"I stayed at this hotel for one night on May 4, 2025, and had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—less than a 20-minute drive from the airport, in a safe and secure neighborhood. The hotel is gated with visible security, and even Uber drivers are required to state their purpose before entering, which I appreciated as it made me feel safe. There’s also a guard stationed at the entrance to the rooms, adding an extra layer of security. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had a peaceful night’s sleep thanks to the quiet surroundings. The reception staff were friendly and hospitable, making check-in smooth and welcoming. A shopping mall is just a 15-minute walk away, or a short Uber ride costing less than $2. The hotel is also easy to locate. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future."
"The hotel supposed to provide free transport to airport and while we checked in we indicated the time required as per the electronic notice board at 4 30am. The front desk told us the schedule shown was not updated. The free transport is only every hour as in either 4 am or 5am. We chose 4 am. The next morning when went to the front desk, the manager in-charged mentioned there was no booking. At the same time, they advised us free transport is only for certain hour. They show us the updated notice. We do not have a choice but to pay for the transport to airport. This is not fair to the guest that we are not informed of the change and the schedule and price charged changed overnight."
"I had a really pleasant stay at The Panari Hotel, conveniently located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bed was excellent — perfect for a good night’s rest before or after a flight. The check-in and checkout process were smooth and friendly, and the staff were professional and helpful. The airport drop-off service, though charged separately, was on time and well-coordinated, which I appreciated. The food was amazing — definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The only downsides were that the shower was broken (though I managed to adjust) and that the rates were a little on the expensive side for what’s offered. Overall, it’s a comfortable, clean, and convenient hotel with great food and service — just a bit pricey and in need of a few minor fixes."

"Polite and very professional people. The best part was the timely airport pickup which also happens to be located rather close to the airport. I highly recommend those in layover to consider staying here. The rooms are super clean and fully functional with extra self care like tea. I’ll definitely be staying here each time I’m in Nairobi."

Amazing
SStanislavaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful welcome set provided upon arrival. The bed linens were fresh and immaculate. The service was excellent — the staff were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything I required. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserAs an expat, I'm almost questioning my life after eating white food every day 😂. Today at noon, I finally had Chinese food in Kenya. The stir-fried dishes tasted very authentic. Every bite was like being back in China. It was an instant comfort!
SSarah H.Lively location with a shopping centre next door and a lot of supermarkets. Very nice hotel, kind and welcoming staff, clean and spacious room with everything you need. Comfortable beds, convenient walk-in shower. Breakfast was amazing, diverse and very good quality. Even the tea in the room is very nice. Everyone was super nice and we would definitely stay here again next time in Nairobi.
GGuest UserFantastic hotel by far one of the most nobel hotel i have visited, everything perfect from staff , spacious room, breakfast buffet and location
GGuest UserHyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is a modern, stylish hotel in a great location. It has spacious rooms with city views, great food, a rooftop pool, and a gym. Perfect for both business and leisure stays.
HHeweyGreat hotel in a great location! The check in process was smooth, the friendly staff fully engaged at the point of service. The two story hotel foyer was wonderfully furnished for an immediate photo shoot! The room was very clean and very spacious! I asked for one at height with a view! Hotel facilities boast: - fitness room (free for guests) - beauty parlour - two restaurants, although only one was open during my stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! - rooftop swimming pool, also closed during my stay -a great club bar! There was even a guest laundry room with washing machine and drying area (free for guests) Location is everything and this hotel is just a few minutes walk from a range of other local venues and restaurants, although who wants to stay too local in Naitobi, the city that Hever sleeps?
AAnonymous UserI truly enjoyed my short stay here. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the gate to the hotel staff made me feel at home. The food was exceptional—especially the lamb chops, some of the best I’ve ever had. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety and was even more delightful by the poolside, with a cool breeze and soft background music. Security is modern and reassuring, and my room had a lovely view of Westlands. Overall, a great experience—I would definitely recommend this place.
GGuest UserGood location if you want to be fairly central with a few minutes walk to plenty of bars. Uber is very efficient and cheap here if you want to travel out. The staff were very good and the restaurant/bar is 24/7 (I believe). Room was lovely. Overall, although I think Nairobi is a little on the expensive side, this was ok. I tried to book again for after the safari but it was more expensive so i went to the Swiss Belinn instead, which was cheaper and the same standard (a little further away but again, Uber and Bolt are super efficient and cheap here). TIPS FOR FOREIGNERS COMING INTO KENYA: 1. Get your currency outside of Kenya, the exchange rate here, particularly at the airport, is absolutely awful - I found them to be offering upto 35% less than the actual rate. 2. You only really need a small amount of cash here - most places you will visit accept card. 3. DO NOT BUY A TELKOM SIM CARD. It is absolutely useless, even in Nairobi but does not work AT ALL on safari. 4. Uber and Bolt are very good here. 5. If you are doing safari and your trip does not include the national park fees (payable in USD), make sure you get those before arriving - the banks and ATMs here are very unreliable if you want USD. 6. Do not pay extortionate hotel prices for laundry - find a local company who will collect and deliver your laundry for a fraction of the price like Smartfua Laundromat. 7. If you go on Safari, try not to sit on the back of the vehicle - it gets VERY bumpy. Have a great trip!
