Hotels near St. Georg, Hamburg

"It's very clean and comfortable, with good lighting and a very comfortable bed. You'll feel pleasantly surprised as soon as you enter the room. The design is thoughtful and the facilities are complete. The surrounding environment is also very quiet, so you can relax and have a good rest. It feels like a pity to stay for only one day."

"Hotel is located in walking distance of Hamburg Hbf, which is very convenient! Small downside is, that there are quite some homeless people and junkies around these kind of areas. We observed a junkie who was checking out a stolen (?) bag for its content on two nights while we were walking back to the hotel. Another advantage is the proximity of a car rental, which even allows for the cars to park there over night, so that one does not need to book the hotel Garage for €20/night! (Enterprise autovermieting) Rooms were ok, on lower floors with aircon and window can be opened. Bf was fine, but there was not enough space for the huge amount of guests, so they opened some rooms next to the main bf room, partly without electricity, which means that we had bf in the dark 😊. Gym has no mats for Yoga or the like. Showercaps have to be requested. Executive lounge just good for fetching some extra drinks or small snacks, but nothing special. Staff extremely friendly!"

"The room is clean, spacious and bright, with a nice bathroom, separate wet and dry areas, and a separate toilet."

"Arcotel Rubin made our stay in Hamburg pleasant and marvellous  They welcome us and allowed us early checked in and upgraded our Junior suite to full suite The suite was immaculate with beverages on the house Overall stay was perfect and would be our first choice hotel if ever we return to Hamburg"

"Excellent location, 30 seconds to a metro station, very clean and modern rooms, well appointed Sauna and Steam Room"

"We spent three days in Hamburg over Pentecost. The hotel is in a very good location in the middle of the Speicherstadt. There is a public parking garage right next door with direct access to the hotel. A bus stop with lines 2 and 6 is directly opposite the hotel, or about 150m away, from which you can go directly to the train station or in the other direction to the Landungsbrücken. The service staff were consistently very nice and friendly. The breakfast buffet is appropriate for a hotel of this standard and of good quality with a few special features. We have experienced much worse buffets, but also a few better ones. For our taste, there are some compromises with the bread and egg dishes, but that is and remains a matter of taste. Our rooms were cozy and stylishly furnished. But still intelligent, so that there is enough storage space and the bathroom area is perfectly integrated. All in all, a very successful stay, so we can recommend the hotel."

"No air conditioning, the room is too small and a bit simple."

"Lovely family-friendly hotel with very friendly staff and beautiful views over Alster lake. Fantastic breakfast too! Thanks very much; enjoyed our stay thoroughly"

"Walls in the room are smiled with color. On the window side, bed no deposition. Badroom is very small so you stand out of the shower if you don't take care of the toilet. What I think is good that the hotel has 19 floors. Friendly reception staff. Excellent effort. I was more than positively surprised."

"This hotel is in an excellent location, not too far from the airport or the centre but still quiet. The staff are helpful and efficient, and their was a good choice of food. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely view. The hotel spa has an impressive range of amenities, and creates a very relaxing atmosphere."
