I had a really great stay here! The hotel is a new place, and it shows everything feels fresh and modern. I was particularly impressed with the windows; they block out all the outside noise perfectly, which made for an excellent and comfortable night's sleep. The room follows a nice minimalist style but still has all the essentials you could need. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

This hotel is really close to Jongno 3-ga Station, making it super convenient for getting to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong. The room was a bit small, but very clean. You can store your luggage before check-in, and the self-check-in process was a breeze. For a Seoul city center hotel, it offers excellent value for money.

I recently stayed at Insadong Crown Hotel during my solo trip to Seoul, and it was the perfect choice. As a solo traveler, location and safety are very important to me — and this hotel delivered on both. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Insadong, within walking distance of traditional shops, cozy cafés, street food spots, and subway stations. It made exploring the city so easy, even on my own. I always felt safe walking around the area, even in the evening. The room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for one person. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to return to a quiet and cozy space to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions about directions or recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Insadong Crown Hotel for anyone traveling solo. It offers comfort, convenience, and great value in one of Seoul’s most charming neighborhoods. I would definitely stay here again on my next solo adventure! 🇰🇷✨

Since it was just opened, I searched for it on Naver Maps or Kakao Maps and it didn't come up, so I was worried it might actually be there, but it turned out fine! There was no floor guide on the website, so just to clarify, there is a kiosk on the 4th floor where you can check in, receive your room number and go to your room. The elevator goes up to the 5th floor, and there is a common space on the 6th floor where you can enjoy a cafe corner, ramen, and other services. The microwave was broken so I couldn't heat up my tteokbokki, which was disappointing 😭 The room was clean and had a refrigerator and table, so I had a comfortable stay!

Given the price paid, the location of this hotel is superb as it is near the subway station (jongno sam ga) which gives you access to 3 different subway lines. Essentially, this hotel is located within insadong and ikseondong area and it is within 5-10 min walking distance to a lot of famous cafes at ikseondong and anguk. At night, there are many pochas and eateries options available. The hotel provide free snacks (gummy, chips and cake) and beverage/bottled water and is generous enough to top up daily. The room is considered spacious and they tidy up the room and provide free towels daily. The only downside was the weird format of the room in which the toilet and shower area was separate and there was also 2 gaming pc in the room. Had a decent stay at this hotel.

Booking platform: Trip.com. Pros: The facilities are complete, and it's very clean. The location is what I liked most; bus stops and MRT stations are all nearby (100m-600m). There are three hawker centers nearby with plenty of food options. Ya Kun Kaya Toast and Nanyang Coffee for breakfast are also very close, as well as 7-Eleven, and you can even buy pandan cake nearby. There are also many attractions, and it's convenient to travel to other sights. Merlion Park, Gardens by the Bay, and Clarke Quay are all very close, just a few bus stops away. Cons: Using the apartment's own app to open the door makes check-in a bit cumbersome for first-time users. Additional comments: 1. During my stay, the fire alarm in the hallway went off twice. After informing the staff, an employee named Marry immediately came to resolve it. She looks a lot like Lisa!!! 2. I had read in the apartment description that there were bars nearby and it might be noisy at night. I stayed in room 101, right by the entrance, but it was surprisingly quiet at night. I even brought earplugs, but it seems I didn't need them. Perhaps it only gets lively with drinkers on weekend nights, but it didn't disturb my rest. 3. This chain has many branches. There's another one on the next street, and I saw their branches near other attractions when taking the bus. It seems all their locations are pretty good.

I had a pleasant stay at Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong. Upon check-in, I requested to change my room from a twin to a double, and the staff were very accommodating and handled it smoothly, which I really appreciated. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, convenient and well-situated for exploring the area. Overall, a great experience with helpful service, cleanliness, and a good location. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a lovely stay at New Seoul Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when we were finding our way around Seoul (The second picture the staff printed out the ways for us to get to Elysian Ski Park 🥺). The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the doorman and cleaners always greeted us warmly, which made our mornings better. The price is reasonable for the location, and Myeongdong is just around a 20-minute walk. Overall, very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Two women stayed here, and the area around the hotel was bustling with restaurants like chicken places and insa-nekko (likely referring to a lively street or area), so even though we arrived late, we felt safe. However, one thing to note is that the hotel is on the 6th and 7th floors of a building, but there's a karaoke bar on the 5th floor. An old man from the karaoke bar was handing out flyers by the elevator and would approach us quite a bit. That was the only thing I disliked, but if you just tell him you're going to the hotel, he doesn't persistently follow you, so it's fine! It might have just been our room, but while it was very clean, there was a sewage smell, which was tough because we had to open the window to air it out even though it was cold, haha. Other than that, it was truly a fantastic hotel!

We enjoyed our stay. The room is quite standard size, Not too small but there isn’t a big space for you to open up 2 luggages at once. Considering this js Seoul the room size is acceptable. The hotel is located at a quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible using public transport, 30 mins walk to Anguk area or you can directly use the bus (4 stops). There are many local restaurants around to explore as well but you’ll have to use the naver app to look around. Overall if you prefer something quiet and you love walking to explore the area this is nice. Ps, surrounding nothing to shop unless you head to anguk area.
