"We were greeted with friendly vibes by the receptionist, Mr Chen. The check-in process was swift and instructions to the room were clear. The room was spotless and had a spacious bathroom. I am not a big fan of ginger so I didn't really like the smell of their ginger handwash, shower gel and shampoo. To note that there was no shower rack for us to place our own shower items."

"Room is overall clean & comfortable . Toilet is an open concept without glass walls to separate the shower area from the toilet seat & it had safety bars (probably meant for people with mobility issues as there’s a hospital nearby). Amenities also included body lotion. It’s about a 10min walk to the nearest supermarket. Breakfast was good, although the standard of the food dropped in the weekend (I stayed on the weekday through the weekend) - food was burnt /overcooked on Saturday as compared to the weekday."

"A clean and trendy hotel located at Upper Queen Street. The hotel has a gym, massage and an Italian restaurant downstairs. Staff were friendly. Convenience stores, bars and late night restaurants on Karangahape Road were around the corner. The core CBD was only an approximately 15-20 mins walk. Recommend!"

"It was my second time staying here, it was clean and the place was quiet and the staff are very accommodating."

"The room was clean, the shower hot, the bed comfortable and the air con powerful - all the things you expect in a mid/budget range hotel. But what really set this one out form the others were the staff. So friendly and helpful. I arrived very early (9am) so my room wasn't ready so they stored my luggage for me and I came back later. They had already put my bags in my room for me ready. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Whilst I'd expect that in a top hotel, that sort of going the extra distance I don't usually find in a mid/budget range. I would stay again"
