Simply an awesome stay!!! We will definitely come back here coz the recent trip was a little too short. Glad that we we went ahead to stay here. It was the best choice 👍

During my stay at Shangri-La Jakarta I faced several issues that, unfortunately, overshadowed the overall experience. I arrived early for check-in, around 13:20, while the official check-in time is 14:00. The front desk staff spent quite some time processing my registration, checked the availability, and told me that my room was ready, but that the key card could only be issued after 14:00. I was asked to wait and was assured that either someone would come to me, or I could return to the desk at that time. I waited until 14:00, but no one approached me. At around 14:05 I went back to the reception. The staff member who had originally checked me in was already busy with another guest, and a different employee started assisting me. He began the whole check-in process from scratch, which felt strange, and it quickly became clear that the room that had initially been mentioned was no longer available and that a new room was being assigned. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, the staff offered an “upgrade” from a Deluxe Room to a Horizon Club Room as a way of compensation. In practice, however, the new room was on a lower floor and did not differ in any noticeable way from the Deluxe category in terms of layout, view or amenities. The benefits of the Horizon Club were not explained to me, so I did not actually use any additional services. As a result, the so-called upgrade felt more like a formality than a real improvement. The condition of the room itself was generally good. The air conditioning was quiet, there were no unpleasant smells from the bathroom, and the room looked clean and well maintained. A serious concern for me was the drinking water provided in the room. Large glass bottles were supplied regularly, but the water in them had a strong smell of chlorine and was simply not suitable for drinking. After the hotel contacted me asking if I had any comments, I mentioned this issue. Only then did they start bringing smaller bottles of water that no longer had this smell. This creates the impression that guests are initially given water of questionable quality and that the problem is addressed only when someone complains. Another recurring issue was the smell of cigarette smoke. My room was non-smoking, and the floor was non-smoking as well, yet from time to time the smell of tobacco appeared in the room, most likely coming through the ventilation. After I reported this, an air freshener was placed in the corridor, but it was removed the next day, and the smell returned. It gives the impression that someone is smoking in areas where it is not allowed, and guests are affected by it. Breakfast was also disappointing. The restaurant where breakfast is served is organized in a very inconvenient way: you are first shown to your table, but the buffet stations are arranged rather chaotically, so after walking around to get food it is easy to lose track of where your table is. Navigation is not intuitive, and the overall atmosphere is not very comfortable. The food itself did not seem particularly tasty and appeared to be more focused on Asian preferences than on a broader, international audience. I also visited the lobby restaurant. I tried several dishes there, including a bolognese pasta that was frankly not very good. For comparison, in the nearby shopping mall you can find places that serve the same dish in a much better way and at a lower price. If you look only at the condition of the rooms, the hotel appears to be of a good standard. However, the level of service, the breakfast experience and the overall value for money, in my opinion, do not match the status that the hotel aims to project. The price of the stay feels high compared to other similar hotels in Jakarta, where both service and food quality can be better while the rates are lower.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great stay at Ascott Jakarta. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to shopping malls and many places to eat. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. During check-out, they even helped us weigh all our luggage, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We also requested room decoration to celebrate our friend’s birthday, and the team did a wonderful job. On top of that, they even gave us a slice of cake without any charge, which was such a lovely and unexpected gesture. Overall, everything was good, smooth and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

Absolutely loved my stay at Pullman Thamrin! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the CBD, with top shopping malls, restaurants, and transport just steps away. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out; staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. The hotel’s design is modern and stylish, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had—plenty of variety and top-quality options. Facilities like the gym and executive lounge are also excellent. My only gripe? The room was surprisingly small for a hotel of this calibre. Everything else was five-star, but the compact space did feel a bit tight, especially if you’re staying longer or with large luggage. Still, for business or a short city stay, this hotel delivers in all the right ways. Highly recommended.

Good facilities for fitness center, swimming with cold and warm indoor pool. Breakfast is decent with combination of asian and western food.

An old-school upscale business hotel. Very good service with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with adequate amenities. With international electric sockets that was very convenient for international tourists. A Family Mart and a KFC are just round the corner, Without 10 minutes walk to find many eateries. Not around with shopping centres. The swimming pool and full-gear gym were excellent! I'd in particular mention Tria of the lobby lounge. I went to the lounge also every evening throughout my stay, Tria was very friendly and consistently provided excellent service.

Hotel has very spacious rooms. It's a has a good Mexican restaurant at the lobby. Breakfast comes with a good variety of Asian and Western dishes. Friendly staff as well.

Their friendliness and professionalism instantly made me feel at home. Room Quality: I stayed in a well-appointed guest room that was both modern and functional. The room was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed with practical touches like a comfortable work desk, fast Wi-Fi, and an excellent mattress that provided restful sleep. Although not large, the space was cleverly utilized, and the city views added a nice urban charm. Amenities like complimentary bottled water, a coffee maker, and a spacious bathroom with quality toiletries were appreciated. Facilities: While the property is more business-focused and compact compared to larger luxury hotels, it still offers everything essential for a pleasant stay. The fitness center was small but well-equipped with modern machines, ideal for a quick workout. There is also a stylish restaurant and a cozy bar area perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. Dining: Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant was impressive, featuring a good spread of both Indonesian and Western options. Everything was fresh and replenished frequently. I also appreciated the made-to-order egg station and the availability of local dishes, which gave the breakfast an authentic touch. In-room dining was quick and the food quality was above expectations. Staff Service: The service throughout my stay was excellent. The staff were genuinely courteous, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Whether at the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant, every interaction was met with warm smiles and efficient service, enhancing the overall guest experience. Location: The location of Four Points Jakarta is one of its strongest points. Situated right in Thamrin, the hotel offers easy access to major malls like Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia, as well as numerous office buildings. Public transportation options are also nearby, making it extremely convenient to navigate the city. Overall Impression: Four Points by Sheraton Jakarta, Thamrin delivers fantastic value with its strategic location, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and reliable amenities. It’s ideal for business travelers needing proximity to Jakarta’s CBD, as well as tourists looking for a well-connected base in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a straightforward yet highly satisfying stay in Jakarta. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

It's very convenient because it's close to the city center. Transportation is easy and there are lots of culinary spots nearby. It's quite interesting to see trains passing by, just like in Bangkok.
