"To celebrate my girlfriend's and my 8th anniversary, I booked this hotel in advance. To be honest, my first impression upon arriving wasn't great. I even wondered if I had booked the wrong place. However, the moment I stepped out of the car, I realized I was completely mistaken. First, the hotel staff, especially **Leni**, was incredibly welcoming and professional. She patiently guided me to the parking lot and arranged for the hotel shuttle to pick us up and take us to the lobby. This thoughtful arrangement surprised and delighted us, leaving a fantastic first impression for our stay. Once inside, the overall atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. Since we arrived early and couldn't check in yet, Leni first had us sit down to rest and served us warm ginger tea. Afterward, she introduced us to the hotel's spa services. After hearing the introduction, we decided to try the couples' spa. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The entire spa experience was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The masseuses were professional, completely releasing all the fatigue from our journey. What was even more touching was that after the treatment, the spa attendant thoughtfully gave us a bottle of the hotel's own bath gel as a gift. This small detail made us feel incredibly warm. After checking in, the room was equally satisfying. The overall environment was clean and comfortable, especially the spacious large bathtub, which was perfect for a couple's soak and added a lot of romance to our anniversary celebration. If I had to point out any shortcomings, it would be the hot water supply. After using it for a while, the water temperature would gradually become not hot enough, requiring us to turn it off for a few minutes to wait for the hot water to recover, which slightly affected the experience. Overall, this stay offered more than just comfortable accommodation; it was the genuinely attentive and meticulous service from the hotel staff that truly stood out. From the moment we arrived until we left, every detail made us feel at home. It was a very pleasant stay, and it created beautiful memories for our 8th anniversary. If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely choose this place again and recommend it to my friends."

"This was our fifth stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. 1. Check-in The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I had requested a Queen Bed room instead of Twin Beds. However, I was informed that because my booking was made at the last minute (one day before check-in), only a Twin Bed room was available as all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. We accepted the explanation and proceeded with the room provided. 2. Room Condition Upon entering the room, the first issue we noticed was the air conditioning. Despite setting the fan speed to high, the room remained warm and the air conditioner was not cooling properly. 3. Bathroom There appeared to be a blockage beneath the sink, as water was pooling around the sink and toilet area. In addition, the shower holder was broken while we were using the shower. We chose not to complain and continued our stay. 4. Room Door & Bathroom Door The bathroom door could not be closed properly unless it was pulled and pushed firmly. The more serious issue occurred the next morning after breakfast when our room door became stuck and could not be opened. We contacted maintenance, and the team arrived to inspect the problem. From approximately 8:00 AM onwards, we were unable to access our room. Around 8:30 AM, the maintenance team requested approval from the Front Office to move us to another room because the repair would require additional time. However, they informed that changing rooms would incur an additional charge because we were checking out on the same day. I strongly disagree with this decision. From 8:30 AM until our checkout time at 12:00/12:30 PM, we were still paying guests of the hotel. The room issue was caused by a defect on the hotel’s side, and guests should not be charged extra to move rooms due to problems beyond their control. The Most Disappointing Part During check-in, we were informed that no Queen Bed Deluxe Rooms were available. However, while the maintenance team was accessing our room through the connecting room next door, we discovered that the adjacent room was vacant and equipped with a Queen Bed. If the actual reason was that the room was unavailable due to maintenance, it would have been more professional and honest to explain that from the beginning rather than simply saying all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. This experience has left us very disappointed. Every time we visit Melaka, this hotel has always been our preferred choice. However, after this stay, we have decided not to return. I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff during check-in, but I sincerely hope the hotel will improve both its facilities and service standards. Thank you."
