"We stayed for six consecutive days, and the manager and front desk staff, especially Betty, were incredibly warm and customer-focused. They even upgraded us to a balcony room with a snow-capped mountain view, which made my spouse and I, as an elderly couple, feel right at home no matter where we were returning from in Lijiang. This Holiday Inn Express in Lijiang, just like the Hampton by Hilton in Kunming and the Atour Hotel at Dali's Sanyue Street we stayed at previously, was handpicked by us for its convenient location right by a main road. This made it super easy to get a taxi for trips to and from the ancient town. The Holiday Inn Express, in particular, offers stunning distant views of the snow mountains from the balcony, practically eliminating the need to visit Baisha Ancient Town for the same view. Having traveled to dozens of countries across Europe, America, Japan, and Canada, we consider this Holiday Inn Express in Lijiang to be among the highest value-for-money hotels within the IHG group. A special thank you goes to Betty at the front desk. My spouse and I aren't very tech-savvy with iPhone settings, and she spent a considerable amount of time with China Unicom to figure out how to resolve our immediate issue. IHG Group should definitely recognize and commend her for such high-quality service."

"This hotel is an absolute steal, easily outperforming any Atour or Lavande at the same price point. The moment I approached the front desk, they offered me black tea. I handed over my ID for check-in, and when it was returned, it was already in a clear card holder. The staff consistently provided service with a smile. The room was also impeccably clean and had excellent soundproofing. I would genuinely recommend this to anyone visiting Lijiang."

"Facilities: The bed was comfortable, not too soft, and I slept really well. The central air conditioning provided excellent heating. Hygiene: The hygiene was also great; the towels and everything else had no strange odors. Environment: It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, very close to Zhongyi Market, which is right next to the Ancient City. I recommend the mushroom soup and mushroom fried rice, as well as the specialty BBQ. Service: The owner was incredibly thoughtful and genuinely welcoming to guests, which was very evident. If I bring my mom next year, I'll definitely stay here again. ... I also recommend Shuhe Ancient Town and Lijiang Ancient City."

The moment I stepped in, I was struck by the tranquility. It's nestled away from the bustling city, and from my window, I could gaze at the majestic, snow-capped mountains. The continuous snow-covered peaks against the blue sky were like a painting, making every breath feel lighter. The guesthouse's decor is a simple, high-end Wabi-sabi style, with wooden furniture and soft lighting. Every corner shows meticulous design, and you can snap a beautiful, atmospheric photo effortlessly without needing to find the perfect angle. Even more delightful were the small details. The toiletries were from Le Labo's SANTAL 33 collection! The woody scent is gentle and soothing, with everything from hand soap to shower gel and body lotion provided, instantly elevating the feeling of luxury during my stay. There are also two adorable, fluffy cats living at the guesthouse. The light-colored British Shorthairs with their blue eyes are playful and affectionate. Spending an afternoon basking in the sun and petting them instantly melted away any fatigue. The service was absolutely impeccable. The housekeeper was gentle and thoughtful, responding promptly to any request without being intrusive – a perfect balance. Breakfast was also exceptional; freshly made spicy oil rice noodles, fragrant with cilantro, alongside toasted bread, a soft-boiled egg, sweet corn, and rich hot drinks. The combination of Chinese and Western styles showed incredible care in every bite. My days at Anzhi Guesthouse were filled with the beauty of snow-capped mountains, cats, delightful scents, and gentle service. This kind of healing experience is truly worth returning for again and again."

The restaurant offers direct views of the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun.' Whether you're here to take wedding photos like me, or just escaping life's hustle in Lijiang, you can confidently choose this place. **Service:** The pictures are NOT stock photos! They are real shots! Real shots! Real shots! Our honeymoon trip included five-diamond accommodations throughout, even international five-star hotels like Indigo and Pullman. Yet, I've never seen such meticulously arranged anniversary decor. Because we had an early start for our wedding photos, we requested a 4 AM wake-up call. The front desk staff was incredibly responsible. After an initial call went unanswered, they knocked on our door to remind us, ensuring our special day went smoothly. This was undoubtedly the most surprising, thoughtful, and heartwarming hotel service of our entire Yunnan trip. **Dining:** First, let's talk about the taste. High praise for the bok choy and mushroom rice – the rice grains were perfectly separated. It was the best food I'd eaten in my 8 days in Yunnan. Both Set A and Set B are excellent choices, you can't go wrong. As for service, after our meal, a lovely lady brought us an amazing hot fruit tea, perfect for digestion and cutting through richness! Finally, a heartfelt thank you to every member of the front desk staff. You've taken such great care of me these past few days! It truly felt like a home away from home. You're my friends in Yunnan, and even more like family. It's the meticulous care and responsibility of each and every one of you that creates Mishue's unparalleled service experience. "The best decision we made in Lijiang was choosing this hotel. Everything here is meticulously cared for. All the facilities are brand new, and it's impeccably clean. The room was incredibly quiet; I slept soundly until morning. What touched us most was the service: we arrived after midnight, and the front desk attendant was still energetic, checking us in quickly and making us feel as welcome as if we were family. Due to our itinerary, we stayed a night in the north of the city the next day, but neither the environment nor the service compared to the comfort we found here. On the third day, we returned without hesitation. This place doesn't need flowery language to describe it; the sense of peace and comfort it provides is its best advertisement. "I think the hotel's location is pretty good; you can get a taxi right outside. It's very convenient to take a taxi to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Lijiang Old Town, taking about half an hour. Shuhe Ancient Town is also just about a 15-minute walk away. As soon as I entered the hotel, it was really warm, and the decor was very clean. The room was quite clean, and the air conditioning worked great, even making it a bit hot for sleeping at night. Because I requested a non-smoking room, it was located quite far back, making the walk from the lobby a bit long. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. They even have a robot to deliver food orders. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I come back."
