"Atour exceeded my expectations, I was amazed by their excellent service. I was greeted with a cup of tea by one of the staff the moment I stepped into the hotel. The staff also went the extra mile to get my clothes back when the clothes were mixed up. The friendly staff would also deliver the laundry to our room. My friend and I greatly recommend Atour hotel. "Location: The location is excellent, with many shopping malls nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also a quick walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and People's Square Metro Station is just a short stroll away. Ambiance: The room was very comfortable, and my child loved it too. The lobby made a great first impression. Service: I absolutely have to give a special shout-out to the service! This is the first time I've genuinely wanted to write a positive review. The front desk lady was beautiful and gentle, with an incredibly good attitude! Due to an unexpected change in our itinerary, we had to check out a day early. The lady patiently guided us through how to modify our booking, and because we couldn't make it back in time, she even extended our check-out. Initially, I was a bit frustrated by the sudden change of plans, but the hotel's service brought great comfort. If I ever come back to Shanghai, I'll definitely stay here again. I highly, highly recommend it! The front desk lady was truly super, super nice!"

Hotel near People's Square Area,Shanghai
"A Hidden Gem Within Walking Distance of the ActionI wanted to stay close to Shanghai's famous Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, but I also wanted a quiet escape away from the overwhelming crowds and noise. This Atour Hotel was the absolute perfect choice. It is situated in a much calmer neighborhood, yet it is still within easy walking distance of the main pedestrian street and People's Square Metro Station. The moment I arrived, the front desk service was incredibly good. The staff greeted me with amazing warmth, checked me in efficiently, and were exceptionally helpful throughout my entire stay.My room was brand-new, completely spotless, and featured a massive, beautiful terrace. Having such a large, private outdoor space to unwind in the middle of Shanghai felt like a true luxury. The extra amenities made the stay even smoother. I made great use of the free self-service laundry room to wash my clothes, and I loved the convenience of having a cute service robot deliver late-night snacks directly to my door.If you want to be close enough to walk to the heart of the city but prefer a peaceful, brand-new sanctuary to retreat to at night, this Atour property is unbeatable. I will definitely stay here again!"

"The Jiudian branch is newly opened, with brand-new facilities and clean, comfortable rooms. We were pleasantly surprised to find a partial view of the Bund from our room; the night view was quite nice. We brought our parents to Shanghai for medical treatment, and the travel was quite tiring. We are especially grateful to the receptionist, Ms. Ouyang, who was warm, attentive, and helpful in arranging a room with a view. Her efficient service eased our travel fatigue. Overall, we had a very good stay and highly recommend it."

We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. You can tell there is real effort behind the scenes to keep ever

Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately drawn to the stunning flower arrangement at the front desk – so stylish and clearly freshly changed that day, it really brought the whole space to life. The hotel's overall Art Deco style, with its geometric lines and brass accents, was a feast for the eyes everywhere, from the elevators to the hallways, and perfectly suited my taste. The cleaning staff were also incredibly friendly, always greeting me warmly, making me feel as comfortable as if I were staying at a friend's house.

I stayed in the Puyi Suite this time. The hotel's location is outstanding, just 300 meters from Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, and People's Square is right around the corner. It's super convenient for shopping and visiting attractions. The staff were warm and friendly, offering thoughtful and meticulous service, always patiently answering any questions we had. The suite had a broad view, and the night view from the room was exceptionally beautiful; as the lights came on, the city scenery was truly breathtaking. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, perfect for both sightseeing and a relaxed getaway. ❤️❤️❤️ Next time I come to Shanghai, I'll definitely choose this hotel again, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip to Shanghai's West Bund and my overall experience far exceeded expectations. The hotel is right next to Xuhui Riverside and the West Bund Art Center, which made commuting for meetings incredibly convenient. I could even walk to the riverside promenade for a relaxing stroll after work. The entire hotel has a newly renovated Zen-inspired style, with quiet and elegant public areas. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was soft and thick, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep even after working late. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and polite. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, with the noodle dishes being particularly delicious. They also have a washer-dryer combo and a gym, covering all the essential amenities for business travelers. This is definitely my top choice for business trips, and I'll rebook here whenever I'm in the West Bund area again.

While the basic accommodation needs are met, there's definitely room for improvement in the details. In the mornings, there was often a loud banging noise from the corridor, which was quite disruptive and woke me up early, preventing a good night's sleep. The in-room facilities felt quite dated, and the bathroom waterproofing was inadequate; water would easily seep out during showers, making the floor slippery – a minor but present hazard. I hope the hotel considers renovating and upgrading the bathroom facilities and improving sound insulation between floors. On the positive side, the hotel's unique scenery and ambiance are big pluses. The lobby frequently features a resident band playing live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the common areas with their melodious tunes. The rooftop bar offers expansive views and an excellent sightseeing experience. The antique Rolls-Royce parked outside is a rare sight and makes for a stylish photo opportunity. Overall, it's a mixed bag of pros and cons.

The room was incredibly spacious. Opening the window, you're greeted with a view of South Shaanxi Road, which really evokes that classic old Shanghai charm. Toiletries were provided, and they were from ALDI. It was super convenient for shopping, and the metro station was less than 5 minutes away, so really close. The bed was huge; two of us stayed there and had plenty of space to stretch out. There was a microwave, but we didn't end up using it.

Great review! It's a loft with European-style decor, located in a Shikumen alleyway. I loved the small courtyard, perfect for an evening drink. It was clean and hygienic, with one large bed, one small bed, and a sofa. There's a projector and a smart toilet, plus a kitchen fully equipped with utensils, dishes, and seasonings. A microwave is also available for heating food. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. Disposable towels are available for a fee. There's also a washing machine and a drying rack, which is excellent and very convenient for longer stays! The service was very good, and any issues were promptly resolved. It's not far from attractions like the Bund and museums. Sinan Mansions and Tianzifang are within walking distance, with the latter being particularly close and great for a stroll. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and comfortable. The sofa bed comforter was a bit thick, and the large bed's mattress was quite soft – I personally prefer a firmer bed, but everything else was great. Highly recommend!

We stayed there for 6 nights. The flat is nice and looks like the pictures. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is not ideal, as it's hard to find the place and the alley is not well lit. It's not far from Nianjing Road and the Bund by metro.
