"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Hyland. You truly cannot beat the location! Right outside the door is Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly easy to step out for shopping and dining with the family. For quick snacks and essentials, there is a very convenient convenience store right on the other side of the property. Plus, the Metro station is only about two blocks away—a very easy, flat, and walkable distance, even if you are managing bags or traveling with kids. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. After a long day of walking around Shanghai, we always appreciated coming back to a room where the air conditioning was nice and cool. The bathroom was fully stocked with a complete set of amenities, so we didn't have to worry about missing any essentials. The daily breakfast buffet offered a great variety to start the morning. There was a fantastic selection of fresh breads, several coffee machines to keep the parents caffeinated, and an impressive mix of local Chinese cuisine and American classics. Tucked away at the end, you'll find the popular egg station, right next to the meatloaves and hot dim sum plus noodles. There was even a dedicated Korean station, which was a unique touch. The breakfast food is delicious, but the menu doesn't vary much from day to day. If you are staying for a week or longer like we did, it can feel a bit repetitive. We wished they would rotate the choices a bit more. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Between the unbeatable location, clean rooms, and extensive breakfast options, it’s a highly recommended, stress-free base for families visiting Shanghai!"

"The front desk service was excellent! They offered a free airport pickup, and the price was very affordable – a great room for just a hundred yuan, definitely recommended. They also have a shuttle to Disneyland. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and breakfast was included."

"I chose the Vienna International Hotel nearby when I went to pick up my child from Pudong Airport. The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was very convenient. I just called the driver, told him the exact pick-up and drop-off times and locations, and he even helped me with my luggage onto the bus. Upon entering the hotel, I felt right at home. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and checked me in quickly. There were also two kinds of hot tea and a coffee machine available nearby. I needed to print some documents, and it was great that the lobby had a computer and printer for guests to use. Both the hallways and the room were clean and tidy, with a very European decor. On the first floor, there's a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic for getting laundry done quickly. I also tried a few Shanghainese dishes at a restaurant in the alley next to the hotel, and they were quite delicious. The hotel breakfast was very rich and plentiful. Overall, choosing this hotel was an excellent decision and a great experience."

"A great hotel for people waiting for their late night flight or having a lengthy layover in Shanghai. The rooms are spacious just know that there are two different winds south and north and they are quite different. South being more modern. You can access it by walking with the airport trolley loaded with your luggages. It is connected to both the airport terminals and you can also keep your trolley and use it on the way back hours later. There are around 5-10 restaurants right outside the hotel in the area that connects the hotel and airport. Easy check in - much faster than in any other hotels in Shanghai. The checkout is as fast an anywhere else - just give them your access card and you're all sorted. One common complaint I saw was about the Air conditioner that it doesn't work well - in my experience the AC isn't that powerful but if you set it to the minimum temperature of 18C it can get your room to a comfortable sleeping temperature."

"Located near the South Plaza, it's very close to both the train station and the subway. The room had a mini-fridge and plenty of drinking water. Breakfast was good, especially the freshly made noodles – the beef noodle soup had a generous amount of beef!"

I have that you can see the life and the mini shopping more and eating you can see it and it’s the nearest the Eastern energy Road have many choice to keep buying and have the pop Mart and like another. "The online service was great, and the location was super convenient for getting around. The environment was lovely, and the duplex room was absolutely fantastic! It offered incredible value for money. My kids even said, 'This hotel is amazing!' Breakfast was also really good, and having laundry facilities was a big plus. Highly recommend!"

"Disappointing Executive Experience - Would Not Recommend Rating: 2/5 (Mediocre) The only saving graces of our stay at the Mercure Yu Garden on The Bund were the great location and the fact that the cleanliness of the hotel was up to standard. The rest of the experience left a lot to be desired for a hotel of this chain. We booked an Executive Room, but honestly, it didn't feel like one at all; it completely failed to meet the expectations of that category. To make matters worse, the air conditioning malfunctioned, making our stay quite uncomfortable. The service and customer care were the weakest points: • Lack of information: No one informed us that there was a self-service laundry room for guests on the second floor. • Terrible laundry service: Since we weren't told about the guest laundry, we sent our clothes out through the hotel service. Not only did they charge us an exorbitant amount, but they also returned it late. I actually had to go and track it down myself because they wouldn't deliver it to our room. • Breakfast: We only tried it once and decided not to go back; we didn't really like it. In short, you pay for a ”premium” service that you simply do not receive. I would not recommend it. They seriously need to improve their communication and how they manage their services."
