Four Points properties in Shanghai

I needed a hotel while visiting for medical reasons. When I searched for ”Sheraton,” this 4-star Sheraton was the first option that popped up. Upon entering the lobby, I noticed the decor was quite old, but I've stayed in older hotels before, so I was okay with that. However, there was a stuffy, damp smell due to poor ventilation. I hoped it would be better in the room, but the room had the same musty smell. I tried to accept it, but the next morning, I found a leak on the windowsill. Down in the lobby, I sat on a sofa and noticed many stains, and then I even saw an insect crawling by. At that point, I couldn't accept it anymore. Once I had completed most of my admission procedures for the hospital, I decisively changed hotels. I have no idea how this place got its 4-star rating.

The service was great! There are various dining options within the building, so you don't even have to leave to choose from different cuisines. The swimming pool was especially comfortable, and they also have a sauna, massage, and jet bath, which you can enjoy all to yourself. You can also watch both the sunrise and sunset from the hotel.

On my vacation to Fengjing Ancient Town, I chose the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Jinshan for my stay, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – definitely a five-star rating! The hotel boasts a beautiful French manor style, with a picturesque lakeside setting. The lawns and lake views, both day and night, are perfect for photos. The environment is quiet and pleasant, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, truly enhancing the vacation vibe. The rooms are spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and all the details are well-maintained. Staying in a lake view room, you can open the balcony and enjoy the scenery, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The service is attentive and thoughtful. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and staff member Shine was friendly and responsive to requests. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including Western pastries, as well as local specialties like xiaolongbao and other Fengjing snacks – all very delicious. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool, a gym, and a children's play area, making it very suitable for families traveling with kids. The location is excellent, very close to Fengjing Ancient Town, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. Parking is free, which is great for those traveling by car. I highly recommend this hotel for family trips with children or short weekend getaways. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jinshan!

The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and they even provide bed rails for families traveling with children. The twin beds can be pushed together and are very comfortable, which is great for families with kids. Upon arrival, we received welcome fruits, and not just the usual apples and oranges, but cherries, yellow tomatoes, and grapes. It shows the hotel puts a lot of thought into their service. The only downside was that during our two-night stay, the water pressure in the bathroom was very low (it was great on the 5th floor where I stayed previously, but this time I was on the 7th floor). I informed the front desk before heading out during the day, but the water pressure didn't improve. When I showered again in the evening, it was still an issue, and it wasn't convenient to go back to the front desk for maintenance at that point. I hope the hotel thoroughly checks the water pressure on the higher floors. Overall, I'm still very satisfied, especially since we were going to Disneyland. The subway station is just a block away, and the hotel's underground parking lot was spacious with fast-charging stations, which was incredibly convenient!

Our client absolutely loved their stay! Every time they visit Shanghai, this is the hotel they specifically ask for. We were extremely happy with the room; it's probably one of the best hotels in the area. Being a big brand, the hardware and service were guaranteed. The airport shuttle driver was very patient, constantly calling to guide us on the quickest way out of the airport. Upon check-in, the front desk lady even gave us some Disney merchandise and thoughtfully helped us book the round-trip shuttle to Disney for the next day, so we didn't have to worry about transportation at all. In the evening, we ordered a power bank, and the robot delivered it, which was very convenient. There's a laundry room and gym on the 13th floor, which is great for families as you can get all your dirty laundry done on the same day instead of bringing it home. After a day of flying, the most comfortable thing was the bed; my child fell asleep very quickly. I need to remember the mattress brand to buy the same one. The breakfast was also very rich, with everything you could ask for, I just forgot to take photos. We originally planned to see how this hotel was for our stay in Pudong and switch if we weren't satisfied, but we're absolutely delighted! The kids are happy, and the family loves it, so we're not planning to change hotels and have decided to extend our stay for another two days.

The newly opened Sheraton in Qingpu New City is fantastic, both in terms of facilities and service. They're incredibly responsive; a quick call for wine glasses or an ice bucket, and it's delivered to your room right away. Special shoutout to the front desk staff, especially one of the ladies there – her service was excellent. Highly recommend staying here; it will definitely be my first choice when I visit Qingpu again.
