I stayed here for business and was really impressed by the amenities, specifically the pool area. It’s often hard to find a pool in Bangkok decent enough for actual swimming, but this one was perfect. The water was crystal clear and the length was decent for getting in a workout (freestyle and breaststroke). It’s a peaceful break from the busy city below. Solid service and cleanliness overall, but the swim experience makes me want to come back.

Check in and out was good, the room was nice and big bathroom but no smart tv so no YouTube 😩 beds where a bit too hard and no PowerPoints next to beds👎🏻 The buffet breakfast was below par, poor choice and poor quality way to many people it was so loud I couldn't hear myself think🤕 it was very uncomfortable, pool was ok but saunas where locked😞 Over all the hotel was very old and dated furniture from the 40s and not clean, don't think I'll stay here again.

The advantage of this hotel is the location and all the nearby food, health massage centre, shopping mall. However, this hotel is very run down, compare to it's photo posted. The light in the lobby, lift, corridor and room is very dim. There is some smell in the corridor. In the middle of the night, you can easily hear the door banging or some water run through the pipe. Even in the room, some cabinet has broken and not been fixed. Worst still, the aircon temperature cannot be adjusted. If we feel cold, called the receptionist and they will send technical to adjust for you. Like wise, if feel hot, technician will appear again to adjust to the temperature you need. It is very hard to imagine. However, my room is on the 30th floor and offered a spectacular view.

It's my first trip to Bangkok as a solo traveller and I'm glad I chose to stay at Easy planet Asoke! The location is prime, being walking distance to Asok Bts station, which is also an interchange to Sukhumvit Mrt that connects to Makkasan ( Airport ARL). Terminal 21 is opposite and Lets Relax Massage just right at the corner! Room cleanliness is good, the size is perfect for 1 or 2 person with enough space for luggage. Basic amenities like hairdryer, towel, hanging rack, TV & a flip-down vanity table is available in the room. Counter staff is polite and helpful as well. I recommend staying at Easy Planet Asoke and I personally will come back again for my next visit!

The hotel's location is great, close to two main subway stations, Asoke and Sukhumvit. It's situated between Terminal 21 and EMSphere. Cowboy Street is just a few minutes away. There are tons of great food options just one or two subway stops or a short walk in any direction. However, the room's floor is quite noisy. I'd give the cleanliness a 9 out of 10; it was almost perfect, but the pipe under the sink was leaking. Overall, five stars, and good value for money.

This is my fourth stay here. The location is excellent, right in the alley next to Seremban, close to the main road. You'll find a lot of Indian and Korean people around here. Facilities: Overall, they're pretty decent, especially considering it was 400 a night during peak season. The hotel is quite old, but well-maintained. The only issue was the shower. I was on the 7th floor, and for some reason, the hot water was scalding, and the water pressure was a bit low. The pool is nice and not crowded, but the gym equipment is very outdated. Service: Generally, the staff are friendly and the service is good. However, there's always one bad apple. In the mornings at the gym, there was an old man, wearing a hat and a staff short-sleeved top, who would come in, sit down, and watch videos on his phone with the volume turned up loud. I was quite surprised that a staff member would do something like that!

Very close to BTS and MRt. We saved a lot of money with our stay by using both lines and saved a lot of time in the process. Location is the biggest plus points for Hotel Clover. Staff are 1000% helpful, very accommodating. I had to print a document for work and they helped me no questions asked. There's 7 eleven right downstairs. Perfect. Rooms a little bit small but clean. Otherwise all other facilities are great. I have used the gym two times and although small, it is fully equiipped with the essentials. They have a spa/massage room which I intend to use when I return and a pool with a million dollar views! But the best part of our stay (with my bestie) was the breakfast. And I am not a breakfast girl. 6 days of unbelievable breakfast was enough to convince me that if I intend to stay around Sukhumvit/Asoke area, Hotel Clover is the one to book! Nothing is ever the same except for the Hot Pot Corner, and of course the continental breakfast. But everything else is rotated so you get to experience different flavours. The hotel is old and needs major renovation. The hallway do not have AC. Soon as you come out of your room, you’re hit with 42c (110F) temperature . For a 5 star hotel, this is not acceptable. Bangkok is hot and humid enough. We should feel cool within the hotel not hot. The staff were great, the breakfast was amazing.

Love the location and the vibes of the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the door man. There’s a very nice cocktail bar at the basement. 5 mins walk to T21 and Asok BTS station and Suv Mrt station. Very convenient! There’s also an eatery just 3 mins walk from the hotel that serves very yummy thai cuisine. There are 2 massage places- Let’s Relax and Makkah just 3 mins walk. Love the towels, soft and fluffy. Bed is comfortable. Only 1 downside is the water temperature in the shower, either too hot or too cold. Need to adjust for a long time to strike the balanced temperature 🤭. Other than this, everything else is perfect. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Bangkok.

GGuest UserYou won't find a better value hotel in Bangkok. It's really close to the pier, and you can get to central Asok in just 20 minutes by boat. The hotel is brand new, the gym is well-equipped, and the infinity pool is quite large and absolutely stunning – it uses filtered seawater. Breakfast is also very good. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

GGuest UserI booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

GGarreth HuntBangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed... The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them. The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality. Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно. В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время. Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный. В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери. Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно. Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты. Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку. Плюсы Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека. Чистое постельное бельё. Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды. В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы. Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить. Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление. Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров. Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля. Итог Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь. Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям. Расположение и персонал — сильные стороны отеля.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for four nights. Many reviews mentioned the hotel's remote and inconvenient location. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're walking. However, I always took taxis, so it was fine. It's a bit of a distance from 7-Eleven. The environment and facilities are definitely up to four-star standards. The security guard was very proactive and responsible. My two points of confusion were: first, upon check-out, the front desk insisted I wait for them to inspect the room before leaving, even though I had already paid a deposit. Second, after the room was cleaned, the hand towels and floor towels were removed, and only one regular towel was left. I don't understand this practice, and in the subsequent days, fewer and fewer towels were left after cleaning.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated almost the end of silom but close to Hindu temple for me to visit and more convenient for me to worship almost everyday when I get bored or when I have Sth in my mind . The breakfast is the same old same old and no matter time fly so is the same but u need to rotating the hot breakfast menu and too minimise a food cost and food waste after service. The room was great ! And thanks for an upgrade with the tup and made me to relax after the humid and hot day or after window shopping. The room is clean and housekeeping are friendly and ask for the service . Staff are friendly for checking in and I feel bad when staff complain and u under the pressure and have to get police involve and I want to step up and help u to rectify a problem but I am off duty as I am on a short vocation so next time and don’t be afraid and stay tough with this people cause they complain too much but always pay less and expect more or not enough ( tell them ) or ask them to go to neighbour hood hotel instead or try to negotiate with them and catering the best u can by not getting affect by room revenue . I hope to see u again in the future maybe in other excutive room with a bath tub and view but u all need to refurbish some room or the best type of room to upgrade or selling to a guest and increase room revenue incremental .
