the area isn't suitable for walking."

"Private hotel, a little bit away from the station, the station is 700 yen by taxi. The host is a couple who communicate in English politely and enthusiastically, and the room they gave was not bad. In the courtyard on the first floor, there is a bathing pond shared by the whole house, and mountains in the distance can be seen in the courtyard. The room facilities are simple and there is no elevator on the second floor. The beds are quite comfortable and you need to bring your own toiletries. The hotel is very close to Lake Kinrin. If you walk around early in the morning, you can see the white smoke on the surface of the lake. Although the breakfast arranged back is simple bread, juice and custard, it is convenient and free. After eating, went to Yuzhiping, a very nice Japanese town."
